Creek fishing , the Greenville Creek , Stillwater Creek, Honey Creek , lower Mad River south of I 70, most of all tributaries into Great Miami River have good Smallmouth bass populations
It definitely was one of the best smallmouth creeks I've been to. Still trying to find a good creek with both largemouth and smallmouth in good numbers.
Nice video, and some nice chunky smallies caught.im.new here and Liking the channel bro !! Be careful with that hand brother !!! Throw a bread bag on it and keep it dry!! Looking forward to the next video...peace !
Sir that's what's up your a " HARDCORE FISHERMAN " for sure. I knew when I seen your channel I was going to enjoy it and man was I right. Sir you do the kind of fishing my kiddos and me love to do just some good ol ultralight fishing gear and a great time. We live on a lake I have three kiddos and we live to fish and love to fish. But haven't done alot cause a while back somebody stoled all of my kiddos fishing stuff alone with mine and some other stuff so it has been hard getting us back to fishing. I'm sure people on here are like how is it so hard well my wife has narcolepsy so I'm a stay at home dad and take care of her and the kiddos but I wouldn't have it any other way. We live month and make it but it is hard to get new fishing stuff when that's not like a bill to pay or food to buy. But we have gotten a few things from youtubers and Instagram pepz. But sir I want you to know you just show us it don't take much to get out and fish and my kiddos and I love the channel and the content you put out so thanks. It is like a hey don't let life control you take what it gives you and run with it so thanks. And hope you get well sir sorry to hear about your hand but stuff like that your not letting it stop you from doing what you love so thanks and appreciate all you do and go through making these awesome videos for us to all enjoy. Well till next's trip GodBless and Tight Lines.
I'm glad you guys enjoy the videos. My hand is an extraordinarily minor inconvenience compared to other injuries haha. You have a very similar outlook on life as me. I hope you can find some time to get back on the water with your family. God bless and tight lines!
I've mainly switched to some smaller baits for the creeks. Some of these are 1.0 crankbaits, 3" swimbaits, rooster tails, hellgramites, and other ned rig baits. These would work in pre spawn too, but I'm more likely to upsize a little then. It also depends on the size creek you're going to and the size fish you're going for. I tend to use more baits that catch all sizes of bass easily. I hope this helps!
@@creeksforweeks5690 appreciate it bud. Broll is super fun to shoot. The drone part always makes me anxious hahah. Every time it loses signal to my cell, my heart sinks. hahah
Love your vids. they take me back to my younger days fishing the creeks of Ind. I don't fish anymore; I would love to share some of my lures with you. How can I get them to you?
I'll keep making them so it can feel like you're out there again! I believe I will need to open a PO box in order to get stuff sent to me. That is something I will look into and mention in the next video. I would love to try out your baits and feature them so I will let you know how to send them in the future.
@@cobblegilll I do not give out specific locations anymore out of respect for the people that fish those waterways. I want to limit how much fishing pressure happens, especially in creeks. I truly appreciate the viewership on this channel, but I do not want to cause certain areas to become "unfishable".
I responded to your earlier comment on another video. I haven't made any yet for this channel so I need to get on that here soon. It's been a busy year.
Bro, nice day on the creek catching some creek fish! I’m always amazed by the smallies that linger around in those creeks. Blessings, Rob
Thats an incredibly productive day Man! NICE ✌️ 🎣
Nice fish! Props to respecting the geese 🪿 🤙🏽

Love the vids. Keep up the great work
Dont know if you've been back here, but go 1-2 miles above the falls. Some tanks up there.
Great day on the water! Great video... gotta love all that action!

How is your hand? I sometimes wear a glove when I catching bluegill and green sunfish because of the sharp fins.
All good now. This was about 3-4 weeks ago so the stitches are out and the wound is healed. The fin ended up being a couple millimeters long.
Heck yeah gut out a smally fishing trip. Caught a bunch in classic areas, swim baits were a great choice for that. Soldier on bro
Thank You! Almost to spring 🙏

You can catch fish anywhere in Dayton. Where there is water there are fishes 🎣
Pretty funny how you didn’t mind getting attacked by geese so long as they waited till you caught that bass😂
Love your channel man!
Thank You!
YEAHHHH! New video!

Hey man, what baits have you switched to mostly? since we appear to be post spawn early summer now.

Thanks a lot! Wish I would've gotten it through the mouth. I need to get my B-roll game close to yours haha.

I'm surprised there were no fish just below the falls, it looked like a sweet spot.
Me too! It may have been a little too pressured. I also didn't try many lures. I may try that spot again when the weather gets a little colder.
Hocking Hills I assume?
Which state park is that??
I can't give away the exact location, but it is in Ohio.
They count em in the bassmaster
Nice video i live in ohio what creek is that
Thank you! I can't disclose the exact location, but it was public access.
@@creeksforweeks5690what do you mean it's public access but you can't say why can you not say?
