  • Waves StudioRack is a powerful plugin that can help you get the most out of your audio mixing. In this video, we'll discuss four reasons why you should be using StudioRack in every session. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, this video will show you how StudioRack can help you get better results.
    First off, we'll discuss the addition of VST3 plugins to StudioRack. You are no longer stuck using only Waves plugins. This opens up so many possibilities.
    Secondly, we will talk about how the Waves StudioRack can organize your sessions. Imagine only having to use one insert per track when mixing. This will keep sessions decluttered and easy to navigate through.
    Thirdly, imagine being able to create a multiband processor of your choice using any plugin you have. StudioRack will let you do this in a few simple steps. You can even mix and match plugins to create something completely custom to your taste.
    Lastly, you can do all your parallel processing within StudioRack. There is no need to create or send a copy of the track, you can do it all inside the plugin by creating independent flows. This feature is a huge time saver.
    The Waves StudioRack is absolutely FREE and worth the time downloading. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message in the comment section below. Happy Mixing!

    No idea how long StudioRack has been around but I'm mad at myself for not using it for however long it's been since it's release!
    I've always wanted a way to experiment with vocal chains created by other people. I've developed my own vocal chain over the
    years just off trial and error. Took me awhile to really dial in my sound and I've always wanted to see how others would create
    their own vocal chains but it's always been kept secret and I could never find anything online that often. I'd love to experiment
    with the same vocal chain artists like The Weeknd, Joyner Lucas, Eminem etc. use. Mine sounds pretty solid these days but I
    know there's ones out there that would blow mine away and would help keep me inspired.

      To fully utilize this, unless you own most of the Waves plugins, you will need to get the Studioverse subscription. Here is a link to it: geni.us/waves-studioverse

    Greetings.
    Could someone tell me why it doesn't detect any of my vst3? :(
    Scanning individually, the default folder or in any way, it always says "0 pluggins scanned" 🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @topdazzle
      @topdazzle Рік тому

      Did you scan for them? If you did, you may need to tell it where your plugin master folder is on your PC / laptop.

      No, only VST. As long as you have been installing both types (AAX and VST3) as you've been buying plugins, you will be all good to go.

    All these features are built into Reaper... No need for a 3rd party plug-in that won't intergrade that well... Most like it's a bit glitchy & causes lots of crashes... Plus this only works for vst3 plugins

    • @mixedbymarquxse_
      @mixedbymarquxse_ Рік тому

      Well not everyone has reaper or wants to use it so this is a definitely an alternative for users who want to use VST3 plugins in daws that don't support that

    A reason not to use it; I found it to be a CPU hog with a few plugins and macros going...

    • @AudioSorcerer
      @AudioSorcerer  Рік тому

      Do you think it might be the macros? I haven't tested them yet.

      @@AudioSorcerer It could be, that and the fact I was using H-Reverb in the chain.. Its a great plugin to be fair Im just unhappy about it taking 1/8 - 1/4 cpu power

    Meh…I can see the value of this if you’re trying to establish your work flow, but I don’t see anything here if you’re trying to improve it.

    Waves are the least good sounding plugins. Mostly EQ trickery and all the money goes to marketing instead of the developers. Try real audio plugins
