Knocking was way too fast, she could've asked first the guest of where they want their/his food to be set up, salt and pepper is missing, even sauces like ketchup or mayonnaise. She needs to be more engaging the conversation or start a conversation like "How was your day Mr. Carlos Miguel...? Do you have any set plans for the day?" And you can ask more.. Also, once you presented all his orders, then ask for confirmation if did you get his order right. In In Room Dining world, we're not suppose to greet the guest too much of a "Ma'am/Sir" actually, in the service, you are only allowed to call the guest name 3 times. Anyway, she's a nice example. Great job.
Should you need more of In Room Dining training and basic knowledge I would love to share with your class or group. Let me know so we can discuss. Thanks.
I understand its a role play. In a real world Formal Set up especially adheres to Forbes Standard Hotel. Saying alright and ok is not acceptable instead you reply. Certainly!
Well, its standard and usually, it is taught that, you should wait for the phone to ring atleast 3 times before picking it up just in case its a wrong call, since its quite common to happen,,
if this is a video on what to expect in America Then You should be able to ask that they leave it outside your door. But they don't leave the cart with you as they'll be using that to deliver food to other guests. they typically only leave the trays of food. See the black tray, they'd probably put that on a table in the room for you. (or on the ground outside your room if you asked them to.) I wouldn't, because the floor. But also the way to return the dishes and signify that you are done with your meal is to put the dirty dishes on the ground outside your door so the staff can collect them. The rooms are much larger in America than in this video, so you'll have a table/desk to put the tray on. But again, I don't know what this video is. So I don't know if you were actually asking if you can have that service in real life, or if you can have a video of that service.
Kung sa Pilipinas, di ko lang alam. Kung maganda ang kompanya at kaya nilang mag train ng tao, pwede kang lumipat sa IRD, mas maganda pa ang pera roon kesa HSKP.
I was searching for something else.. What is this? Is this for a class? and these are fellow students giving constructive criticism in the comments? Is the class for learning English? Is the class for... working at a hotel, because a lot of the criticism is how to do the hotel stuff. Is it a culture class? because there's a comment about how to knock (that was a lot of knocking, actually.) and a comment about touching doors. I'm leaning towards culture class. in which case I would like to respond to the people who are very specific about the breakfast. As an American, I take a continental breakfast to mean "free food in the morning" but you have to go down and get it yourself. It's buffet style. Or at least, I've never asked for it brought up to me. You can take your plate back to your room or with you when you leave the hotel to eat it though, as it's served on disposable dishes. There are foods that you can order to your room in some hotels but I've only used room service for dinner, These meals would be served on glass plates with covers and expected to be returned, via placing them on the floor outside your door to show that you are done with the meal and the dishes can be collected by the staff.
As an American you must understand that America is not the only country on the planet ,so nobody gives a f what they do there. Its clear that the video is somewhere else

Yes knock after 15 seconds give time to the guest
@@young4961 nope knock after 2 minutes otherwise guest will be complained too you....
@@GHOST-ik7oo Nope, 20 seconds is enough, before you knock again. 2 minutes would be way too long and you'll end up in delay
this is more of a fucking role-play then actual standardized training

Dear u have done a fantastic job and perfect video for IRD persons
Knocking just once for 3 times and as what I observed its too fast it should be maximum of 10 seconds
It sounded rude.. you picked up late the phone, knock to fast on door and no smiling to the guest what so ever..too much”okay”were repeated!!
