As a Brit, I laughed aloud at seeing M&S brands, as its a British chain of shops, and they're known for selling luxury goods that are usually twice the price as a regular shop. I currently live in China, and I was pleasantly surprised to find an M&S in Shanghai. Lovely fact to learn that they're in Singapore too! Thanks for another great video!
I was about to say the exact same thing!
Tesco used to be in Asia and was a lifeline for things like tea, biscuits, branston pickle and so on. Every time I visit Malaysia, Singapore or Thailand I always bring a suitcase full of goodies back.
@@DirtyRobot Thats right! And, they have a Tesco in in the Fujian province of China, I got a wonderful shock to see it there in a shopping centre called Wanda Plaza :)
Same ha ha but the ravioli isna geest choice one if my faves when the meals are four for £10
Marks & Spencer? I’ve heard it’s a nice place to get 2 for 1 pants when they’re on sale. British meaning of pants, not American 😊
Don't boil ready to eat soups. It breaks down the ingredients which are already cooked. You just need to gently warm it to just boiling point. You can see in the video the chowder just starting split, and that's because it brought to a rapid rolling boil.
It already was if you look at it while it was packaged.
I remember looking at the package thinking "I hope that isn't chowder because it's already ruined".
@@GeorgeMonet I agree. Chowder is not the best kind of soup to put into those packets. It's a king among soups (if it can even be called a soup) and deserves more respectful handling. Nothing nicer than a beautiful chowder.
And prawn on microwave :'c
@@snowysnowyriver how does it taste
Thank u for this tip! I literally just made canned chowder and I always wonder why mine spits 😭 i do bring mine to a boil, didn’t know you aren’t supposed to do that, I thought splitting was the nature of all canned chowders
I did NOT expect to see Mark’s and Spencer’s in Singapore, wow. It’s a UK brand originally. Some tasty looking food here!
I like their chorizo. I had a chance to visit UK and bought chorizo at M&S. Very delicious
M&S has got the former British Empire pretty well covered
There’s M&S everywhere
Yep it's common in india too
I love Marks and Spencer’s. When I used to live in China, I would take a boat or bus over to Hong Kong and I would buy food from marks and Spencer’s. To bad they don’t have any around where I live now
I wish I lived where you live. Then I’d be trying something new everyday!
He lives in Singapore
@@sarikakapsime9024 *she
@@The_HealingSpace He* and his wife.
@@The_HealingSpace nhi that's he, she is his girlfriend or wife
So they don't have anything new to try everyday where you live? Have you tried every single thing you're area has to offer? Lol
Can’t believe some of this stuff is more expensive than a home cooked meal
sUs
Thank you Zhong Xina
price of convenience.
@NiggaNiggaNi ? We're not china
It’s probably more for the packaging than the food.
I'm shocked this is your first time trying ravioli! It is the best especially when freshly made in an Italian restaurant. The kind you got were big!
Looks Tasty!! How it is ?
Is it like lasagna?
Im in Britain and i have this loads of times and a love it! Its very tasty, but does not taste like lasagna. Overall really darn nice
@@officialdoggodoge how’s the weather their?
I prefer tortellini myself.
I love ravioli and those looks really good. They are usually filled with ricotta cheese and Mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. You can make them yourself like a half circle dumpling.
Boiling a steak like that should be considered a warcrime...
I like my steak well done and even I thought that steak was done dirty.
nornally steak boiled is done in a souvee and then seared to add colour and flavour, its not bad as it keeps the meat more tender but takes a lot more work to get right
@@Sniper5875 i think u mean sous vide 😭
boiled steak for dinner
@@mmmtastyalidzie2435 yeah, french words be damned....
I really enjoy all the different things you show. Kind of like traveling without leaving home. Thank you very much.
ETA.. was anyone else wishing for malt vinegar for the fish and chips.
Yes,especially when they dipped it ketchup!! 🤮
Malt vinegar and lots of salt
@@buffya8012 ah, that wasn't ketchup! that's garlic chili sauce from McDonald's in SG :)
I thought the fish needed a squeeze of lemon since that's how we have takeaway fish in Australia! :)
@@mariblue72 Interesting. I did not know that. Thank you.
Thanks for reviewing them since I probably won’t ever have any of those 😂 I still enjoy your videos nevertheless though
If the food packet gives me the option to cook using an oven, i always use the oven. I always find that microwave cooking makes the food too soggy and doesn't taste very good
Or rubbery and overcooked
One of the few things I actually prefer to be microwaved is bagel bites. They get too hard and crispy in the oven and in the microwave they're softer and can typically be eaten in one bite without worrying about tearing up the roof of your mouth
@@cupcake_whale i've never tried them before, actually not to sure if they are available in the uk but we do have pizza pockets which i do like
@@cupcake_whale you know. Your are right! I forgot those lol. They become little round scratchy hockey pucks in the oven or air fryer lol. My grandkiddos prefer them and pizza bites in the microwave 😆
@@cupcake_whale I like to microwave the frozen white castle burgers vs using the oven, since they get crunchy and crunchy buns are... Not always pleasant.
this is one of my new favorite channels i randomly found on the internets.
i am introvert, so i enjoy this
thank you!! ^___^ very entertaining
Welcome
She even has her logo on the microwave so cute🥰
Her logo is everywhere in her house 😂
A little tip for cooking steak, a sous vide cooker would be great to use. They will cook the steak perfectly :)
personally I would have after boiling them, taken them out and placed them in a rocket hot pan to give them a good sear.
Sous vide machines tend to be around on the 150-200$ price range, so they can get a lil pricey
Those machines also do not produce any browning or caramelization of the meat. But everyone has different tastes.
@@anniekinsmishkamouse7575 you use sous vides to cook the steak throughly after that, they sear the steak for the crust
@@namthangr Thank you. On all the cooking shows I have seen they just plate it as is. This sounds better.
That eel looks really good for a convenience store meal
Selalu nungguin aneka jajanan dari Dancing Bacon.... konten menarik tanpa banyak omong...suka banget! Sukses Dancing Bacon!!!
Ada indo donggggg
Wkwkwkw gw kira gw doang orang indo yang nonton
Here in Scotland we also refer to them as chips. Scots usually call fish & chips a fish supper. As much as I love M&S food you really need to try a chippy here in the UK.
Thank you for the surprise greeting at the end, Mrs. Bacons! It's always a treat when you are in a video, I love your reactions!
I'm worried when food is marketed as YOLO. Will it be my last meal?
Lol
😂😅
You need salt & vinegar plus a side of mushy peas for the fish & chips!
that unagi looks so yummy, because asian food is rarer here ungai is so pricy at a restaurant or shop, so 40 dollars for the whole eel and sauce is really good, thatd be a nice meal for 2 that can be done at home, easy and looks like it tasted great
Oh my goodness! Miss Bacon is too adorable at the end of the video! Another lovely video. Everything looked tasty! I still prefer grilled steaks vs boiled 😊
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm grateful for your friendly and interesting videos. When a day is hard, and i come home to a Bacons and Mrs Bacons video, it is instantly made better. Thank you. 💙
I just love your videos! I adored seeing you at the end with your special message too! Thank you both for such great content!
Usually all the food in these videos are unknown to me as a Brit, so to see Marks and Spencer’s food is very funny!
At least I learned that you can use cling wrap in the microwave. I always thought it would cause some plastic poison thing.
These wraps probably have high heat tolerances to be rendered safe for microwaving. But still, do not overuse them fit just any microwave task, just in case......
I thought it would melt😫
I absolutely love 💕 this series of quick meals.please keep them going 🙏🏽
Wow! Super expensive for the amount you get on some. Thanks for sharing.
1:45 The sound of the knife on the slate plate made my brain hurt.
Wow, you have Marks and Spencers (M&S) in Singapore? M&S was founded near where I live (As Marks and Spenser's Penny Bazaar) in Newcastle Grainger Market. I had no idea they had an international presence.
Ofc they do... it's all over the ex-colonies
Love the content! Keep up the great work and thanks for keeping us curious! 😍
this made me happy. Happy thanksgiving to you both also.
Wow, everything looks amazingly scrumptious.. Some prices are insane but for a one time treat, I’d try it….
💜💙❤️💚💛🧡
Happy Thanksgiving Bacon! We're thankful for your great videos to watch before bed!
Awh! It was so nice to hear one of you talk! I was so surprised! Happy thanksgiving ❤️
Thank you for showing
It's been so long since I've had unagi since it can get so expensive, but seeing it in this video just reminds me of how good it tastes... Gotta resist the craving haha
I loooooove unagi so much but it’s so expensive 😭 and when it’s offered at restaurants it’s usually the most expensive option. I crave unagi over a bowl of rice, the sauce its glazed with is to die for. Maybe I’ll get it when I eat out next time seeing that the unagi at the store itself is $30, getting it a restaurant may be worth it
Unagi is seriously not that great. Give me tuna or salmon over it.
@@englishatheart You’re weird as hell. No one cares what you like more. These two people were talking about how much they love unagi.
Why dont go out to the ocean and catch them urself ? HAHA.... Its not that hard and they will be even fresher and tastier then ever .... Its TONNS of them out in the sea.... for free.... =)
Marks and Spencer do decent food, but the best fish and chips is at my local chippy 😁
Chips and fries are not quite the same, chips are meant to be thicker, with that fluffy inside, and lovely with a touch of salt and some malt vinegar.
Great, now I’m hungry! Need a big mug of tea to go with it and you’re set.☕️🥔🐟
I only know mark and spencer only sell clothing 🤣
I love this expensive convenience store series. I hope to see more videos like this
Awwww, she is too sweet🥰. Always love watching these videos❤❤
They may have been expensive but boy there was some delicious looking stuff in the one NOM NOM NOM
I love your videos and your wife's reactions, happy thanksgiving from Veracruz, México
I work in an M&S store and have been watching your UA-cam for ages!! Was so pleasantly surprised❤️❤️
Another Awesome video !! and Thanks for the Holiday wishes, You Guys are Fantastic and Thankful your around !!! 😍🥓🌟👍
Love your videos. Thank you!!!
Love the video, Hope you and the Mrs. Had a good Thanksgiving 💙🥰🦃
The Chowder and those fish and chips look delicious 😋 ooh the ravioli looks yummy as well!!
The Eel looks very delicious too!
Omg, the way she gets excited over good tasting food, she is the cutest !!
Who is she
Happy Thanksgiving you guys! Love you both!
The best food-tester on UA-cam. Thanks for youre Videos. A Fan from Austria.
Unagi is one of my favourite dishes but it's hard to find here in the US. The one you bought looked so tasty!
Is it not served on japanese food restaurants?
@@elbertlim2872 We don't really have many of those here unfortunately. I live in a very small town in Indiana.
I hope u can find any Asian markets in Indiana! Japanese, Korean or Chinese super markets usually have frozen packaged ones. I’ve seen them at h mart , tho the price is usually like $30 just like in the video🥲 I sadly always pass on it for the high price but I love unagi so much
@@YukaAkemi I'll definitely be looking again soon. We have some Asian restaurants that serve it, but only as a sushi roll lol. Still delicious!
Looked nasty to me. I personally don't care for eel.
Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for all the wonderful videos, a nice look into life from a different view!
Hello from Tokyo Japan ❤️
Everyone have a nice weekend 🥰
Wait tf, marks and Spencer’s have food outside the uk??!? I am absolutely flabbergasted mate.
Yours videos are so relaxing... Thank you so much ❤
Wow you have M&S other there, we have in the the UK…it’s considered a high end food shop with v high end ready meals.
I smiled when you whipped out the garlic chili sauce for the chips!
Love the different cooking methods. And kudos on that spotless oven.
Great video as usual.
Would be great if you can add either the store address or online links to buy and try out the food
I remember the four cheese raviolis from here in the UK, I used to have those daily for like a month.
Loved seeing you try a British dish, and from M&S, too! M&S food has something of a reputation for being fairly good quality, though you pay for what you get. I'm glad you enjoyed the fish and chips, and with tomato ketchup, too, which is how quite a number of us do!
Unagi looked good now I want some
I have been watching your channel for about 2 years now and its so weird yet delightful to see you try British food (I am English)!!
SHE SPEAKS!!! Lol Thank you for another yummy looking video 👍👍😎🇨🇦
Ohh! That last meal looked pretty good! Happy Thanksgiving to you too :)!!!
The joy of watching someone discover ravioli for the very first time. Thank you for that.🥰😍🙏🏻💕
Prices are pretty comparable to what we pay in California.
Aww, Happy Thanksgiving to the fantastic Dancing Bacons! I'm thankful for these fun videos :)
??
Nobody outside the us celebrates thanksgiving. No one. It's an American thing.
jane 86 My god why are you so pressed?? Girls just saying happy thanksgiving back, did you not watch the end of the video? And before you say anything, I'm not even American.
omg those lava buns look so good 🤤
Looks so yummy I love watching your video's
The chowder looked good. I'd be tempted to add more seafood. Its funny usually the British like batter dipped fish but the Queen, likes her breaded with bread crumbs. lol
Aww such a sweetheart.. Happy Thanksgiving to you both as well... ❤️
Love it!
You're a good explainer. I love it 😍😍😍😍😍
The burger and soup would be my favs :D loved the video.
Happy thanksgiving to you too!!! Loved that!!!
your videos makes my day better ;,)
I really enjoyed this video. Happy Thanksgiving!
An easier to easier way to keep them drying up in the microwave is to add a glass that is about ¼ filled with water.
It also works for foods like pizza 🍕
Doesn't always work the best, though. Sometimes things still get dried and hard despite the steam.
Love all your videos.
Always enjoy your videos!
Such a great video!
Thanks for a great video. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.
I love it ❤️❤️ so yummy
Happy thanksgiving to you too, I wanna see more videos & thumbs up & 5 stars :)
Thank you so much 😘 you are the best vlogers for showing us the different kinds of food and stuff .....
Hey, I’m from Singapore and love your reviews of stuff we can get here. Keep it up ✨💪💪
Happy Thanksgiving to you DancingBacons! Thank you.
Bloody hell you guys have M&S products over there?!? Always good eats with them
Happy thanksgiving💜love your videos
Thanks for the Thanksgiving goodbye.
I had a good Thanksgiving. Looks like yours was full of good food. 🙂
This Channel is the best !!!
that eel looked great
I really think this illustrates the difference in importance people in Asia place on convenience stores. Here in the US, I mainly get gasoline. As far as food, the most involved meal is a sub sandwich or slice of pizza, nothing as fancy as what you can find in other countries.
Have you ever watched Japanese convenience store videos? The food you can get there is incredible. Healthy, fresh, and delicious. I stopped at one here in the US and got chips, candy bar and a coke.😕
@@shannondore Why did you choose those things? You can get healthy foods at convenient shoppes in the US. Salads, sandwiches, fruit, hard boiled eggs etc.
The best channel ❤️😍
your videos are very relaxing
You can also put a mug of water in the microwave to keep bread and cakes from drying out 🥰
Happy Thanksgiving from here in America, I hope you both have a great end of 2021~
A delightful message at the end.
ITS A MICROWAVE ONE LETS GOOOO I LOVE WATCHING THE SPINNING SO MUCH
Should you eat uk style chips again I really recommend putting salt and malt vinegar on top, because that’s how we have it here!
