But recently I see there is a significant deviation of the direction of your channel and becoming typical divas channel which I think is not suitable for someone with a high calibre like you. I would really like you to reconsider the direction that your channel should go and produce more influential and inspirational content. He is the best friend anyone could ever ask for!! People always talk about Sheen being a great influence on Ali but its equally so vice-versa if not more. I am not even going into Ali's job offer to Sheen, canceling the podcast, etc. They are both such great friends and worth giving credit to Ali too along with Sheen. Sheen has a crush on Ali but she is logically realistic and knows that Ali is not the type of guy that can (at least at this point in time) understand/cater to/nurture a woman’s emotional needs in a relationship. Ali is a wonderful man and successful in many aspects in life but I sense in a romantic relationship he would struggle. Women are emotional beings and his lack of genuinely expressing emotion would totally mess with a woman’s mind. We ALL have areas in life for growth and learning!…I may be 100% wrong but this is the vibe that I get.
Very wrong. Ali is lovely and kinda goofy. The kinda guy you can giggle with. That matters more than romance. And his practical and intellectual sobriety can influence his relationships. Smart guys are the best 🎉
Sheen: keeps stealing glances at Ali, is clearly more emotionally attached, takes care of him, keeps dropping suggestive hints, have that tiny bit of hope for some emotional answer of any emotional response... But washes away those feelings as she clearly knows Ali is rational, practical, and never gonna give any emotional stuff much priority... and she really respects his boundaries... Great understanding!
The woman is very intelligent and emotionally mature (which is inspiring) so knows how to get her way. Its such a typical rom com plot. But they give me such Penny Sheldon vibes.
Ali adds a lot of caveats when explaining his success (tons of work, luck and unfair advantages) which are all very sobering, but he ultimately forgets to mention what I believe is also crucial when trying to understand how a single person can be so productive: he does not have a romantic partner (and does not seem to miss having one, which might be related to his still strong attachment to his mom, but that's a different story). Having to negotiate a big chunk of your time and energy is part and parcel of any romantic relationship and that immediately downgrades your productivity by a whole lot. Contrary to relationships to roommates and moms, one can't just reply to an invitation - not always anyway - like he does in this video, "I'll see if I want to hang out with you later". You can see that Sheen didn't love hearing that, and a gf would simply not tolerate that attitude, at least not for long or not without weakening their bond. With that being said, I believe if Ali were to be in a successful romantic relationship he'd still be massively productive, just a bit closer to human standards.
Ali you remind me of Sheldon when he was little. You are the version i would have expected Little Sheldon to grow up to be :) Logical, clear-headed, open to warmth, a good friend.
The friendship you two share with each other is very sweet . FRIENDS with someone who tries to understand and help you is a gift in the modern society.
I have never seen someone have a more healthy approach to feedback than Ali. In these videos, people are pretty honest - and he takes it on in the best way. I genuinely think this is your best trait, Ali.

So, Ali ignores people to stay focused on what he's doing, does not spend a lot of time chatting and conversing (do you have lunch with people at all?), he rationalises and asks what's daunting about something that makes one anxious (break it down, making it look more manageable, since all the parts are manageable), shows one does not need to be perfect to be hyper-productive (disorder in the house, controlled warcraft; but I wonder how order on notion and disorder in the house can live together in one mind), that he does not miss people or think about them much, even in their presence, he seems also ver unemotional and detached, and mainly focused on making his current and next move in life successful.
Never thought I'd enjoy a sentimental sort of video this much. Somehow, despite a lot of people commenting on Ali's behavior or whatever I think it was very relatable for me personally, love his personality really. Would definitely like to see more of mealtime videos. 💜
