No drugs… just pure talent.. PURE TALENT!!!!
Freddie being Freddie. Total jam.
Nope. Not drug induced. They were generally very professional during their show. All four members of Queen have college degrees and have written hit songs which is very unusual to have in one group. That's how they got such variety in their music catalog. They bring out the best in each other to create pure magic on stage. As for Freddie's stage presence, that was a gift. He was born with that gift and could turn it off and on at will, as he was actually pretty shy off stage. I would not consider any of the band members crazy, just super talented but I know what you mean. There are some artists who got their talent from the crazy gene but not these guys. They were all really normal dudes. Separately, they are all very talented but together...pure genius. Thanks for the reaction!
Beautiful response! Thank you for explaining and not getting offended by the question!
@@cooleyreacts760 shouldnt offend anyone 60s & 70s bands were usin goes back to tha Beatles Queen not so much .. there were rumors Freddie dabbled durin their NY visits & also while he wuz in Munich but who knos God Tier Queen would be tha opening of Wembley '86 One Vision live
@@cooleyreacts760 Love me some Queen ❤ All 4 members are in the Songwriters Hall of Fame! Wanna hear some more creative music? Pink Floyd 🔥🎶🔥
Freddie regularly used cocaine, he was absolutely amazing with or without it, well educated doesn't necessarily mean no drugs 😂 Peter Freestone regularly got it for him and he even said that the police in Kensington knew he had it at home but left him alone because he was discreet.
John Deacon (bass) said this was his favorite song to play live. The bassline on this is killer and the guitar is pumping, drums are pounding, it is just an outstanding song. Written by Brian May (Guitar), Brian has never done drugs, he hates them to this day. This song is so gritty, I just love it. No, not drug induced, just Queen high energy performance, that's how they do it. ALL FOUR members of this band are songwriters so Queen will have a lot of different sounding music, also they were not afraid to try it all. Performing in front of 60,000 people will bring out your energy. Freddie loved the crowds, the bigger the better. In Rio, there were about 300,000 in the audience for each show, Hyde Park, over 150,000 and in Japan huge crowds as well. Freddie loved it all.
Yes its credited to Brian because he polished it up and presented it as a song
But even he laughed in their commantary video saying well I'm not sure I should say this is mine really it was a jam session and I took all the best bits
He didnt compose it as such but tweaked what they did
It should be credited to Queen really rather than Brian
My favorite to see. Yup, he uid
Never during a live performance! They were perfectionists who practiced this over and over! Really set the bar high!
No drugs...Freddie Mercury is the best!!! The best at everything!!
Best performer, singer, frontman that ever lived!!
The answer to your question is - the catalyst for this song was booze. Queen guitarist Brian May, who wrote the song, admitted it was "Done very late one night probably to the morning, probably very drunk. It was put together in an unusual way. We just jammed for a while and put down the basic riff." (Brian was very much against doing drugs and even smoking.)
Freddie had that natural gift of being able to sell whatever song he was singing as coming out of his very being. This performance was part of a concert in Montreal in 1981. If you watch any of the other videos, you will see how Freddie's chameleon-like talent to become whatever the song energy required.
All four members of Queen were extremely gifted musicians and composers. I have always felt that Queen the group was greater than the sum of their individual parts but each of them was that creative. They inspired and drove each other.
You need to check out this video. It is a documentary of Queen recording one of their songs called "One Vision". You can get a sense of how they worked together (the band admitted that totally accurate presentation because they were on their best behavior during the filming. Queen was known to scrabble and fight during recording sessions because they all were striving for perfection). ua-cam.com/video/XssPitrqOXM/v-deo.html
Here is how the song ended up sounding after they mixed all of those recordings.. This is Queen performing "One Vision" live at Wembley stadium 1986 - ua-cam.com/video/lgwfMF5kSJ0/v-deo.html
They were all amazing, but Freddie was a phenomenal being.
They are the drug. What you see is pure creative talent. They were always ahead of their time. Once you get a good look at Queen you will start to see their influence on many others
No drugs! Just pure commitment to making magical music....always. Queen and Freddie are perfection!!!❤❤❤❤
The band was working on their next album in Munich, they spent a night with drinking in a club or bar, than they returned to the studio and started jamming, Dragon Attack is the result. They were the most innovative and creative group either at recording or at the live shows. They enjoyed the freedom of playing live, never played the recorded versions and every concerts were different.
Pretty sure Brian himself said they he was pretty out of it when he wrote the song so ur not wrong
I love the existence you have as the song continues.
Definitely one of their best performances, but then it’s hard to find a bad one😀
No it’s not “drug induced”. It’s called talent. It’s something that most music today is missing. Queen wrote and performed all their music. The music of today is written by multiple people and manufactured and then given to the artist. That’s why you don’t see this same energy. Queen of course is a one-of-a-kind with its own genre of music in my opinion. But what you witnessing is authentic music making by 4 genus musicians. It’s pretty rare.
All four members of the band genius there was no need for drugs they don't get better than Queen❤❤❤❤❤❤ please react to Live Aid Concert 1985..Queen..Freddie Forever ❤❤❤❤😂
He is just very talented and creative . You kept asking How he does it. Again it’s pure musicl genius. Not just Rock but all kinds of genre. He can sing opera just as well. Watch his recordings with Montserrat Caballe, the well known Spanish opera diva. Watch him on his late release by Dave Clark “Time”even that he had died in1991
I completely understand what you are saying. Queen is at a totally different level.
There creativity on all levels is a once in a lifetime event and will never be duplicated.
RIP FREDDIE WE MISS YOU. KEEP GOING DOWN THE QUEEN RABBIT HOLE AND THE QUEEN ARMY WILL FOLLOW!
One thing about QUEEN...they do their 💯 every time....they are creative...
Here are a few more queen songs to react to
Tie your mother down wembly
Tie your mother down Milton Keynes 1982
Hammer to fall Budapest 1986
Crazy thing called love live aid
It's a kind of magic wembly
One vision wembly
There will never be another queen
R.I.P. FREDDIE WE MISS YOU
No disrespect taken. It's actually a testament to how amazing Freddie, Brian, Roger, and John were. It really is hard to believe sometimes. React to Live Aid. Seriously. Freddie wrote a lot of the music, but they all wrote hits. They're all in the Songwriter Hall of Fame for their individual writing.
They are just the greatest of all time!
Freddie and. Michael j. Did a few duets. Look it up. Loved it
Pure creativity, hard work, & talent! Not drug induced whatsoever!!
This song is from and about their wild Munich studio days and club nights..."Mack" in the song was their producer. Likely there were late night wild sessions in the studio that "inspired." But top notch on stage professionals, fueled by the audience.
Queen was known to party but they were/are all musical geniuses. Freddy use to write songs and play guitar and piano before he was a teenager...he was born to do what he did. They all 4 wrote all their songs and music.
Freddie was always in the zone onstage. No acid crap or anything it like that. They all wrote songs, he sang lead in most, they did great backup or lead vocals, but he just WAS that creative. He lived for it, and grew wanting it. Back then, many WERE very creative. NO-he did not write all the music. They all wrote hit songs for the group. And he studied performers he loved and BECAME a performer, as well the best vocalist ever. Just because they don’t have that now doesn’t mean it never existed.
No drugs while performing, though John Deacon, bass, was known to have a little bar behind the equipment and was sometimes quite drunk by the end of the concert. Never missed a note regardless. lol They all wrote hit songs and were all college educated. Brian May, lead guitar, received his Doctorate.
Sorry, but nobody compares to Freddie .
He is know as the Worlds Best. And that he is. There will never be another.
Great reaction...no disrespect felt...it's just amazing how they perform...all four wrote, Freddie does majority of lead vocals, Roger and Brian do sing on albums and at concerts to some songs, this is why they can not be blocked into one genre of music...their versatility is unique
Thanks, Cooley - song written by Brian May.. John Deacon on bass is amazing... and don't forget Roger on the drums... of course, Freddie is Freddie... unparalleled... lol (nope - they could not have performed this on drugs! lol).. check out not only We will Rock you/We are the Champions.. but also Somebody to Love.. particularly the live version...
Love 'ya! NO! Not drug induced. Freddie puts all he has into his performing. I always see so many of Freddie's muscles playing a role in his response to the music, the rhythm, the fans. Plus Queen rehearsed...called it 'routining' each of them knew what either of the other brought to the 'show. It's why it never gets old watching Queen perform. Freddie didn't write ALL the music...more than the others but the 4 were prolific writers. Definition of 'crazy' is what? Gonna re-educate myself after I finish this. Perhaps he was a kind of 'crazy'...certainly magnificently unreal. Loved watching you watch them! Thanks!
Great reaction! I read somewhere that all members apart from Brian dabbled in drugs at some point. However, none of them ever had any problems with drugs, and on stage they were all totally professional. The two remaining members Brian and Roger (guitarist and drummer) did a commentary on this concert a few years ago and they said that Freddie was VERY angry at the people filming the show interfering and getting in the way. I’m sure they also said he had a huge argument with the producer just before the show. Also, he was frustrated at the security who were stopping the fans from moving around and joining in so I think a huge part of the intensity of this performance comes from his frustration and anger.
They were all creative & had different taste in music, that’s what made them soooo great. Check out Liar at the Rainbow. Another genre again. They were all crazy….crazy good!!!!!
Yo boss. Try Queen “another one bites the dust “ 🔥🔥🔥
That is Freddie's signature - - the mic with the stand and no bottom. (purposeful)
Story goes very early on a mic stand broke on him and he performed that way anyway and then it became 'a thing'
When he was with Ibex
Here area few to react to
Stone cold crazy live at the rainbow
Cool cat
Under pressure queen and David bowie classic mix
Don't stop me know
It's a kind of magic live at wembly

Killer queen

Freddie and the whole band were one of a kind. There music was so cutting edge and unique. The will only be one queen. Freddie and the band have influenced so many in the music industry know and will into the future. There creativity was groundbreaking and was at such a high level queen was in there own world in pushing the music envelope. The were so cutting edge in so many different ways .
Freddie's stage presents is so incredible its hard to take your eye off of him. I hope you can react to some of these song. You are on your way down the queen rabbit hole. Welcome to the queen army. Enjoy the ride I know we will enjoy it with you.
R.I.P. Freddie we miss you
The song was written by Brian May
Totally Understand why You Would Wonder, Honestly, back then artist Gave it Their All and Queen Strove for Perfection, nothing Less !!!!
Let’s put it this way .. QUEEN IS OUR DRUG! So addicting that we can’t get it out of our system! Gotta have Queen! Brian May penned this sexy jam .. IMO, “Dragon on my back” is the fire-breathing Red Special (Brian’s guitar). One of the best selling artists on the planet. All band members in the Songwriters Hall of Fame & Rock n Roll Hall of Fame! Also received the Brit Award For Contribution To Music! 🔥🐲
React to "We will rock you--we are the champions ", from Montreal 1981 or live at Wembley 1986.
Really, any concert.
"Bohemian rhapsody " live at these concerts or any concert.
There are so many concerts and songs you can React to live.
Love it 😍 thanks for your reactions
A question is and always should be welcome. This was not drug induced. Freddie Mercury was a unicorn. A one and only. One of the best performers and talents ever exposed to the public. Next level, top shelf supreme talent. That goes for the entire band. This was a true and solid as a rock, band. This was 4 unicorns who came together and put out beautiful music. ❤️
The mic stand was pretty much always there. I'm not sure how that started but it was just part of him.
This was real music from reall mucisian, withouth autotune and all that shit! Just his wonderful voice, and the best band who ever have been on earth…….
HEY Cooley!
One of my FAV reactions to this performance... This is going into one of my playlists!

(An absolute MUST SEE for everybody!)
YESSSS YESSSS
No drugs, this came out of them just jamming in the studio...they were drinking
No Freddie didn’t write all of the music all four members wrote, Brian the lead guitarist wrote this song they all wrote number one hits all four inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & songwriters Hall of Fame lead singer Freddie has a diploma in graphic art and design Roger Taylor the drummer has a degree in biology after changing from dentistry Dr Brian May lead guitarist has a doctorate in astrophysics John Deacon bass player has a first class honours degree in electrical engineering all four equal multi instrumentalists making up the most fantastic band x
Nope no drugs they all wrote the songs, it certainly wasn't Freddie and Queen it's just Queen with four highly intelligent members, Dr Brian May (astrophysicist) wrote We Will Rock You, can't remember which one wrote this, Dr Brian May built his own Guitar from items around his childhood home with his dad back in the early 60's John Deacon built Amps which both he and Brian would use, Roger Taylor studied dentistry at college, where he had a group with Brian and another person, then Freddie joined them, he did most of the design as he studied this at college in London, but I can say don't fall into the assumption that Freddie wrote everything, they worked on other projects while still in Queen and I'm old enough to remember when they started over 50 years ago
Check out queen one vision live at wembly stadium
This song is the result of a drunken jam session. Written by Brian May, the guitarist with the curly hair.
No way , they were very professional and didn’t do drugs during a show.
But one thing is true and is a fact, QUEEN is the best band of all time, and Freddie IS the best singer, not only his fans tell this but is proven by science and music.
Yes that is absolutely true.
Just raw , amazing talant . Not at all offended you don't learn if you don't ask .respect .💚💜💚💜 When you look at a beautiful painting do you ask if the artist was on drugs , Freddie was an artist in his field 😙
Listen to more Queen, they are the best!
You be surprised at : Under pressure
Thx for reacting 🎤🎸🎶💜
Queen did party but not really on stage. I think it was the "after parties" lol. No offense taken. He was a musical genius. Yes..genius is borderline crazy. My son is a guitarist, producer, audio engineer, a perfectionist and genius...but borderline crazy too.😅😆😅😆🥰
🥰 Subbed for Queen & Pink Floyd! 🤗 Hoping for some Rush & Steely Dan! 😊🐰
Dr. Brian May who wrote this is a PhD astronomer and astro physicist who has worked with NASA especially in 3D photography. He built his guitar as a teen with the help of his dad,, from parts and bits He also wrote We Will Rock You and many more. Definitely not crazy, nor are any of the others. The bassist, John Deacon has an advanced degree in electrical engineering. One of the many songs he wrote is Another One Bites The Dust, and created the bass line of Under Pressure which Vanilla Ice stole for Ice Ice Baby, and was sued. Roger Taylor, the drummer also has his one albums with his band The Cross, where he is lead singer, guitarist and drummer and is highly respected by other musicians. He wrote A Kind of Magic for the Highlander Movie, and Radio Gaga, which Lady Gaga was a fan and chose her name from that song. Roger has a science degree. Freddie wrote We are the Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, Don't Stop Me Now and an endless list of others. He has a degree in design and graphic Arts, and is well verse in not only music, but art, ballet, and the classics including opera. They all started as youngsters. Learning their craft and mastering several instruments, mostly self taught. They are all gifted, dedicated, and highly motivated, respected, and intelligent....and frankly, assuming they are both drugged and crazy is very much both insulting and disrespectful, whether you meant to be or not.
Actually, Brian said that when he wrote the song or they were too drunk or to tired and sleepy because was like a 3 am.
No drugs, they were drunk and they created this one. Nice reaction
Freddie and Brian wrote most of the songs. Freddie writting a few more.
John wrote 12
Roger wrote quite a lot but in the 70s wanted to sing his own
70s the top ten uk were Freddies
Seven seas no 10
Killer Queen no 2
Bohemian rhapsody first no 1 for 9wks!
Somebody to love no 2
We are the champions no 2
no 4 us double a side with rock you
Dont stop me now no 9
Crazy little thing called love no 2 uk which was also their first us no 1
Only John who had the other top ten no 7 uk youre my best friend which is still known now
John started the 80s with their second us no 1 uk no 7 another one bites the dust
This tune was meant for a young Tom Morello 💯
With the shirt off - that means this is in the encore. A technique done by ALL bands back in the day (new material at the end). Freddie in a audio interview said that the blacks came and were shocked that Queen were white. [no disrespect the word choice was how the world respectfully referenced the different races at the time of the interview].
The song (a) yes its actually ABOUT drugs. And Freddie was (b) definitely in a music groove. Generally, Freddie left drugs for after concerts and may have been drunk on stage if anything. Although only people there could really say for sure. He did LIKE to drink!!
This particular concert was 2 night filmed for DVD. Film crew threatened audience with expulsion if they were.too loud or got out of their seats. Queen thrives on audience participation so this situation really agitated the band while playing (partly why Freddie says, come on do it to the beat) trying to get them to be 'normal'. The 2nd day the film crew told the band to do everything the same. So Freddie purposely screwed with the continuity by wearing the short shorts and hat with red scarf the 2nd night encore. And when he is wearing his t-shirt one min it's tucked in the next it's out and then tucked back in. (2 nights footage).
And for the record, drugs do absolutely nothing for creativity. Many, many people think they do, particularly when they're using them, but on the whole, no. Especially on acid. As a famous prosecutor once said, "A group of people on acid couldn't organise a trip to the bathroom."
drugs do a lot for creativity.... I have written my best music on acid and could find the bathroom with easy... keep that mask on and be afraid...
@@fredtello Very good! I'll keep the mask, but I fear nothing.
@@cainealexander-mccord2805 clearly you fear covid
Rock you was one of Brians
This is talent induced only.
Their catalog lol
I love Queen, however I have recently discovered a band you might like. The best way I can describe them is a rap/metal band from Belize (to me they have Jamaican accents), they are called Verge of Umbra. You should check them out.
React to queen - keep yourself alive live in montreal
😂 👑 🎸 🎵
Brian May wrote Dragon Attack, but Mercury sold it. I don’t believe they used drugs to write their songs, it was the times (70s).
Roger doing a VERY impressive build up. You: look at Freddie move his leg. 🙄
U should react to some Australian rap or drill
I bet Roger the drummer was high
Didn't Brian May write this one ?
Freddie didn't write all the songs either!
Insult to say the only way to be creative is thru drugs!Sure they partied, but separated it from their raw talent! Not all great bands use drugs to write songs & perfom!
Well you just did no this is classic Freddy they did not use acid what the hell is wrong with you just not used to real talent stop it
I must say you do not need to sing. Sorry but your singing voice is not a good sound. No disrespect to you just your signing. 😱🤣🤣 No drugs. Every now and then music genius are born Freddie was one of them. Look at the videos that tells about his life. Freddie mother said at an early age he always wanted to sing and often at family gathering he did.
How about some more Queen 🫠Do Live Aid . It’s only 19 minutes long and known as the best in history. 1.9 Billion watching from around the world 1/4 of the world at that time. 72,000 Attendance . They made 24 million for famine in Africa .
