Hi Eddy from England i have been a fan of Pink Floyd since 1973 the first album i ever bought was Dark side of the moon i am 70 years old and have seen Pink Floyd live at various concerts since 1980 to 2015 approx 10 concerts. He is just as perfect live as on cd etc He inspired me to take up the guitar. I am hoping to go to his concert at The Royal Albert hall London in October, Love your reaction to, in my opinion the best band EVER
So glad your really exploring The Pink Floyd rabbit hole, you’ll have experiences that just can’t be compared, enjoy every one of them . Thanks for your reaction, much appreciated.
Greetings from Canada. Makes me happy to see you enjoy just like we did back then. Other bands ARE at that high performance level... Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Dire Straits, Rush, Peter Gabriel, Supertramp, Eurythmics. Lots to enjoy. Peace, love and bellbottoms.
PF always made great use of bass in their songs. I've got seven of their songs in my favorite-to-play list, all are fabulous. "SORROW" is on that list.
People say Floyd are a progressive band but the reality is they are their own genre and no two albums sound the same. One of the greatest bands of all time. Speaking of Time, that is, in my opinion, one of their most profound songs from one of the greatest albums from one of the greatest bands of all... time.
Yes, yes, to all you say. I'm not sure I ever heard this particular recording before. Although I've heard several. It was probably the best. I actually heard them do this live in '94.
@@eddybassreacts Many thanks, my friend and I took two LSD trips each like you do !!! on the way to this concert, what a fantastic evening we had, really first class all night long, happy days were they. Three cheers to you ooo thanks
Some guitarists will play 1,000 notes in 35 seconds, and it's BORING. . . David Gilmour can play THREE notes in 35 seconds and have you totally AMAZED and DELIGHTED!

Gilmour is a guitarist much before he is a singer. His guitar is the front man.
Wow.. No wonder, he so good on guitar!
