I love that old handgunner's paintjob at 2:40. Absolutely fantastic. Brings the old model to life. I know I'm not referencing the main topic of the video, but really, thatm hangunner took my breath away and now I want a tutorial!
i replicated this conversion, using the vindicators i got in the start painting box combined with my old brettonian knight pieces. I also had a very old cloak/cape from a 2010 CSM sorcerer kit in my bit box. I love the way it looks but i have made him specifically to be my BSB on foot in case i ever want to run him in foot knights (or in peasants with virtue of empathy). Does anyone have a good idea of how to make a banner or flag that would fit for this model?
This is superior to the Stormcasts by far. Well you guessed it, I always disliked the idea of having superhuman Space Marines in favour of noble knights in a fantasy world setting. Those things belong to a future far, far away
I also can't wait for the new bretonnian models! Perfect base for proper stormcast conversions 😁 A bretonnian rider on a dragon? Let's find out if that is a good idea 😉
I disagree since I in the minority who really like the Stormcasts. But I cannot argue that Kitbash looks quite nice. Once old world returns we can have the best of both worlds.
Really good conversion but I don't think it fits. the Stormcast bodies are just waaay too bulky and thick to be convincingly passed off as Bretonnians. Of course everyone is free to do what they want with their own miniatures, but for myself I just don't think it fits with the old Warhammer world.
I did my best to thin the stormcast down, but you are right they are massive! I like to imagine the resulting knight being a 2 meter something giant like the 'mountain' from Game of Thrones 😂
He's Sir Not-appearing-in-this-film surely! Great video!!
Superb conversion. This guy would go really well as a proxy for the Bretonian Knight in WFQ too!

I might paint another one soon and make a yt-short out of it 👍
Cool conversion! I think sir Staggard might be a good name for him.
Love the purple and green color scheme. Would love to see more conversions like this 🙂
Check out my shorts, there are a gazillion of conversions there 😅
This was fantastic! good job!
Hadouken! :D
So much nostalgia packed in one video! Great Job Tobi!

@@Glom37 In the Old World there will be no such thing like magical superhuman Space Marines.
Clearly his name is Tim
Why does it look like he should be carrying a spear and not a sword?
How about "Sir Wamri le Savoureux" as a name.
Those who know will know
