This is neither here or there, but about twenty years ago, Yamaha came out with a 4x4 sport quad called the Wolverine, basically a 4x4 Warrior. I couldn't afford one at the time, but I always though it was a good concept that never took off.
Yeah man, a buddy of mine had one way back.. They were friggen killer back in the day.. I always thought the KFX 700 had a great platform for that idea to have been fully developed.. To bad Kawasaki doesn't like to gamble..

I had a moto works full carbón on my 2008 KFX 45O R and loved that set up. Currently have a full Ron woods exhaust on my DS 450 XMX and that sounds amazing too.

I got a 05 trx (kick only) fmf power bomb header and yoshi muffler, hot cam, k&n hi flow, wisco piston,wisco clutch basket- Hinson clutch, and side cover,mine sounds more deep like a harley does with side pipes, the dasa has a little bit of low whistle to it. I love the bike!!! Hands down best power. Keep an eye on the stock clutch basket for clutch walk,and loss of second gear at speed,( no nutrol) this is why I have wiseco,Hinson. Both are lifetime warranty full replacement

Dirt ObseXXion no just a few other folks. But they was telling me that on Saturday it was so full you could hardly ride. So apparently to avoid a huge Crowd it’s best on a week day or Sunday.
We already had it jetted and the intake done.. The Dasa was about 850.. For good big 3 on a carburated machine you're looking at around 1k, a little more if it's fuel injected.

I'll have to ask The Viking, but I'm pretty sure it did because it mounts different than stock.. Exhaust systems usually come with the brackets and hardware if they're different than stock..
Bone stock at that point.. Looks a lot different now though, it's been his XC Race bike this last year and it's getting a new XC build right now.. Motor is off getting some work done but I forget where he sent it..
I have a 2004 TRX 450 R and I have a monster pipe on that, it’s a Shorty and it is stupid f**kin loud. I have over $12,000 into it. The engine is built and tuned to the pipe. I have learned between riding and racing that, it is a mid range to a top end pipe. My personal opinion is monster pipes are the way to go
I had that exact 450, if I’m not mistaken it’s an 06 450r and verses the 05 stock for stock the 06 and up rip on the 04-05 model for sure, I miss riding so much, I’ve been looking but we will see what happens

I finally got a new bike. I live near bowling green. I got a old scrambler 400 2 stroke. Always wanted a 2 stroke!! I’ll be at the 5 dollar farm on Sunday 👍🏼 Good to see some sport riders still around too!! I’m 36 and grew up on sports. Had to have one to be fast back in our day right lol Do you have the address for gps going up there?? Been so long I may not find it. But they are the only place still open or I’d be hitting black Mountian !

Yes, but mostly top end.. He prefers the sparks on the 450r but we just put a Monster on one of our Raptors.. Haven't had it out yet though.. Only get the shorty if you want mainly top end gains.. The longer cans give better power in the low and mid range..
It's very loud, I think it's the loudest pipe I've ever heard.. So if that isn't what you're looking for it's probably best to look for something else... But the sound is great and the power gains seem incredible.. You're just not gonna be popular with the neighbors...
I gust can't believe I actually rode my back to the truck this time I believe that bratt I put in the fuel tank at dinner cured it. It kind of looks like raptor claws on the side of that hard hat you got to watch them they say they hunt in packs ha ha
Loaded question! I'll have to get the Viking to answer it but here's my take.. The 2-stroke power band on the Banshee is nuts and nothing feels quite like it.. The Banshee would probably take the drag race and 0-60 But you can ride the 450r harder on trails, especially with the set he's got on it..
@@DirtObseXXion I had an 07 450r my nephew has a banshee. When we drag raced the 450r was winning every time. A lot of wheel spin with a banshee taking off on dirt.

I’ve had the Dasa on my 04, my builder switched it over to the Monster and O man! The Dasa and Monster exhaust are by far the best sounding exhausts

Get a full length can for that TRX450 sound way better and you dont have enough motor for the shorty to make a difference.
The shorty sounds pretty damn good and looks awesome.. The Viking's happy with it and the damage is done now!
