i really appreciate these videos from China. we get a lot of ideas being told about about life in china here in the US, but when you travel and share these moments, it really helps solidify my own belief that we arent really all so different and infact have more in common than we are lead to believe

It has a higher-end aura and is a place that will attract intellectuals who understand quality. The energy of that place is very familiar to me, gives me a sense of belonging and the promise of Chinese historical heritage is very attractive to me. I definitely want to visit the first bookstore when I go to Beijing, God willing. Who knows, maybe I can even buy Chinese translations of world classics such as Camus, Kafka and Hugo, or even better quality Chinese calligraphy books, what a valuable gift it would be for myself! The second bookstore you showed is also nice, but more than a bookstore it looks more like a place that appeals to popular culture and attracts the attention of those interested in Japanese animations. There is a wide variety of things sold. It could still be fun, looks trendy. =) Thank you so much.
