Ok I was a bit skeptical going into this video but wow this is awesome. Imagine going camping or hiking and having an entire meal that can be heated and made in like 15-20 minutes with absolutely no fire or electricity. Awesome stuff ^_^
@@xitlaltepec Because a self cooking meal sounds like the borderline magical stuff you'd see on a cheap tv channel ad, I'm not the OP but I guess thats what he thought.
I'm surprised that more instant food companies don't do this. The military has been doing stuff like this for years with their MRE's. Also the meal shown at 5:02 looks a lot like Filipino caldereta (basically beef stew with rice). :)
Love how at @2:40 suddenly a birdy pops up in the background😄 Have tried these self heating meals years ago in trains in Japan (but those were way simpler meals than in this vid) and now I do see them in Chinatown supermarkets but they are kinda pricey over here in Europe.😅 Will try it though, love to make my co-workers jealous with yummie warm meals😆
Yay!! So happy to "see" y'all tonight!! Today's been pretty blah, so the timing is perfect!! Thank you for another video, and I hope you both (and anyone reading this) have a wonderful weekend!! Sending love as always, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! 💙😘🥰💙
I noticed you let that beach cook scene play out from 56 seconds instead of speeding it up, was a lovely shot and super relaxing to watch. It was the right editing choice, great job!
When life gets me down, I usually watch Dancing Bacons videos, they are always positive, not that much chatter going on and always seems to be a nice silent environment, no matter the place where they are in the world they make it peaceful and pleasant. It makes me happy during tough times and relaxes me when I decide to watch it at night or for my own time to relax and unwind, Thank You Dancing Bacons for your content 💙
These types of videos are always my comfort and go-to when life just hits me like a trainwreck. It's a wonderful way to forget everything and just relax, as the no commentary is something I personally enjoy atop the fact that food is my favorite love language! Thank you, love from the US ❤️
Yes, Hi is a very famous restaurant in China. They have a big product line, hot pots and really tasty sauces. But restaurant too fancy 😁 thank you for video! And hello from Sichuan!
i had these all the time travelling and they were so good! No stove, with only cold water from the washroom sink. Super filling meal, the ones I had were all too oily for me, but tasted just like a homemade meal! Very good, wish I could get these easier where I live.
after watching some related videos about self-heating meals, i seriously wanna buy and try one if i got the chance ☺🥺 thank you for this wonderful content today, actually i'm hungry for this morning hakhak
They are expensive in the US. Almost $12 for the one from Hi lol. I saw it while shopping at my favorite Asian market last time. But it would be fun to try it once out camping.
@@jkjordon1 ive only found them occasionally at the asian market. Here in michigan they have a few in lansing and grand rapids for sure and over by flint there is a big H mart that might have them. Your best friend is Google and seeing if there are any good Asian markets near you. I hope this helps a bit. I cant buy them often only because I can't do spicy yet. Most tend to be spicy hotpot flavors. I do know you can buy the heating packets off of Amazon but you'd still need the pots. Occasionally you can go to military surplus and nab some of the big self heating rations but normally you got to buy by the case and oof! The price is daunting.
One of my grandkiddos favorite parks to get food and just play is right by the big international Airport. They love watching the planes take off and land lol.
I wish we had these in the US, it would be great for college students or camping trips, or when the power goes out. Either way, amazing video, thank you, DancingBacons!
I believe we don't have them in the US because of laws about preserved or unrefrigerated meat that prevent them from being sold here. It sucks, but I think I saw those heating packets at my store recently at least which is cool
I love how you stopped the fast forward so we could appreciate the bird and the plane you got to see. You are incredibly perceptive and kind. Thank you so much for sharing.
ive been watching your videos for a while now, I gotta say I have never been more hungry in my life like I could eat a 5 star full course meal and still have my mouth watering when I see your videos

It's nice to see another beach video, it reminds me of the first video I watched of yours 2 years ago (the self heating spicy hot pots one). Love the sound of the waves
Watching your awesome videos make me so hungry!! And I love the background noise, wind, birds, maybe waves. Thank you for the great content and keep up the good work!
Normally your video's make me hungry so I make sure I've eaten before or while I'm watching them. This one was so relaxing, my stomach forgot to speak up until I'm writing a comment. Love the scenery, and you stopping for the bird walking by, then the plane. Nice job, I love it!
These remind me of the same chemical reaction that takes place in USA MRE's. This is a goldmine for any prospective company in the "instant food" industry!
I always love the soundscapes you end up with in the videos almost by accident. the beach here is lovely (even with that sneaky lil birb!), and when you have a thunderstorm on one of your convenience/try x foods videos on the porch it's always a treat
Fun fact, the US military and other militaries in the world has the same style of heating packet in their MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) for when soldiers are in the fields and need warm food. You can also find similar heating packs for recreational use in the sporting/camping section in some walmarts and Dicks sporting goods store.
I would love to see something like this sold in convenient stores in America. I could totally see this used for camping trips, beach trips, etc.
If you're near a 99 Ranch Market you can sometimes find some of these in the same aisle as the instant noodles.
