You walked to the center to make sure you were in frame 🤣Great job man!
I dont think thats what he meant, he meant in position to go for the knee bar ( I think).
@@robertjimenez5608 yup you can only go for it if they are stepping behind you with one leg between yours
@@robertjimenez5608 He said "I walk to the center so I can be in frame". He also looked at the camera at that point. Pretty sure he meant it as the frame of the camera shot. Pretty cool.
@@anders.hovmoller damn thats disrespectful then
@@robertjimenez5608 I don't understand what you mean.
Very patient and methodical approach. Good work!
Had my first comp last weekend, over 40s blue belt. Got smashed and lost all 3 of my matches. However, I learned a tonne and I'll keep moving forward, though a tad disappointed of course. Thanks for your content and inspiration.
Good job for showing up though man, respect
To be fair, in my experience all the 30-35+ guys above white belt are on PEDs, so it’s a tough world out there if ur natural. Stay that way tho
It's tough competing at blue belt as your first comp. I'm in the same predicament. Have you got any advice?
No injure after competition is a big win. Good job on competing brother
@@carlosrazier433 play your game have fun
Bro you looked at the camera before you did it yo make sure you was in frame omg lmao. And that technique was GORGEOUS!!!!
Just did my first white belt comp last month. Got dbl silver, lost gi & nogi by points. It was fun and I learned a lot. Love your videos thank you Jordan, OSS!
Good job, just don't get complacent and take the criticism you get from your coaches and peers seriously, it will help you in the long run.
Thanks!
Hey dude - I’ve seen this guy before and that was a sick performance to beat him. Love your humble approach - it really helps us fans be able to relate to you and helps us learn as there are too many egos in this game when you get into the gyms. Your friendly approach really helps us out. Thanks man
That knee bar was so smooth, one of my favorites to pull from turtle with the roll underneath. Looking forward to more matches!
Great job Jordan! It was also great to get the chance to meet you after the match - I'm the guy who came up and told you I was one of your OG UA-cam subscribers - kudos on a huge win (and nice belt!).
wow dude, you are a beast. I can't believe someone so helpful someone who sounds so kind can be so dangerous.
SIICK!!! Im a 10th planet newbie! 4 months in! Actually got class an hour from now. This was a great battle! That takedown & foot lock! Woa! 🔥💯
What's cool about learning at 10P is watching Cesar use dog fighting to get up. I drilled so much of that position at 10P
Wow ... that was beautiful... excellent execution
Thanks!!
Great win with a great finishing move. I love how you have the confidence to move back into your recording camera frame. Well done and go for the ADCC trials. You will do well.
That was awesome. I had to rewind and rewatch that sub about 10 times it was so clean. I had my first comp two weeks ago. Bigger dudes, aggressive, but I used the hell out of my kimura traps, had a great coach, and went home with the shiny gold necklace. Between my coach and the great stuff I’ve taken from your videos, it went well and was fun
awesome work as always Professor Jordan.
thanks so much for breaking things down for us yet again
Congrats Jordan. Huge fan of your content. Finished 3rd at masters blue belt in my first comp a few weeks ago. Need to work on my standup game and sweeps
Holy crap!!! that was amazing!!! the shorts lol, you just love those shorts XD You definetly got your style points Jordan!! awesome!
You should make a reel of that take down. That was 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man, I will 🙂
Let’s go! Good stuff man. Watching you roll is super dope!
First competition this weekend! Loving the channel, super helpful! Thanks Jordan. OSS!
That finish was.....wow! Thanks as always for the great content Jordan!
Dude congrats. That is so awesome. It's also awesome watching you do the techniques we watch every day.
Amazing man, i always wondering how far you could go, if you compete. Because on "paper" (youtube) you are very good :)
I was very excited that i was able to see you "in field", not only "friendly sparing session".
You prove your craft, i wish i could watch you in ADCC and keep my finger crossed for you.
Take care :)
Loving how your collabing with other creators. Awesome stuff
Nice job brother! Awesome rolling and way to use technique. I actually got a fight coming up early Dec for a muay thai tournament. Love to see more of your competitions with good explanation on technique and thought process.
Good job man, that looked like one scary dude! I really liked this commentary, that would be crazy to see you do the ADCC trials. I had my first competition on October 1st, I managed to win bronze in the 236lb+ division, white belt. I weighed in around 240, and that “+” after 236 is no joke! These guys were huge!
Lost my first few matches because my stand up wasn’t where it needed to be, and couldn’t escape mount. Had a few moments where I could’ve turned it around, but I got too excited and sloppy with my sweeps/takedowns.
I was the very last match of the competition, and I got somebody that was actually around my size and experience level, managed to win 12-2.
It was a surreal, but amazing experience and a lot of fun. Since the competition I’ve felt significantly better at jiu jitsu, and I’ve gained an assertiveness that I lacked before. Maybe it’s just a bronze Newbreed medal, but that shit felt like winning Worlds to me.
Thanks!
Excellent video and appreciate your breakdowns brother. Fantastic !
“Why would you ignore 50% of the human body”- Dean lister. Congrats on your win! Well deserved!
Been watching you for a bit and you’re awesome! I’ve learned a lot from you! Last Saturday I competed in my first tournament and got 3rd in gi and first in no gi. I think watching you really helped me preform well and have the confidence that I did my homework and watched you. Keep up the great work!
Bravo 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💪🏾 Congrats bro
I've only just started watching jui jitsu and I don't really follow anyone apart from you so I would be so hyped to watch you have a go at the adcc trials !!!!
i have my first comp on the 19th! Your content is an amazing resource I really appreciate you
Congrats on the win Jordan! Cesar is my cousin, and it was super fun to watch a high competition jiu jitsu match in Ontario! Learnt so much by watching; proud of him and thank you for the recap!
Signing up for my second ever competition, my last one was 7 years ago (and I got utterly destroyed.) So pumped! Love your videos as always, amazing stuff.
That was dope bro you are a true master congratulations!!🙏
great performance Jordan, this channel has been a great inspiration to my jiu jitsu journey and I competed for the first time around a month ago and a second time within the next month where I took bronze in nogi and another one upcoming in 25 days. Pulled some nice moves thanks to your tips, love your videos.
Sick Roll Brotha !! Love all your Videos and Yes Compete More for sure and Break them down!!
That was great! Congratulations master 👏👏👏
I competed for the first time 6 months ago as a whitebelt in the biggest event here in Sweden (Nordic Open, spring edition) and I took home gold in both my weight and the open class and recieved my blue belt. Now 6 months later I went back to the same competition (fall edition) and I messed up in my weight class and lost in the semifinal on points but I redeemed myself with a win in the open weight class. Thank you for your videos! They have really helped me to get better at bjj. Much love!
Really enjoyed watching you compete! Yes, please do ADCC! Did my first comp since being an old man last summer. First time in a competition since college. Only regret I have was I didnt continue competeing since college. Felt amazing to be on the mat head to head again! Didnt win match, but was competitive. Recognize biggest weakness was lack of strength so Im in gym lifting on 12 week program and then back to another comp! Thanks for your awesome videos!
u tried ostarine? Im 51, and it really helps and is safe imo . nih has lot so of data on studies. its a banned ped though
Great sub! thanks for the video!!! can't wait for more!!!
Awesome break down 🔥💯👊🏽
Absolutely outstanding performance. You’re so calm in clutch situations and the takedown and submission at the end were beautifully worked.
Woohoo. That was nice!! Great job Jordan👏👏
Thanks for sharing and congrats my man 👊
We would love to see you compete at adcc and breakdown some more matches!
Slick arm trap from the back. And that roll into leglock was beautiful. You could tell he was annoyed you got his leg like that.
Your amazing brother. Always a pleasure to watch and learn from.
Let's go Jordan! That was a really dope finish - Congrats!
Great job getting back out there!! That kneebar entry as he was leaning on your back 🤯🤯
Yes Jordan!!! Total legend in the making. Love the content, love the channel, what a submission!!! Get them trials done lad!
Yes, please do the adcc trials. I'd love watching you dominate.
That was a quality submission, would love to see you going for ADCC trails.
Amazing as always, congratulations
Love that rolling knee bar. One of my favorites.
You put on a great show!! Coolest kneebar I've ever seen 😎
Awesome job man!
This is an incredibly break down of your roll. You have a fantastic memory of that you are thinking and doing in the moment. Subbed!
Wooohooo way to go Broh! Great breakdown and awesome way to finish the bigboy
Thank you 🙏
Learned alot from this video....thank you sir
That was amazing! Congratulations!
That was incredible! Amazing win!
That was sick! Awesome job!
Very cool finish. Congrats on the win
Dang Jordan you really earned your style points with the takedown to leglock ... Love watching you roll 🦾🦾
Thank you!!
Hell yeah! Good work brother!
Great work by you. You really stayed calm and stuck to your game.
I did compete and was rolled over got a silver in under 100kg category which is the highest before absolute here in France, your videos are really great thanks for all that you're sharing with the bjj community around the world.
Go for it! We wanna see more of your great Jiu Jitsu!
Heck yes Jordan, this was AWESOME to watch. Good work!! 👊👊
Awesome for you to put your self out there. Unlike some Montreal coaches that claim that they’re good bjj practitioners or criticize others with out competing ever in their life.
Haha I know a few!
Awesome work and strategy.
That was awesome to watch. I'd love to see a tutorial on lockdown escapes considering that opening clip of Cesar's. I have long legs and still find it incredibly annoying when caught it in it. It's also disconcerting because it can wreak havoc on the knees when trying to escape. Some of the "simple" escapes are no bueno against folks with a good lockdown too.
Sounds like a great video, or a part of a video, idea. Might make it in the near future, thanks man 🙂
Great job Jordan what an amazing finish!
Cool to see how big this channel is. Great video
I just started training and ur videos fire me up!!
Beautiful match. Entertaining and I learned very good videos Jordan
That was beautiful and very clearly explained. Thank you for these gems, Jordan.
SWEET kneebar roll; reminiscent of early days of UFC (Frank Shamrock, Taktarov)... always an impressive counter to straight to sub. Flawless execution.
Great vid as always bud. Definitely go for adcc trials.
Such a great match and breakdown!
PLEASE KEEP THIS CONTENT U ARE THE BEST LOVE THIS MAN!
That's such an old school attack! Very cool to see. I guess what's old is new again. Congrats!
Superb, i could watch this content all day
Very keen to see you compete in the next adcc trials and some live commentary.
Great breakdown and tips.
Awesome job Jordan! I can't wait to see you tear up the competition scene! Dare I say ADCC Trials??? 👀👀👀
That finishing sequence was a thing of beauty! Congrats!
LFGGGGGGGG would love to see you compete for adcc. you're an amazing teacher, and you're badass on the mats.
I second this callout for ADCC Trials 😆😆
Hey. Ceasar is one of my coaches at 10p Toronto! Great guy. I think he was really bummed about this loss. This is 100% not peak Ceasar. Seems you out wrestled him standing up, really set the pace and tone of the match. I'm Really surprised with that slick roll at the end. You Made this look easy and I can tell you as a heavyweight myself, I've been submitted many times by this guy. He is no slouch. I'm probably the most muscular and strongest guy at my gym. Getting owned by 195lb technical folk on the regular. No shame in it at all. Great video.
Classy rolling dude a cool head in the face of adversity.
After watching so many of your tutorials awesome to see you put it on the line !!
Props to Cesar as well he's clearly an experienced grappler ready to pounce!!
Appreciate the content 🤙
Nice bro! Congrats on the W
Awesome match Jordan! Thank you for this video.
Awesome job brother!!!
Great match man, cant believe i ever doubted your skill , you da man !
I love the strategies outside of technical jits. Analyzing, gauging reactions, setting your own pace. Really makes me want to add stuff like that to my game. But I still need a lot more technical jiu jitsu hahaha.
Wow great finish! Hope to see more competition videos.
So cool to see you in a real comp against a dude who is clearly really good and really strong!
I love that submission when the opponent does this.
