I happen to have two complete A/C units, and they are being installed now (4/23/2021). Do I need to wait until they are both installed to program them? ...as opposed to programming them one at a time, as they are installed?
So I got a question for you after when I set up my Wi-Fi thermostat that I’m able to use the service manual also or I have to choose one of the options which is Wi-Fi or manual that make sense ? let me know please thanks
Your video was by far the best one out there. For one whole year we were trying to connect to Wi-Fi. We search for Emerson App, not one in sight. The worst part, the previous owner glued the panel to the wall, we couldn’t detached the panel. Once we saw your video, we took a chance and pull the panel box down and took off the glued. Your step-by-step was the best, within 15 min. we were instantly connected to Wi-Fi and setting up the App. Who would have known the App was under Sensi and not Emerson. Much appreciated.

So where do you change the O/B setting? My heat turns on when cooling is asked for.
Does this have a occupancy sensor and automatically turn things down to save energy?

Nice explanation, but I wish you tour have more info about setting automatic heat-pump and emergency/suxiliary electric furnace below a certain degree.

I have this thermostat and it's been working fine until yesterday. The air works but when I switch to heat it says it's heating but the furnace doesn't come on . Any ideas?

This isn’t installation, it’s app configuration. What people are looking for is a smart thermostat that can work without a C wire, this one is recommended.

Yup! As long as you connect it to the unit.
No it doesn't. You cannot set a schedule without going into the app in case someone else needs to know

Does it have a lock mode so others can't change it?
Sure does! In system settings there is a control that you can activate to lock thermostat display disabling all buttons on the thermostat for control only through the app.

When I get as far as connecting Sensi it says no internet connection . I have disconnect and restarted and still the same explanation . HELP
Thanks a lot for the video we just moved into new house and we have this thermostat .. The previous owner has put password for sensi to connect .. In settings, Wifi , connect to sensi option, it is asking for password please let me know if you know the answer
Hi! I would contact Sensi. It was super easy for us when we had to do it. All they asked for was a pic of the back of your unit. It’s registered to the old owner so they need to register it to you before you can modify any of the settings(WiFi). You can see how to change it here after you get registered in the link below. I missed the setup procedure with Alexa.
Do you know if someone else in the house could connect to the thermostat via WiFi and start changing the temperatures? Or would it not allow anyone else to mess with it besides the original person whos connected to it? I have a family member who likes being an asshole and controlling the temperature and removing down buttons on my current thermostat stat so no one but him can even turn the temperature below 74, which is why I ordered this thermostat to replace the old one. Just seeing if you might know if he would be able to keep messing with the temperature through the wifi or not. Thanks
Don’t connect it to Alexa and don’t share your log in information and you’ll be good.
@@BrickBuildingKids gotcha. I don't even have Alexa and definitely won't be sharing log in information. Just asking sure they can't make an account and use their account.

How to get Alexa to do it by just voice??
On the phone app first page clicked the menu buttons and click smart integrations. From there you can select the smart device you are using to add it to control.

You connect it to your home Wi-Fi not sensi Wi-Fi
ummm you're missing the actual settings
To bad it’s dark not a single flick of color.
I don’t like this an app controlling the temperature in my house. Is it Monitoring when I’m home or not feels like uninvited guest in my house. What about if someone Hacks the Wifi does that give them control over the temperature of your house. That could be potentially dangerous.
