@@RageGamingVideos the fireworks are PERFECT for sleep builds Try eating for lv4 felyne bombs or whatever its called , more sleep buildup lv3 and whatever lv1 you want Bombing the monsters into oblivion is an actual thing now
I can see why you like the Kittenator, since you're a Great Sword main you can sympathize with your cat who will now also miss the monster by a country mile.
It's funny, I ran a Bombardier, and a Fighter together, and I saw the Bomber running at the monster with his gigabarrel bomb, exploding the monster into the fighters setup dragonator. I had no idea what just happened
I don't know if you know as it wasn't mentioned but the healing clover bat while at max charge also heals allies that are close to you. Its a pretty short range but if you are all in melee range of the monster it can help keep them topped off.
I've been using fireworks exclusively and some things about it: 1) it's damage scales with distance from epicentre and monster max health; on multi monster missions it hits for 300-350, on massive monsters it does 1500-2000. damage doesn't decrease with continued uses. 2) it looks like it's meter might build passively but definitely from damage done by you, unsure if it's damage amount or instances but I use DB and in a 5-10 min hunt can use it 3 times usually. If you're running with a team, one lottery box is probably good for the kittenator but stacking fireworks is the best strategy by FAR. No kittenator internal cooldown + more hunters = more monster HP = more damage. TL;DR Felyne Firework has been GRAVELY undersold here.
Erm, note about the Felyne Fireworks. It does not just do base 350 damage. If you attack the monster ontop of the bomb (and do this whilst is trapped and downed to guarantee it hits)….it deals far more than just 350. I have dealt over 1000 dmg with it nearly every time. I’m sure I’ve seen it say 1500+ once or twice. So if you like explosions, try it out!
I don't know what fully deems the fireworks damage from your cat but I can definitely say 2 things for sure having been using it for a while now. 1, it has a blast radious which determines how much damage it does, the closer the higher, like a difference between gray numbers and gold numbers. I've had the bomb hit around 1500 damage already several times, it is definitely worth using. If it only did 350 all the time, then no it sucks I've never had it deal less than 400 damage at a long distance away. I will know more as I progress but I believe it deals damage = to a % of the monsters HP overall.
Recently was doing a hunt against afflicted Narcaguga and decided to try out the fireworks since I don't really focus on what the palicoes do when hunting and that shit did over 2600 worth of damage and broke a part at the same time lol. If what you said about the HP is true, that probably explains why that did so much damage against an afflicted monster
It seems the best time to use it is when the monster is knocked down or trapped, since you can just place it under the monster's nose and guarantee a chunky hit. It pairs really well with the Kittenator because of it.
I love the Fireworks. Not the most useful but Fireworks are always fun. edit: I always use it in combination with a Marionette Spider. Slam the Monster into a wall and place the Firework on its face.^^
I find the fireworks helpful, its just timing like everything else. Had some fall flat and whiff, but had plenty extra damage right when I slug the beastie right on it.

ok, I can see why the Felyne Fireworks might not be totally suited for the greatsword playstyle, but holy shit is it POWERFUL when paired with sleep sword and board or sleep dual blades. these two weapons don't have too grand of damage for a proper wake up like, say, a hammer, gs or any wyvern fire accessible weapons. so, by having these Felyne powerbombs on hand, just easy sleep the monster, place the mega barrel bombs, have your felyne friend set the alarm clock then just sit back and watch the fireworks! having two palicoes on hand, both carrying these make for some serious wake up damage spamming potential. combo in sleep or paralysis weapons on your kitten helpers on top of everything mentioned above just adds to the "fuck this monster" energy!
I feel like Ameowzing Mist + Foray could be a nice combo if you don't want a para or poison build. You get a debuffed monster that benefits the whole party, and you get a boost to DPS on top.
just a heads up when ur palico uses the Lotto box move u rolls like this 50/50 thats 50percent rolling Gold and the other 50 rolling silver if it rolls Gold its a Kittenator if it rolls Silver then it uses one of those random moves
Uhhh fireworks sounds like the main reason you would wanna go for a sleep build 700 dmg + the other bombs you have every few minutes sounds like a GOOD deal to me Especially with dango lv4 on bombs and lv3 more status
After some tests, the firework does not do extra damage to sleeping monsters, so you would still want your heavy hitter on the team to do the wake up hit while the firework is lit. However, Bombardier does increase the fireworks damage a hefty chunk.

So you can time it for trap or sleep abuse with large barrel bombs, and the timed explosive will be a better first hit than the weaker per hit weapons like dual blades. Not saying it's the best but I do think it competes with lottery box for first place.
The Felyne Firework can definitely do way more damage than that, it might scale off of monster max hp or something? I've seen it do like 1-2k damage. Also just pop the bomb during topples, you can command your palico to use it while you have your weapon out.
whener the felyne powered up ability triggered for me the whirlwind attack they do went up from like 12 or 16 (dont knos the exact number) to 32. so for me it was a huge increase
Capcom is aware of this bug, but I want to point out that currently the lottery box does not cause the palico to simply use a random ability, it actually physically randomizes your palicos middle three moves and then uses one of them, thus causing your palico to suddenly have all the moves you gave them be swapped out at random permanently (Or until you go and physically swap them back put at the buddy dojo)

the healing bat is interesting, i was questioning how good it was for a while so i just kept the box but i will give it a fair go soon. i imagine it can help if you are dealing with blood blight and don't have the best chance for aggression anymore as things shift.
Doesn't the song also power up Palamutes? Considering that Palamute DPS is bonkers now it might be beneficial to further increase their damage.
In OG Rise, I had a "Old Hunting Horn" build for a Palamute who is purely for buffs and healblade healing spam so.nobody needs to use a potion, it's dps was meh but it was fun to use!
What buff aside from Heal Blade did you set it to use?
@@HenshinFanatic Heavy Strike Scroll, since some folks had Brutal Strike Builds
In addition, I also buffed others with Occasional Might Seeds after using Mega Demon and Armordrugs right after the quest starts, the issue is that almost everyone else had a palamute and blitz all the way to the monster before I could buff the randos lol
Commander reborn as a Palico.
But he hasn't forgotten his love of weapon. To Dragonator.
I’m trying to get a palico with all support skills like buddy breather, medic, support century . Do I have to keep checking after every hunt or can we now swap and customize all the skills? Or is the swapping only for the other skills like healing bubble?
this is the 5th time you've made a palico build.... amazing
Sometimes my felyne will get kittenator consecutively and miss half the time
I just realized the Kittenator has the meme line!
So which one is better in order the ability boost the first the second lucky box and third healing bats
My Feline Fireworks just did 2200+ dmg, so I mean, it can help quite a bit. Most of the time, it’s between 350-1,000. But yeah, sucks when it misses.
As a db user I always run felyne fireworks so I have a strong wake up. Easy as that.
Whouldnt it be smart to use the firework as a wake up attack on the head for a good wake up?
I almost changed the video when i saw the MHW footage in the beginning bc i thought i accidentally clicked the wrong vid lol
I had the kittenator finnish off the finalboss...
my reaction was "Damn dude... I guess I am not the real hero of kamura... I guess I am a fraud."
you mentioned a guide to the new skills
im gussing its not out yet
Yeah not yet
@@RageGamingVideos how about now?
@@bkTM69 38 minutes
Where are you getting the 350 number from? I’ve seen fireworks hit for 850-1200 dmg reliably?
My Pamlico never goes on missions even when doing solo missions
How do you unlock your main Palico to go on quest with you? I only have have dog
Now imagine if we could play as Palicoes in rise...
I'm surprised you still can't after how much fun it was in Generations
When ur cat can kill Godzilla u know u raised it good
i just tried using the firework for a while and that been some pretty strange result where sometimes it can do over 1k damagae and i am trying to figure out what makes it do that
wrong info on firework. When i did tons of afflicted Monster, some damage were 900, 1k to 2.2k.. It really depends on the hunt or maybe we are missing some info on how it scales
someone mentioned that it scales with bombardier, so if you had that on your set that may have been it
Sonic barrier clover bat makes the game super easy
I've seen the Palico Fireworks do over 1000 damage.
Can confirm it, it does 1080 dmg minute ago
It does more damage with multiplayer scaling yes
The bats charge when the palicos strike not the player
The outro song has been remastered??
Ok hear me out but try it out when you get the chance.
Felyne power up.
Support/gathering cat
Shock tripper or shock trap
Profit.
I unlocked the bats, probably I'll never swap back. Full Healing Palico with Bats is a godsend.
It's criminally bad punning that it wasn't called the PAWferator.
I really hate that I want to play rise/sunbreak but I just can’t bring myself to play it again. WHY AM I LIKE THIS!?
What sword are you using that has purple sharpness
Gotta ask Catcom for Palico improvements :D
Cats with Bats. Keep Bats warm.
Running a dual Lottery kitties are amazing since there's a chance they do double power drum and you will never run out of shock purrison if both of them have it
I guess it's better to have now two palicos instead of one palico and one palamute
I wish I can start sunbreak but I need to beat the main game its so hard lol.
waiting on the fix for the glitch before i put lottery on my cats
I need to make copies of my Palico for each class lol... Should have done that a long time ago 🤣
Yeah...did that while running the upgrade campaigns for the support supers. Only thing that truly matters on them now for min-max is the passive skill list if you really care about having a specific set of passives on every buddy. I run status weaponry on them so I usually aim for the status attack up passives on mine
@@craigfunk3453 honestly I might just be lazy and stick with my Palico the way he is lol. He's support so no big DPS but he heals and puts shit to sleep lol
Healing clover bats plus Daora armor super recovery? :^)
Plus gourmet 🐟
So i have noticed that the endemic life barrage bufft with felyne power-up doubles the toades but maby my palicos where stackt but i do think it gets doubled
My feline fireworks does 1250 dmg for some reason
Should probably mention the glitch, otherwise you're setting us up for failure.
I wish the dogs wouldve got the same treatment. Dogs are way cooler than cats.
Wish I had an irl palico
There a new monster in monsterhunter rise Sun Break gaismagorm
*WARNING* Don't use any of them right now, they will eat your save file! *WARNING* Wait till the next patch update.
Only the Lottery Box and the Felyne Powered-Up are currently bugged. The rest is fine. Atleast from my understanding.
@@riemaennchen I'd play it safe regardless.
Yeah, they ruined my perfect palico.
Way to sour me on the expansion Capcom.
Oh so that’s why my favorite palico got fucked up
@@Abyssal86 Hey, it would be one thing if Capcom didn't warn us but, they did and, are working on it. Hell, I haven't even had the chance to use them.
I feel bad, they buffed Palamutes and then Palicos get all these.
I don't, basically everyone I see online used to only have palamutes. Maybe we'll finally get more Palicos now.
Ok, but how do I get the gun for my dog 🤷🏻♂️
My fire works does 1000 damage?
