I like the door panels with the plaid topper, but I think the plaid overwhelms the back seat, I think it needs to be solid black. Either way it looks fantastic, you are definitely not lazy. Hit the like button guys, he deserves it.👍
LOL I remember driving my Camaro across town to get a windshield installed in it. I made it about 2 blocks and turned around and got some sunglasses because of the dirt and wind in my eyes. At the very first stoplight this guy puts his window down and yells at me and says, "Hey! You ain't got no windshield!" So I stuck my head through the opening, look all puzzled and said, "No way?!?!?" Hahahaha.
As I like to say: People are getting dumber by the moment... As part of my job I have to answer the telephone and the questions they ask sometimes make me want to pound my head on the counter!😭
I had to stop when Danielle got out there and come like and comment. That car is everything you wanted and more. That seating is perfect for both of you to cruise...awesome job...lets all share and get Dan and Danielle over the 100k...no one deserves it more!
The 57 just gets better and better. I like the door panels, not the back seat. Maybe you could find a decent back seat at the swap meet and dye it black. Also find a black steering wheel or paint the old one. Other than that it’s a beautiful car. Totally amazing what you did.
Dan, Perhaps you should cover the bottom half of the rear seat's back in that black diamond stitch (leaving only the upper half or less in the red tartan plaid) so that it mimics the look of the door panels and the rest of the car?
Those colours match well, it's nearly ready for the show, it's really coming together, they look great together, you have done well, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Dan, please redo the rear passenger side interior quarter trim so that the aluminum strip lines up with the front door trim better....it's driving all the OCD people nuts on what is otherwise a beautiful work of art. Enjoy following your channel with all the home garage experiments and test trials because you, Danni and Mer provide classic car hobbyists with tons of cool ideas and lots of action that keeps us motivated. Thanks for the happy miles!
Watching this build inspired me to attempt a clear coat on the front clip of my wifes suburban that was really oxidized. I can say it is shinier and I learned what to try next time. Thanks for the videos.
Hello there cowboy here again wow out in the light of day with the trim , seat's and that plaid truly epic who wouldn't love this thing I remember going out cruseing on Friday nights in the real deal not to show my age but they were everywhere I bought it in highschool for $ 50 buck's it needed a lot of work many a weekend at the yards in town pulling what I could afford all done mine never looked that good Oh by the way I noticed the cap your wareing as an old Navy Vet I thank you for that love watching you working you remind me of myself I've been twisting a since before well you know lol still need to get somethings a little bit better I know bodywork sucks sorry there's really no other way to say it those that have done it will tell you that's being kind but as much work as it is the results can make it so satisfying as for the painting your doing better than most guys that call themselves painter's you'll come into your own style remember you can make even a bad paint job look a lot better with a little effort and time your doing wonderful keep doing what you're doing and remember be safe healthy and happy God Bless 🤠
You might paint that steering wheel black. You could get the rear seat apolstered to match your diamonds on the door panels. Nice seat for Mur and Lynn. Happy mothers day Lynn!
As I commented in previous video they are Mustang II seats ;) Build sheet confirms it as does the the plastic removable backs and the way the covers attach behind the rear covers. The looks great in there dyed Black :)
I like the door panels with the plaid topper, but I think the plaid overwhelms the back seat, I think it needs to be solid black. Either way it looks fantastic, you are definitely not lazy. Hit the like button guys, he deserves it.👍
I agree, possibly some Plaid accents of Sort but Black on Black back Seat in my Opinion.
The quarter trim should have been plaid! Something tells me the plaid treatment will be temporary.
Yes I agree
And paint that blue steering wheel black. It really sticks out. Other than that, she's a total beauty.
Sportsman special
This has been a very productive winter for D&D...trash to treasure.
Happy mother's day Dan's Mom!!
got to be honest...EVERYONE is gonna dig that ride.that car is gorgeous....be proud, you made it beautiful and it runs

Good Morning, That’s a Sharp looking 57 Chevy !
The car is looking good and happy mother's day to all the mothers out there 👍👍🇨🇱
Paint looks great in the sun.
Yeah im stoked on it.
That looks like a build sheet for the car that those seats came out of it’s like gold to find one !!
Yeah. The owner of that Ford would love to have that build sheet. If the car still exists.
It's not a build sheet it's just an item slip.....showing what car they went on and what package the vehicle had
You know you're into it when you're cruisin' with no windshield! Great save and lots of fun to follow along... Cheers from Alberta!

Nice! Get it done man.
Wow, what a transformation. Remember when Danni said "this is garbage" when you brought the car home originally?
Everything starts off as garbage around here haha
Looks great, for what you are doing. Most important have fun, which I think is exactly what you are doing.

57 looks good Dan! From Missouri, I can appreciate the hat. That ship was strong!
The 57 just gets better and better. I like the door panels, not the back seat. Maybe you could find a decent back seat at the swap meet and dye it black. Also find a black steering wheel or paint the old one. Other than that it’s a beautiful car. Totally amazing what you did.

I wouldn’t believe that was Rustoleum paint under there! Absolutely terrific final finish!
A spring day with a 57 rag that you made from nothing! Kinda makes all that $hit worth it. Nice work
Car look good going down the road. But I would revisit that plaid rear seat.
You definitely build one sweet looking 57 ragtop Dan! Remember all the comments when you cut the top off? Catch you later buddy✌️

Turned out great. I think the back seat needs to follow the same “black with the stripe on top” theme the rest of the interior has.
Agreed
WoW Dan that's a nice looking 57 !!!! You did a outstanding job !!!!
Another Tri 5 saved from the scrap heap. Nice job Dan. Car is looking great.
