It was so relaxing going with you on a small town adventure, Sandi. Thank you for bringing us along. As for the ginger, if you haven't thrown it out already (😂), it's great chopped up in scones, cookies, and quick breads. It's also good chopped up and added to sautéed green beans. And, best of all, you can put a couple big pieces in a mug and cover with hot water for a ginger tea that will help sooth your voice back!
I LOOOOVE your home stdio and your beautiful property .... but it is SO MUCH FUN to travel with you as well. All the work you did on this video is just delightful. Thank you for another great video. May i suggest that you consider a class on buildings; things like houses, churches, storefronts, barns, etc. I would buy it in a heartbeat. I would love to be shown how to simplify the painting by choosing the things to leave out and the things to include. You are an amazing artist. I've enjoyed you for years.

We are driving through Wales and I’ve been doing drawings loosely based on what I’ve been seeing in the landscape, joining them all together. Sort of the way you have described. Such fun! ❤
Always enjoy going on your trips with you. Love watching you work in your sketchbooks. Good idea with the dog bowls, never thought about that. McDonald's cups are my go to. Just throw them away when they get too nasty

It’s amazing!!! the sound it made as you readjusted the easels position, you should’ve heard me. “Nooo waaaaayyy!” I didn’t know higher level easels could make really great sounds. I know it’s crazy but that’s always such a big deal for me with my tools and equipment. What an amazing resource you have gotten for your self. Do you love it? Is it just the best? I hope it’s giving you all the vibes. And it looks bigger which is good because you’ve gotten to where you’re painting. Much bigger now. Loved seeing it. ❤❤❤
I don’t know how you manage your matérials outside but I’m impressed. I don’t have any art studio, so I made myself a box with my crayons and gouache, so I can draw and paint in the living room (inspired by urban sketcher) but I still feel discouraged to dispose my materials on the table and then put everything back in place. So it’s really inspiring to see you are not afraid or bored to place your materials and sort that out each time.

Thank you for taking us along on your trip! I enjoy seeing how you put the world around you down on the page. I find it inspiring. I love the Neocolor 1s too. I wish I could get the open stock. I also love Greek food and crystallized ginger. It's delicious with dark chocolate and hazelnuts. What a sweet little town this is. So much fun for you to visit and sketch. Thanks for taking us along!

Every time you show yourself painting in the car, just blows my mind!! How do you manage not to make a mess? And do you not get carsick? Oh your coffee shop paintings are just the bests! I love them sooo much! It so makes me want to go to my local ones even though I don’t drink coffee and I’d be shy to have anyone notice me painting them. lol

Can you please tell me what kind of easel you now have? I usually have painted on a wall rather than an easel, but I’ve been liking having an easel more recently, for when I want to work at home. Your new one looks so nice and sturdy! Also I laughed when you said you always swatch and never use your swatches. Same here! Hahaha

Wheeeeee! Thanks for taking us along. Your videos are a constant inspiration! My favorite thing is the little yellow teapot in the last painting. I took a road trip to Cincinnati last weekend and wish I'd taken more photographs for reference. I was helping a friend move and did all the driving, so unfortunately I couldn't whip out my phone as much as I would've liked. Definitely didn't have a moment to sketch, but maybe next time when I visit and things are more chill.

I’ve been thinking about moving your eye around a sketch. Do you plan how the eye moves? I notice in some of your sketches I moved counter clockwise. Is that what you planned or. Happy accident?
