I seen on another sticker video if you create two cut lines change the inner color differently then when you go to cut advance will let you choose the inner color to cut the sticker at force 1, then reload your sheet then at cut the outer color that has a different cut force to cut all the way through the paper then you just have everything as indivisual stickers theat looks great
Yep! Multiple ways things can be done in the software. But no need to reload the sheet, you can do it all in one go of you are using an autoblade. You do not want to Unload the mat or there's a chance it might not line up exactly again.
Actually, I chose your video because it was so long… I thought to myself “hmmm I bet she has a lot of tips!” Lol and indeed you do- thanks for making it. I do troubleshooting too (in another arena) and an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure… its totally a cliche for a reason. That’s 26 minutes well spent in my book.
It's not necessary as most printers do not print white as a color.... white printers are very expensive, so most users don't have that option, but yes, if you happen to have a printer that does, then you would use a different option or turn the opacity down.
Yes - the ink needs to be completely dry. If it's beading on your material, then you'll need to adjust the printer settings for the material and make sure your printer is compatible with the material finish.
Hi, thank you for the video. When I cut the machine cuts the entire page and not just the upper page as in your case. What mistake am i doing. Please answer.
Why doesn't my text stay grouped within a circle? I'm trying to create a label with text in the center and then on the inside of the circle. Whenever I want to duplicate it to fill a page, only some of the text is duplicated - the center stays open - it does not copy the center text. I've spent countless hours starting from scratch again, rewatching the video. I recently upgraded to the Silhouette plus software. I'm so frustrated!
Did you use the Text to Path to bring text in the shape of the circle? If so, did you right click on it and choose Convert to Path before grouping and copying?
I have a problem with the studio...when I copy an image to fill up a page then print it out 4 or 5 images will be fine and the rest of the images on the page will look faded out....what on earth is causing this?
@@ErickTiki That is odd behavior and not something I've encountered when troubleshooting. If you save as a pdf file and print outside of Silhouette - does it still do it? What version of the software are you currently using? Under Help > About Silhouette - what are all the numbers? For instance, v4.4.554?

Is there a specific way to set up uploaded png files for print and cut? I have seen many different ways to create print and cut files but I never know what type of file being used or there from the design store, or seems to be completely different version of software. I am transitioning from Cricut so have always used the offset tool and then flatten to create kiss cut stickers, but it doesn't seem that simple in Silhouette studio! If you have any specific resources for print and cut png images, I'd love to check it out!
It should be as easy as Open PNG, create the cut line, and you have your sticker. Silhouette does not use "flatten" - it doesn't have to be flattened at all. Select the cut line and png image and group. Then your object moves as one. If you have Autotrace on - it will trace transparent PNG files - but there can be bugs and it can be data heavy. silhouette-secrets.com/2020/08/09/lets-explore-v4-4-autotrace-png-files/ Or you can trace the PNG to get the outer cut lines - here are several Trace tools silhouette-secrets.com/trace-panel-tabs/ Or you can simply draw a shape as I show in the video - here's more on the drawing tools - silhouette-secrets.com/2019/09/17/lets-explore-v4-drawing-tools/ The exact steps depend on what kind of PNG you are opening and what you want to do with it.
@@SilhouetteSecrets Thank you so much, I will review all these. I noticed when I open the png it already has a red outline around the image. If I want to create an offset it looks like there is two cut lines - would I just select the inner cut line to no cut?
