Sooooooo glad you're back. Every week I check for a new post. Most of this video I already stumbled through myself. But that's ok. It was fun to watch and say I could have told you that. I am really looking forward to the 150 rebuild. Please keep it going, It gives the rest of us (at least me) a huge motivation.
@@ThatJeepAdventure I’m not doing a ground-up restoration like you, I’m just tackling projects as needed and driving it a lot. I bought it about three months ago, and have learned a lot from your CJ videos. Thanks for makin’em!
Oh how you are kiling me. Finished the T150 rebuild. But think I might have an isue. Deal with that later. Hopefuly your post will tell me where I messed up. Have the transfer case ready to tear down. Praying you catch up with me with your posts. Might have a shot at that as my job will be taking me outside the country for two months end of the month. But also have the 304 tore down and ready for a rebuild. It all really looks amazing good. My mechanic friend says he has never seen an engine this old look this good. All the parts are setting there so thats the next project. Hope to see more posts soon!
Very cool. I’ve been saying this, but the video is still on the horizon 🤦🏽♂️. Plan to do it in the next few weeks. Coordinating with my buddy who is very experienced with this, so hopefully it will help you. I bought the new CJ trail Jeep and I have been spending my weekends on that trying to get it trail ready. Almost have it to the point it needs to be and I’m back on the restoration videos! I was actually looking at the tub today thinking “man this thing is in good shape” lol. Excited to make progress on it
Hey there, just giving you s*#t. If I had the choice to do what your doing or making videos, videos don't even come close. Enjoy life while you can!@@ThatJeepAdventure
@@engin33r65 haha I appreciate that! I DO need to get that transmission rebuilt and get that finished up, so don't be scared to hold my feet to the fire a bit. It definitely helps keep me motivated!
@@ThatJeepAdventure I have the same cj 5 in thailand and when the covidstorm down there is over I shall do a bigger resto something like you so these videos you are making are in my way my cj resto school so thanks and stay healty

I like your comment of I've never done this, but I will learn and be better for it. That's an inspiring attitude!
Haha thanks! It’s usually my only option 😂

Haha thank you! Definitely have a plan for the 150 now. It’s coming
This is probaly the best set of late 70s CJ5/CJ7 restoration vids that are around. Whats up with the low viewer count!
Thank you!
Time to buy a painless performance wiring harness, put one on my 76 CJ5 and it’s amazing everything works.
Have definitely considered this. Gonna look into this option more now. Thanks for the recommendation
Glad to see the CJ is getting some love! My '80 is coming along nicely up here in Starkville.
It’s been too long! Felt awesome to get back in the shop without it being 100 degrees in there. How much do you have left on yours?

@Zev Miller it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D
Finally! Thought you gave up on it.
Haha not yet! Went on a bit of a hiatus, but trying to get it finished up this winter.
get yourself a power probe, it will help you track down any wiring issues when your putting it back together
Thanks for the tip on that! I suspect I’m gonna need all the help I can get in that area

@@ThatJeepAdventure I’m going to swap a 304 into my cj and debating on getting rid of the Quadra trac and putting a 3speed and dana transfer case in

What are the plans for the fenders on this jeep? I've been desperately searching for decent fenders for my 78 cj-5.
These fenders will probably end up on my CJ crawler, but I may have an extra set that you could use. Where are you located?
👍💯
I gotta find a fra e amd tub.
