The Softer Side of Massive X

- Here I go playing through some of my favorite Massive X presets. I specifically looked for presets that reminded me of the D-50, the Wavestation, and anything resembling those late 80s digital synths. Had no idea Massive could do that, but YES it can!

Wow you really got the D-50 and Wavestation vibes here. And these sound much nicer even because there aren't heavily compressed PCMs
It does D-50 sounds really well. I even use it instead of my real D-50 for D-50 sounds.
Thanks for sharing these. I really like Massive X. I think in time, as the ragequit energy of the Before Times fades, and we realize how amazing it was just to have the embarrassment of riches and wonders that we do up to now for us all to make music with... I think Massive X will experience a bit of a humble resurgence and rediscovery. Your showcase here is a signpost on that journey.
Thanks - I've been using it more since I did this video. All Massive X needed was some attention. It got lost in my endless sea of synths. Forgotten, it is no longer!
I think its a wonderful synth. Shortcommings? Yes, but show me the synth that has none. It is crystal clear and very inventive. I used to pay many hundreds if not thousands of bucks for hardware that could do a tenth of this one alone, let alone all the otherz I have bought.
@@garyhendrie4001 Exactly.
Everyone seems to complain about what different synths are missing, when they could just pick one and concentrate on creating amazing patches like these ones.
Nice 👍
Some of these aren't available in my copy from NI. Hummmm.🤔 But great inspiration and finds. Thank you.
Some are most likely from the expansions.
Please tell me where can I find these presets??? I especially liked the very first preset!
Howdy Hurricane, I made a big ole bank of presets for Massive X, and I was wondering if you could do a review of them? I can send them to your email if possible. Thanks
Send me an email with details and a description of your sounds and I'll get back to you.
@@LincolnHawkMusic sure thing, what's a good email to reach you at.
