this song really gives the feeling of trying to keep moving forward, in the hopes that somehow things get better eventually, since there's really not much else you can do still though, there's that nugget of hope motivating you to keep going- things aren't going great, but you sure as hell aren't giving up now
Im pretty sure they made the music somewhere else then sampled it in as a chiptune, kinda how they put a beatles song in earthbound (this is a complete guess btw because I heard the remastered versions and they just sound like the in game ones before they added chiptune)
@@cyclone6976correct-ish. Mother 3 was originally going to be on the Nintendo 64! But the development was a mess, and the N64 was off the shelves before the game was finished. So it was canned, and remade from the ground-up for the GBA. Composer Shogo Sakai recycled the compositions he made for the N64 version.
I don't know why, but this song feels so nostalgic. I just get flashbacks of playing games in my room from almost 10 years ago now (I know I'm not actually old lol, but this song really brings me back)
why does chapter 3 have so much good music oml
The whole game has so much good music
Composer: Shogo Sakai
Game: MOTHER 3
Console: GBA
Is the last chapter before the corruption in the village
This was my wake up alarm tone when I was in college

Honestly, I feel like setting the tone for my day with this song would get distressing fast.
Mine was the opening to Half Life 2, with the RISE AND SHINE MR FREEMAN
Out of context of mother 3 that’s pretty cool in context bro why

This fits my childhood and my life in general so well
