Ian! i'm so glad you don't object to my posting this. I abtained a few copies from my colleagues at Cyclemagic in Leicester, and distributed them from my bike charity in York. i hope they inspired some folks to follow in your wheeltracks. As a Raleigh Superbe (1951) owner, I was delighted with your moe of transport too. I hope you are still enjoying pedal powered pleasures, post CCC. all the best.
Thank you Darryl. It's refreshing to see movies about the English countryside that are not shot in bright sunshine. Much more realistic. I feel it conveys English bicycle riding more realistically than much of what one sees.
Your regular reminder that Rowan needs our help if this channel is to continue. Please become a Velocipedian to thank him and allow him to continue sharing his knowledge and passion with us.
This was produced by a bow defunct local authority. However im planning a Lancashire one. From the Yorkshire border near Settle, to the coast at Blackpool or Southport. I can guarantee it won’t be as professional as these!
Just watched this on Dvd from my local library. I though I knew Cheshire but obviously not. Thanks for giving me more ideas to explore. Do you plan to make a follow up with more routes ?

Thank you for sharing this history with us. Fenders sure come in handy on those rainy days.
