- HOW TO MAKE BABY FOOD: HOMEMADE PUREES
You asked for it! Here’s how to make your own baby food (Stage 1 purees) at home. This is an easy DIY that I do once a week with fruits and veggies, for both fresh and frozen foods. You can make a variety of baby foods this way and use breastmilk instead of water. Some people do not steam or peel certain fruits or vegetables (for nutrition value) this is just how I prefer to make my baby foods.

Anyone else here after hearing about all the baby food having dangerous levels of toxic metals?
I saw that! So scary!
Yup
Meee
Me! My baby is 9 months and I’m scared I’m doing this too late 😭
Yes and thank God I was gifted a baby steamer and blender in one at my baby shower so all I needed was jars and a recipe book. I’m about to be making all my kids baby food. My son has only been on baby food for 2 months but I feel so guilty for not knowing.
instead of using water you can use breastmilk which adds nutrients!
Nikki Bentley Is My Angel yes there is....?
Nikki Bentley Is My Angel I’ve literally seen my sister pump her BREASTMILK. It’s not that yellow or thick. It feeds baby and comes from the breast. It’s human milk. It’s called lactation for a reason.
@Nikki Bentley Is My Angel TROLL
Shayna Kasdan Lawd I hope so
@Nikki Bentley Is My Angel uhmmm, WHAT? My breastmilk is white and just at thin as 2% cows milk. I love breastfeeding my daughter, it's good for her. Sorry your mind is so full of sexual thoughts when it comes to children 😬
I have no baby, but watching anyways 😊
Same
Same.
Samee
Me too
My bought this at the thrift store (cheap price 4.95$) today thinking it was a normal blender even though it is and now we got to use it for smoothies and grind oats up ha .
You should definitely rinse the spinach even if the package says it's been rinsed. You never know how clean greens actually are. (Also, I've found caterpillars, ladybugs, and other little critters in organic spinach on several occasions.)
Toughens the kids immune system
@@Morbanity Do you just pick food out of dumpsters too?
Be a great way to boost your kid's immune system. 🙄
@@pinds83 😂😂😂👍🏻 Let's go organic and get hepatitis.......
The bugs just mean its actually organic, no pesticides 👍🏻
@@sweetkorn9224 More protein!
first of all your baby girl is so adorable second of all what you're doing is way better and healthier than going to buy baby food from grocery store never knowing what they put in it so good job
Just so everyone know to make the healthiest food for your children steamed over boiled when you boil you are throwing some of the vitamins away
Yes!!!! This is what is was thinking the entire time!!!
Yes but food before 1 is just for fun anyways.. they’re main source of nutrition within the first year should always be breastmilk or formula!
That's what i wanted to say. She literally doesnt know how to make food but just video stuff. You use formula or breast milk not water.
To boil in? I don’t get that much when I pump 😩
O Riskii Same thing here, girl!
If you are an under supplier don’t worry about adding breast milk. Boiled water is just fine. You may add breast milk just before giving to your baby once it’s thawed from the fridge/freezer (which tends to be anyways a little thicker than when freshly made). That’s what we do. ☺️
It is so clear how much you care about your daughter and I have so much respect for you because of that.
Keep the stems!!!! They contain more nutrients than the leaf, plus there’s no difference in taste and there’s no texture either (after blending)
Also you should put the sweet potato in the oven so it keeps all the vitamins and nutrients and are not all gone in the water, after it’s soft in the oven the peel just comes right off like butter, no need to peel.
I like to keep as much of all the natural good stuff in my baby’s food so she gets the most out of it.
I will be having a baby soon and have been interested in making my own food for her. I would love to watch more of these!
I make my sons baby food it’s super easy! And the baby bullet comes with a recipe book 😊
I watched this and I’m not even a mama! You’re so adorable! Love your videos so much! ♥️
Love love love! More baby food videos please!
I loved prepping meals for my son when he was a baby. He was raised on 100% Boob and Homemade baby food. Only once, did he ever try processed baby food. That was at Disneyland. I took him to Disneyland when he was a baby, and they wouldn’t let me bring his food into the park! So, I ended up buying him a Gerber Banana flavored baby food from their snack area. He tried it and spit it out! Then I tried it and spit it out! I couldn’t believe people actually feed that stuff to their babies! To quell his hunger, I bought him a Strawberry and Vanilla Streetcar Sundae with extra whipped cream. We both devoured it! ☺️
HAHA!! That's how Kenny would have been too!
I made my daughters baby food and she’s a great eater still at almost 3!! Her fav was always sweet potatoes and she still loves them...she also loved cauliflower, squash, egg plant, spinach added to things, green beans, peas, carrots and any and all fruit!!! I boiled a ton but also found baking things was great too!! I also added in a touch of butter and different spices like organic onion powder and such... do you ever just do your your fruits cold like an apple sauce and such? I have a son now also he’s two months and I am rushing it by no means but excited to get back into making baby food!!

Have you used an apple peeler/corer? You attach the apple onto the metal spike and turn the handle and it peels and cores the apple. Easy to clean and use.
Thank you!! I was considering making my own baby food and you convinced me!
I'm so glad! Let me know how it works out!
I don't even have a baby but I mean I can't miss any of your amazing videos xx

This was so helpful. After watching this, I totally feel comfortable making my own baby food. Thanks for sharing!
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching!
I’ve learned to use the same water that I used to boil the vegetables/fruit since the water sucks all the nutrients and using the same water kinda put the nutrients back in.
I prefer to steam, but boiling it’s kinda easier, I think. 😅
Yes, I agree. I do the same thing. 🤗😁
Where did you get your baby food puree machine at its so adorable. I love watching your channel 💁🏻👑

Currently about to use my baby nutrient bullet for the first time 🥰🥰🥰 wanted to start making my own baby foods at 7 months so today is first 🥰
Can you share the brands of the oatmeal you recommend making for the baby please? ☺️
Angela, you may not think so yet, but this is a BIG DEAL!
Thanks!
You are so adorable! Thanks for the ideas and for the laughs 😃 I'm going to be a 1st time grandma soon, so I can use this info for my new granddaughter. She is expected to arrive in November!
Awww! Congratulations!!
Great video! My second baby was for sure my picky eater (and still is at 5years old 😩) from the first introduction of foods. Mixing chicken broth instead of water into some of the veggies helped. Looking forward to making food again soon! My littlest guy is 3 months. Loving the mom content!
I’m learning how to make baby food for babysitting just in case
Thankyou for this video! One questions! How do you decide which combination of baby food to feed your baby fro breakfast lunch or dinner?? Or do you just feed her all the combinations in one day no matter the order?
She’s cute!! This was refreshing to watch .
Awwww! Thank you!
@@angelalanter of course!
