lmao why does their answer to "what is your favorite nolan film" sound like they're trying to contribute to a class discussion they havent done the reading for
yeah i don't doubt that they actually like the film (i definitely sound the same way when I'm trying to describe my favorite albums and movies), just poking a bit of fun 😁
I understand why. Maybe you are just not used to war films? Because I'm actually also sensitive and certain films can stress me out a lot, like films with lots of blood in them. Dunkirk has minimal blood in it and I also love WW2 films, so it worked for me.
Feline Feline it was very stressful but emotional and also showed our Brit spirit in times if adversity. This is what my grandfather went through . It's terrifically done and so important to remember and show how people cleave together in times of adversity
I felt the same way. I went to see it and straight away wanted to again, so I did watch it again two days later. Still just as good the second time around.
I have to say man, after all the crazy interviews on UA-cam I've watched over the years this one has to be the best one yet. The way you controlled the narrative and asked the questions was absolutely great. I couldn't see you going another route with this. Thank you for your candor and professionalism.
When Jack Lowden took his pilot mask off when he was trapped in the plane, I just stared for a solid minute. That mofo is gorgeous. God Bless Scotland.
MATE! the entire first time of watching dunkirk, i was sitting there going 'jesus christ, he looks so much like simon'. im so bloody glad you picked it up too. damn with jack's look in the film - they could've been brothers! (ngl i think simon's more attractive tho ahaha)
Tom hardy and cillian murphy are proass actors havent seen the movie but i know it will be awesome and u guys should check out legend if u havent seen it
The Dark Knight is not a better film than Memento, Inception or Interstellar, it's seriously incredible but there are faults here and there as much as I fucking love it
Ben Jauncey yeah definitely subjective. i found all to be on a similar level. on a matter of rewatching a movie for fun rather than intrigue, it is easy to understand why dark knight would be most people's favorites.
Finally found someone who appreciate "MEMENTO" I don't know why people can't appreciate Memento and The Prestige The best Movies of Nolan in terms of Story as my Opinion.
that part where the interviewer was like: And Cillian Murphy's cheekbones, how was the experience on the... and Tom Glynn Carney like: Yeah you can key a car with them, can't you and interviewer guy like: I think he probably has in his younger days, growing up; just roll 'em along the sides "JUST ROLL 'EM ALONG THE SIDES" AGHHHH an more interviewers be like this guy? Like daaang half of the interviewers interviewing Cillian Murphy just asking a forty something-year-old man what his favorite Snapchat filter is and he's like "uhhhhh", and then the other guy's like "I don't know what that is" and Cillian Murphy's like "... yeah.... (pls get me out of here help call 911)"
I don't know which actor is which but red hair really suits that guy on the left. I thought it was natural too until he said it was dyed for a different film part.
I was lucky enough that nobody else was in the cinema with me when I watched "Dunkirk". No stupid people with phones there. Like, how can they even follow? Everything went so fast.
So many people here calling Tom Glynn-Carney Cillian Murphy?? The two don’t even look alike at all. Tom G-C whose hair is dyed orange is a natural blond and Cillian’s hair is dark. Don’t get how a whole lot of commentators say it’s Cillian who’s being interviewed here. So weird! Actually, who Tom really looks like is Mia Farrow’s son Ronan Farrow who is a writer and journalist. Put both their pictures together and they look like twins with the same blond hair and face.
uh dude, for starters watch breakfast on pluto. Thats a completely different role for him, also broken and peaky blinders of course. Cillian murphy takes on various eclectic roles
Peaky Blinders? Anthropoid? Breakfast on Pluto? The Wind That Shakes the Barley? 28 Days Later? Broken? Robert Fischer in Inception is not what I would call a nut job either. Cillian is one of the most talented actors who is capable of taking on any role; he excels in them all. Exceptionally talented man.
This movie is boring as fck. face closeups. talk you cant understand and an organ screaming in your ear as if the player fell asleep on the keyboard as well. Don't watch it.
Christopher Nolan was all about making Dunkirk seem real to make the audience drawed in and to bring out proper reactions from the actors which I think makes this film truly special as they try as hard as they can to see as close as they can to what those conditions were like without using cgi so they don't have to imagine spitfires or explosions going off around them but actually see it to get a genuine reaction.
Which is why we get to see all the plastic framed windows on the buildings from the 1970s on the beach front and the weird absence of soldiers on the beach and the absence of equipment and the train carriages from the 1960s and the warehouses from the 1990s and the cranes from the 2000s and the absence of a navy and the absence of historical context and the unconvincing dialogue... and then to top it all they go to Dorset. As if you would go to Dorset when you're crossing from Dunkirk. Go look at a map. This is the stupidest film I have seen this decade.
AnEnemy100 ok... Well they could've decided to smash people's windows in to film but that doesn't sound like a good idea. But that's not what your meant to focus on plus Dunkirk veterans have seen the film and cried over how realistic the film was and the memories which have flourished back to them sooo... I think I'll stick to people who were actually there.
AnEnemy100 i can understand why nolan wanted to stray from cgi but i dont think it was awfully noticeable other than ghe lack of soldiers on the beach. he realllly needed to add more soldiers there because it made it seem like there were 1/5 of the amount that were actually stranded.

Cillian Murphy is not in this interview
What a lovely interviewer.
the first time i watched Peaky Blinders i had a hard time focusing on what tommy shelby was saying because i was so lost in cillian's eyes
That's very poetic way of explain it.
lmao why does their answer to "what is your favorite nolan film" sound like they're trying to contribute to a class discussion they havent done the reading for
Aisha Balogun the darkness😂
I feel like people just want an interesting or unique answer, but then they realize The Dark Knight is just too good of a film.
I saw this comment at that part of the video and I started dying😂😂😂
yeah i don't doubt that they actually like the film (i definitely sound the same way when I'm trying to describe my favorite albums and movies), just poking a bit of fun 😁
Aisha Balogun They were stuttering because of how epic The Dark Knight is, tbh this is how I describe it as well xD
Need more interviewers like this, not annoying, boring or disrespectful

Mica Mendoza cool. He is Irish like me😋
I went to see this movie and a few days later I am dying to see it again.
Feline Feline i quite liked it but it stressed me terribly. i think the score was a big part of it.
Totally agree. This film is going to become a classic for sure.
I felt the same way. I went to see it and straight away wanted to again, so I did watch it again two days later. Still just as good the second time around.
Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy are just my fucking favourites and nothing can change it
Jack's laugh though. How could it be so adorable when he laughs!
Tom's cheekbones are pretty impressive. Love his accent too.
JACK IS ALREADY HOT AND THEN HIS ACCENT IS JUST.....
I know! He's truly beautiful 😭 And I cracked up so hard when I heard his laugh 2:09 sounds like a dolphin?? 😂😂❤️

I have to say man, after all the crazy interviews on UA-cam I've watched over the years this one has to be the best one yet. The way you controlled the narrative and asked the questions was absolutely great. I couldn't see you going another route with this. Thank you for your candor and professionalism.
Cillian is beautiful
They're both beautiful and their accents
When Jack Lowden took his pilot mask off when he was trapped in the plane, I just stared for a solid minute. That mofo is gorgeous. God Bless Scotland.
Just searched it GOD DAMN BOY.
This was actually such a relaxed little interview, ya don't see these types often
Jack Lowden looks like a younger, better looking Simon Pegg, doesn't he?! 😊
OMG YES! this is so true! Everytime I see Jack Lowden he reminds me of a younger Simon Pegg.
OH MY GOD! Thank you so much, I thought I was the only one who noticed it.
He's cute. Like Simon Pegg mixed with Tom Hiddleston.
Hahaha! Now I only see a young Simon Pegg!!
MATE! the entire first time of watching dunkirk, i was sitting there going 'jesus christ, he looks so much like simon'. im so bloody glad you picked it up too. damn with jack's look in the film - they could've been brothers! (ngl i think simon's more attractive tho ahaha)
I think 3:06 is the best moment of the entire interview
Tom deadass looks just like Cillian and Jack looks like Simon Pegg. These two can pass as their children seriously.
Cillian Murphy AND Harry Styles in one film - bone structure heaven ❤️
Jack is so dreamy

I was bored.
Emily Komiyama Maybe they don't know what it means to be considerate.
Emily Komiyama should of pelted something at them.
These guys are honest about mcgregor-mayweather fight
This video's title is misleading. They never at any point said they were 'in love' with Cillian Murphy. They compliment him yes but that's about it .

The Dark Knight is not a better film than Memento, Inception or Interstellar, it's seriously incredible but there are faults here and there as much as I fucking love it
Ben Jauncey Subjective, I guess.
Ben Jauncey yeah definitely subjective. i found all to be on a similar level. on a matter of rewatching a movie for fun rather than intrigue, it is easy to understand why dark knight would be most people's favorites.
Interstellar was ass..
Finally found someone who appreciate "MEMENTO" I don't know why people can't appreciate Memento and The Prestige
The best Movies of Nolan in terms of Story as my Opinion.

Terrific film.
Terimaksih sudah membagikan video yang menarik 🙏
It's my Hotspur right here
Well done Tom!! Proud of you lad! ❤
This guy would be really good at No Questions Asked
I don't know which actor is which but red hair really suits that guy on the left. I thought it was natural too until he said it was dyed for a different film part.
I fell in love with Barry Keoghan.
crowe bobby he’s so cute in Dunkirk. Shame about his fate in it.
Tom could pass Cillian's brother for Peaky Blinders series...
I was lucky enough that nobody else was in the cinema with me when I watched "Dunkirk". No stupid people with phones there. Like, how can they even follow? Everything went so fast.
CGI Simon pegg looks cgi simon pegg
2:08
FUCK'S SAKE, HE'S PURE HERE LYK
Cillian Murphy 🥵🥵

He does look like ronan
The Scottish guy reminds me of James McAvoy
yes.
Okay so everyone gonna agree with me that no one ever appreciate "Memento" and "The Prestige".
Wait they're so cute
Seriously who wouldn't?
The interviewer sounds like a skelliger XD
Cillian Murphy is type casted. He always plays the crazy nutjob.
Macario has never seen Peaky Blinders
Not really though. You should watch more of his films. He's not playing a 'nutjob' in this one either, but a man with PTSD which isn't the same.
uh dude, for starters watch breakfast on pluto. Thats a completely different role for him, also broken and peaky blinders of course. Cillian murphy takes on various eclectic roles

it's for sure you haven't seen his films
I could hardly recognise him with the red hair, I've only seen him with black hair and flat caps
"Take the rest of the day off"- wonder if this wally says that to everybody.
A bit disappointing to find out he's not actually ginger.
I LOVE YOU
Dunn Dee.
F yeah!!
I thought it was a poor film
they look and sound bored
nenabunena They've probably had many interviews before this one, that day..
This movie is boring as fck.
face closeups. talk you cant understand and an organ screaming in your ear as if the player fell asleep on the keyboard as well.
Don't watch it.
Menis Ponster sounds like a movie i'd fucking LOVE to watch
I have never seen a film so badly in need of cgi.
AnEnemy100 huh?
Christopher Nolan was all about making Dunkirk seem real to make the audience drawed in and to bring out proper reactions from the actors which I think makes this film truly special as they try as hard as they can to see as close as they can to what those conditions were like without using cgi so they don't have to imagine spitfires or explosions going off around them but actually see it to get a genuine reaction.
