One thumbs down? id really like to know why. Matt's vids are very detailed and slow pace for everyone including the family dog to understand keep doing what your doing matt 👏
I'm really enjoying these videos. I'm looking at a '79 CJ5 tomorrow, and I've been watching all these videos to familiarize myself with the model. I really appreciate the clarity of the information and the overall production quality. Well done. It's also cool that you're here in Mississippi. I look forward to the next installment!
Another great video! Thanks for sharing man! I’m always looking for the newest video you put up. I need to get after my Jeep project! Look forward to the next video!👍🏻
That Jeep Adventure well I purchased a 1981 Jeep cj 5 with the iron duke 4cyl. With the SR4 trans. Body was to far gone so I found (local to my area) a donor body but, I believe the body is older, I’d say around 76. My frame in the rear is also gone which I purchased replacement parts but, we shall see how that goes, lol I bought a amc 360 and also a Dana 20 attached to a T-150 3spd..
@@2001pontiacta I have a 77 that someone swapped in a 360 with a 3speed and Dana 20 t case.. I like it alot, although amc parts a hard to come buy and the go fast parts arent cheap like a SBC I had to do some work to my tub to save it, just need to fix the back of the frame over the rear spring hangers now.. plus new interior as it sat uncovered for 13 years

Sure hope it's the T150 you are rebuilding. Have mine on the work bench ready to tear down and would sure like to see you do it first! Surprisingly not a lot on that on the internet. I have the Service Manual, but a video helps tremendously. I've watched all your videos many times and still seem to learn from them. Thanks.
Where did you source your new tank and tank guard from? I'm in the process of rebuilding my cj-5 over on my channel and I just found this video! I'm going to be binging your stuff now.
Haha awesome! This new tank was actually with the Jeep when I bought it from the PO. The skid is stock the factory skid. I just sanded it down and repainted it
My CJ-5 is just about in the exact same spot as yours, bare frame getting put back together. One quick question, that bump stop that is on that mount just in front of the right side motor mount... Are you re-using yours and is it in decent shape? Mine was rotted from oil and such but I can't seem to find that as a part anywhere online. My channel is running a few weeks behind yours, but I'll be checking in often for any helpful tips as you go. No sense all of us making the same mistakes if we don't have to, right?
Mine had an aftermarket lift put on at some point, so I am assuming that they replaced the bump stops at that time because they really weren’t in to bad of shape. So, to answer your question I’m able to reuse these. I’ll reach out to a couple people and see if I can locate some for you

Can you get the gas tank out from the bottom if the body is on the frame?
Should be able to with no issue!
Great video! Who makes those brake lines??
Thanks. Ordered them from Summit
Where did you get your break lines from? I got mine from Walck's for my 62 Willys pickup. I was happy with mine. How did yours fit?
I got these from Morris 4x4. They were spot on with the lines that I removed from it. Was really pleased with that
@@ThatJeepAdventure do you by chance know the part # as I am looking for a good brake line kit?
Thank you for the videos. I'm currently rebuilding a 75 cj6. Do you happen to know where I can order brake lines from?
