- Our first time on the ferry ride from Lewes, DE to Cape May NJ on “The New Jersey”. We took this on Memorial Day. It was a little windy and cool. We loved seeing the dolphins escort us out of Lewes and the Seagulls welcome us to Cape May by chasing the ferry.
*Please excuse the wind sound at the front of the ship as we saw the dolphins, we promise it goes away.

From what I remember and from looking up on their website. From where the cars pull on you will need to climb 24 steps to get to the inside deck. They mention a dockside elevator to help you get to the upper level. I only saw the stairs. I hope this helps, sorry I don’t have more info.
Do the ferries have wheelchair accessibility to all levels?
