There are some more improvements I’d also recommend like the Dreamcast models and lighting mods that fix the in game visuals, the Volume Controls mod that allows you to level out the Music, SFX and Voices in gameplay and cutscenes separately, and Hedgepanel which has some toggle-able improvements to Sonic & Shadows move sets, namely fixing the broken railgrinding in the HD port
you know what also fixes the broken railgrinding in the HD port and makes it more accurate to the way that railgrinding worked in sa2? going into settings > controller > general controller settings > calibrate and moving the deadzone slider all the way down. i still prefer modern railgrinding to the actual sa2 railgrinding though as I'm probably never gonna get used to using the complicated railgrinding in sa2 so i just keep hedgepanel on.
"Sonic Adventure 2: Battle still hindered Sonic Adventure 2's lasting impression on the general gaming space." This is actually not true. Most people never played the original Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure 2, as it only sold about 500,000 copies worldwide. Battle on the other hand, sold over a million copies worldwide by August 2002. Secondly, critical reception of SA2 Battle was largely positive among the fanbase in the early 2000s. IDK if you remember, but back in 2002-2004ish SA2 Battle was almost everyone's favorite 3D Sonic game. It was only around the late 2000s/early 2010s, where it started to get less favorable reception.
Btw when you get this make sure to get the hedgehog panel mod and enable the instant spindash and roll on b codes and in hedgepanel enable everything unless you dont Want to
So good! I can't wait for Sonic Heroes next! And if you need help for the mods I know someone (Raphael Drew Boltman) who helped me setting the mods and gave me the whole BetterHeroes modpack and it looks awesome.
I’d say these videos are somewhat outdated due to the release of SA Mod Manager. Basically it’s a successor to the SADX & SA2 Mod Installers that works for both games (kinda like HedgeModManager for Generations and Frontiers).

while its nice that theres a semi recent video. usually its nice to cater to the shmucks who dont do this on the regular and show a walkthrough. its like someone looking for spanish lessons and finding a video telling them to take spanish lessons.
...the website tells you how to install mods, though. Just download the mod loader click the links and there you go lol. This game and SA1 probably has the easiest modding ever
Fast pace, less than 10 minutes, straight to the point. This is how we UA-cam, also Sonc be fast
I do not mind longer videos on how to setup stuff, so long as there are *timestamps* that allow me to jump straight into I want to know
i love this channel, straight to the point without the 7 extra minutes feeling like ur watching absoulutly nothing
I like how simple this is, no unnecessary padding just some history, what Mod Loader you need and some base mods.

You're too underrated, keep it up

First lol. So far so good on the video. Quality as always 😊
Great vid
Thanks for the mod recommendations
I am learning so much 👀
finally, a good mod order for SA2 without any outdated mods
good video ol' chap 👾
Awesome vid
Looking forward to that sonic heroes retrospective
I waited 2 weeks for this...
and I've been waiting for a lifetime- banger content!!

there's a bunch of mods you could include, cutscene revamp and hd gui won't fix everything.
I think SA2 is better played at 50FPS as this makes the cutscenes are slower and the characters don’t cut each other off
Keep up the great work😁

I guess the reason error loading Bass issue its already solved
Cudos to Everyone who Revived SA1 and SA2...

when i use that, the sa1 mods appear and not the sa2 mods
@@bluebellsforever switch to sa2
What do you after downloading it? Just extract to the folder where the game is installed?

game crashes when mod loader is installed. is there a solution?
idk if anyones said this but both the cutscene revamp and hd gui links lead to cutscene revamp
Oh, wow, they do. Just fixed it. Sorry about that!
Good to know I'm not the only one annoyed by people saying "Battle 2" over "2 Battle"
I made a mod for it, Subtitle Fixing, for the story mode.
The biggest problem is that the 2012 version sucksass
Legitimately on the pc version it randomly freezes for me now
Can You Please Or Anybody Please Help Me Get The SA2LOADER Everytime iDownload it it it Downloads As A txt Not A File To Extract
