I've had a lovely afternoon watching another of your overhaul videos which I find so very therapeutic that I tend to watch them through then just replay them in the background and listen whilst doing something else.... This is a wonderful cycle - I'm a real lover of the Raleigh roadster type cycles with the enclosed chain and dynohub and watch every one you do. Thankyou so very much for sharing

Good video im glad you put them proper mudguard stays on instead of wire type thats how it originally should if been good you matched 2 world tours and good paint job
Hi Rowan, lovely bike this one, I was particularly interested in this one because of the maroon colour, is this plain maroon or slightly metallic, I’m doing a 57 Rudge sports which seems a similar colour but very faded metallic?
Cheers Rowan, I’ve discovered Holts HDREM07 deep red metallic is as near as I’m going to get, trouble is these bikes tend to age in different shades in different places!
Yes especially the mudguards which were rarely primed, whereas the frame was painted over a black undercoat. The top tube paint wears through. All due to lack of primer and lacquer. Substandard

What a truly lovely bike. If you're not as long of leg as Rowan, this would be such a great Raleigh to own. It holds itself so well.
Again another lovely Raleigh, looking forward the test ride!
I love it , very nice ❤
Never wanted a Raleigh until watching your videos, now i want a green Raleigh superbe.
Everyone should have exactly that. You won’t regret it and you will be surprised at its ease and versatility.
Very good job.
It's come up very nice and sounded good on the road, well done.
I’m sure it will look great in your shed😊
This has come out really well. I think this is my favourite of the Raleigh colour range.
Perhaps it is just as well that it is too small for you 😄
You are a fiend with that rattle can!!!
I’m old enough to remember when they were utter rubbish! Nowadays they are getting really good, if you get a decent brand.

The Rudge will be metallic if it’s a Sports or Ulster. This bike is solid maroon, like the non-sports Rudges.
