Always like watching your videos, keep it going!
I really like the presentation as well as your fairness.
Do a 3 or 6 month update, I want MS to have a fair chance to really update the software as people use this thing. I'm actually tempted to put away the iPhone for this, and I'm a proper Apple Fangirl.
I gotta say. I've had mine since day 1 and it's addictive. I mean that in a good way. If you have a lot to do, this makes it easy. Start with a single screen and use the second for reference. I'd recommend some of those concerned should also watch scaryifliteral, he has some good information on the device.
It probably needs two gyroscopes - one for each half that contains a screen.
I think that should fix it.
How stupid is that to have an exosceleton but you have to take it apart to change the SIM. I have a similar exosceleton for my Huawei Mate Xs. But it features a cut out for the SIM tray
I didn't look into the bumper too deeply in the video, so I just believed what I saw online. I put the bumper on after the video was over, and the SIM slot is accessible, unlike what I said and read online. There's a flap that can be pulled back in that place.
I just don't understand how one of the world's biggest software companies would release something with so many bugs.
I'm tempted to reset the device and start fresh, no restores or anything, and see if it's any better....
@@JordanKeyes I've seen the same experience on multiple reviews. I have a feeling this is why Microsoft didn't allow any reviews with the screen on until the device was already out.
All the reviews I saw from early reviewers talked about "prerelease software", making it sound like it might get better over time. Here's hoping...
@@JordanKeyes I have no doubt Microsoft will eventually resolve most, if not all, of the issues. I'm just shocked they even released it with so many bugs in the first place. Like even the OneNote app?! Their own first party app is buggy on their own optimized software.
thanks

Do a drop test
That would make for one very expensive paperweight.
The one device where they could've pushed windows on ARM aggressively goes to Android. Wow!
They're trying that with the Surface Pro X, but it seems like they're just sort of testing the waters there.
@@JordanKeyes that hardware is too gorgeous to be wasted on half- heated MS apps, but this hardware would actually encourage people to use cut down MS/Office apps! What say?
3rd review I've seen today that basically says this device is garbage.
I've had it since day 1. This thing is not garbage.
@@wasteland8336 I've seen 6 reviews that say otherwise. I'm glad you're having a better experience
@@jorgem50 Thank you, it's really a nice device. I haven't put it down much at all.
Great Video and good review! Btw here's your first video with you on XDA hah...Thought it was a bit fun:

Hah, that's a great throwback, thanks for sharing it! Weird to think that more time has passed since I quit working there, than when I actually worked there. I was with them for right at 4 years, and it's now been 4 years and 5 months since I left.
It's expensive but I think for me it's cool.👍🔥🔥
well it doesn't have 1 external screen ....it has 2 external screens :P .....that can also be internal screens
Hm, you're not wrong. I've been testing this morning just leaving it flipped open the opposite way, and it looks like the screen does wake up and shows the notification, so that's an option.
Sorry for myself I just cannot see spending $1,400 on a device like that I guess some things are just not that important to me plus I tend to buy what I need instead of what I want
Definitely a lot of money to drop on a first generation device.
Eh.. I'm gonna pass on this, I don't know why Microsoft would release a product that's half baked and for that price.
Why don't microsoft dies.. Bro?
