I was in a similar relationship as Arlene. Because I had no kids with him, I was able to ‘plan’ to escape. When I saw the ‘look’, I KNEW he would k… me.
I changed my name, moved 3500klms away, completely changed my look (even family didn’t recognise me). He stopped looking for me after two years.
He then went on to k… his wife and their 3 children and is now doing 3 x life (no parole).
    I was lucky.
    Beyond lucky 😐

If you want a story where the victim prevails, and survives to testify against the perpetrator, look up Mary Vincent. I forget the old guy's name, who attacked her, but he was a serial killer, and it's a really messed up story, but she survived.
I forget the name, but this one woman turned the tables on her attacker, and took his gun and killed him with it. I think I saw that story in a show about the Chillicothe serial killer, but that's all I can remember about that now.
I think one of the worst stories, like you said, where the victims were helpless, and even had to watch as he killed them, was when Oba Chandler killed the Rogers family in Florida. It's a really interesting case, because of how they caught him, but it's so sad to think about how he killed those poor women.

The district attys and commissioners should have never given McGowen the arrest warrant, period. For them to now be claiming they wouldn’t have given him the “warrant” if they knew what they found out later. However, they claim they didn’t get the answers they needed from him, yet still gave him the warrant. They should also be in prison right along with him.

So the woman in the Arlene Fraser story is supposed to have her identity "hidden?" I mean, I am no detective, but I feel that between the fact that she has a speech impediment (I am not mocking her, I mean it is a recognizable characteristic) and 3/4of her face basically being shown? I feel like anyone who has met her would have no problem recognizing her?

She doesn't have a speech impediment. She is Deaf. Many Deaf people especially older ones, were forced as children to not only read lips but to speak, when a person can not hear themselves speak their tones are very different to hearing people, and the way they formulate words is very different. Hearing people formulate words on how they sound, Deaf people that speak from their mouths formulate them on shaping the mouth.

      @dudemorris7769 10 місяців тому +8

They knew exactly who he was as a human. They should’ve gotten him psychiatric treatment or had him mentally committed when he was a young teen & possibly would’ve changed the outcome of his future & all the victims of Jesse. I can almost guarantee that he had more than 100 unreported rapes as several females he went to school with came out after the trial & stated that he had raped them in middle or high school. They couldn’t use their testimonies as the evidence or limitation of their claims had been well past the time they could file charges. Had they filed charges or even reported it at the time, they very well could’ve stopped any other victims from suffering at his hands. The one young lady wasn’t even aware he was in their home when he attacked and threatened her. He was a school mate of her older brother & she was only 11 or 12 years old at the time when he walked into the bathroom on her & later that same day, raped her in her bedroom before her parents got home. Her brother had believed he had left & didn’t walk him out. She never told since he made her believe that it was her fault, nobody would believe her, & her brother would also be charged, literally scarring her for life & making her believe she would lose her family if she told on him & they took her. That alone is enough to lock him up for life. This young girl is mentally unstable and will always have PTSD over what this monster did to her & many others. All those years later & that young lady is still devastated on what he did to her. Had any of the teen girls he was raping, grooming, groping, having them give him BJ’s, & acting as if they were his gf & manipulating them, then raping them when he got them alone. Several spoke out & have serious mental health issues since they could’ve stopped him from killing others later in life. These poor girls should have never been raped, felt they couldn’t tell, & have absolutely no fault in what this sick monster did to so many. His parents knew, they did nothing but move to several other locations, change schools to keep him from being found out & were taking him to school. I can’t imagine what these parent felt after learning he was a psychotic killer & serial rapists.

For one, victims are often never the focus in true crime content, which is sad. 2nd, these beautiful black women are _"less dead"_ in the eyes of many who don't care about their deaths (either because they're black, female, and/or drug addicts/SWs). They were human beings and didn't deserve to die like that.

Tragically interesting how some men, in their vengefulness mischaracterize their spouses (after they are killed) and all too often point to themselves - stating strange comments, that fit no explanation ... as time goes on. While the perpetrator - (knowing full well their spouses did nothing of the kind of which they are accused of) Gaslighting their victims long after the fact, and after their deaths is so cruel to all survivors. Colon cancer is supposed to be extremely painful & quite honestly, it’s befitting. In the prison system, he would have continued to have barbaric medical treatment in the Red Onion while receiving care. There would be very minimal pain management, even having your bowels removed & a bag or tube in this case inserted. Unfortunately, someone has been made to clean up his 💩 crap, literally, for the most part since his diagnosis & he’s most assuredly made his care workers pay & they’re eating as much crap 💩 as he can make them. For them to move him to the secured hospital unit is actually quite sad knowing he’s receiving optimal care from the system. @37:09 I dont understand how the conviction can be quashed when they have his former friend testifying against him, explaining what they did, who did what and so forth. Why are they even saying Arlene’s body is still out there when he explained she had been dismembered, ground up and burnt, the ashes scattered? There’s no body left to find! I just don’t understand, it’s like I was watching one murder mystery, it had been stalled for years, then a guy who helped with the murder turned on the ring leader and testified against the husband/ring leader….then it’s overturned because wedding rings were mishandled??? WTF do the rings even matter at that point?

I hardly think the Barney Fifes of this world are the stuff of serial killers, bumbling deputies maybe

Jesse, such a winner huh? Had a great chance for a football scholarship but no, easier to drive a cab for a career! Is awful the police did not put 2 & 2 as 4! These victims were beautiful, young & full of life ahead. A pure evil, monster, waste of flesh. Hope the families find peace. Beautiful angels fly in heaven. 🙏❤️

The district attorney should have also gone to prison. That pig had absolutely no evidence except for hearsay. He sat there and acted like he’s innocent. Detectives should have been sent over. Makes me so angry He told me. He told me. That’s his excuse for helping him get a warrant. And stop calling him a police officer.

The likeness of the drawing of Jessie Matthews is almost exact. Add the braids and it's him. How did they not make the connection especially when he was a cab driver right next to where Morgan was taken. This could have been solved sooner for Morgan's parents. They're so gracious, my heart goes out to them. Rest in peace Morgan

Except for being a predator, that Matthews guy really was just TOO effing big! Have another look at his proportions at 1:02:55, and compare his head to the width of his shoulders...

That cop is on the spectrum in a dream world totally. He has absolutely no boundaries. Or a total narcissist.
He knows a uniform will get him respect…
I know two school bullies who are cops…
It will always be sexual harassment because no woman can stand that type of person.

Watching about the murder of Morgan Harrington, is just heartbreaking. I have a true fear of this happening to my daughter, now that she's in college. My heart literally broke for her mom. I could never begin to imagine the loss.

U.k. sentences are like Canada's court system. They are usually SOFT on crime... Some of the murderers get such a light sentence, I feel very sad 😭 for the family 😭😭💔😭...

Anthony wasn’t a model servicemen. Was involved in a SA case with 3 others. Overseas. The victim if I’m not mistaken testified in his case. In Ohio. -- maybe that was Lonnie Franklin the grim sleeper.
