- You have seen me share and install a plethora of insane Smart Home products throughout 2018. Don’t get me wrong - I love installing and upgrading our household consistently and not to mention insanely grateful BUT sometimes I am just not that motivated. I decided to flip the second thermostat into a challenge for my dude to show him just how easy it is and that he can do it too! He definitely surprised me to say the least. Thank you Home Depot for continuing to upgrade our home where we were totally missing out!

You sold me, our utility is selling these for $89 plus a $100 bill credit so it’s basically free, and I couldn’t decide between this one and the ecobee 3, I like the backlight and big screen
What is it with charging more for colors, it’s the biggest rip off 😫 congratulations on getting things done. I just replaced my taillight harnesses on my truck. Since my man passed away in 06, I’ve been learning to do things on my own and having fun doing it.
The white one is on sale but OG price is the same as the black. Sorry to hear about your loss but stoked you are having fun learning new things.

Just installed this. The Apple homekit was so frustrating. Literally added hours to install. Eventually linked up.
I followed all the steps but it didnt turn on when I connected the face plate on, any ideas?

Nevermind looks like all I had to do was remove the faceplate give it some downtime like 5 minutes and then I put it back together and voila it works again

Everytime I set up, it still says no internet on the app
This thing always gave me issues too if you didn't have the right type of Wi-Fi

I'm looking at getting rid of my honeywell and possibly getting this one. I have some questions I hope you can answer. 1) How many settings does this unit have for fan control? How many setting are there for the 7 day programming? Eg, wake, leave, back home and sleep?
Truth be told - I couldn't tell you off the top of my head. The link should have all that info! Bummed I didn't include that in this review or even check it out honestly. You've inspired me haha.

I believe so! I can't recall since I don't live here anymore.
Big home network security risk, you are basically giving the vendor “Emberson-Sensi” remote access to everything on your home network, not only your thermostat but all your devices even your baby monitor. More importantly, you have no way of seeing the sensi cloud connection that is setup between them and your router.
Ask yourself why your sen|si wifi thermostat connection need to go through the vendor cloud and back to your network. This is call a MAN in THE Middle attack only your giving them permission to do it.
You should start a podcast channel...

Oh that's so weird! I've called their customer service line before and they've walked me through network issues.
Thank you I had to reset the app and clear my wifi network that fixed the issue.
