Originally the seat of the Bell family. One of my relatives was the gate keeper who lived in the gatehouse, which was derilict when I last saw it in the 1970's. Great stories about the "black Schuck" a black dog with "flaming eyes" that used to follow him at night on his duties until one night he confonted it with a crucifix and it let out a scream and was seen no more. When you venture out for that last smoko at night..... beware. Killeavy is a sacred place where the vail is thin....
Wonderful restoration, countryside retreat encouraging local business with personal 👋 history
Was there for a short break. A beautiful place and a truly great hotel 🏨.
Fair play Mick. Great work.
A unique part of Ireland's best
