    I really think they need to open the clinic that they will be having soon. I really think that a low-cost clinic that really cost really low will help out so many animals and owners because everything is so expensive. We need Low Cost very very low course. Animal Care you go to the doctor some doctors charge you $75 just for office visit some charger $125emergency rooms are 250 if you trying to see a specialist a lot

    I don't know why people get dogs and can't take care of them. My family has had rescue dogs my whole life and I had two of my own and the only reason I have one now is because the other one passed away at 15. I could never ever give up a dog that I own under any circumstances. They are like family to me. Too many people get dogs as a temporary companion and then dump them off in a shelter whenever they're not convenient anymore. It's disgusting. It's the same reason we have legions of disrespectful kids now. The same way people can't even raise a dog they can't raise their kids anymore either.

      I'd rather see someone attempt to love and care for animal and fail than to not try its not for everyone and unfortunately even moreso its not everyone's time to take on pets. We should never stigmatize getting help of any kind. Why do you think SOME dump animals. Embarrassment, being ashamed, seeing and hearing people make comments about how nasty humans are for rehoming or last resort use a shelter.

      Exactly!!! I hear this all the time here in Philly .our shelters are overwhelmed as well. I was talking to this lady ( literally a stranger) and she was telling me how her&hubby have a yard etc..but they got denied for a dog that cost 300$ to adopt. It's one of those specialty dog places..they had the money and still got turned down.

    • @Renzoluis99
      @Renzoluis99 Місяць тому +2

      I was denied for a small dog because I am a single man in an apartment. Keep in mind I had my own dog for 14 years before he passed and I raised him in my apartment and gave him the best life I could give. I cooked for him. We went on bike rides together all over. I ended up buying a puppy again. Adoption is not worth the trouble. They told me they wanted that dog to go to a family with kids and offered me a pit bull. 😒 Let's see if that family cooks every meal for the dog like I did for mine.

    If they will give me the money, I will run a Low Cost Animal hospital and make sure that all the animals get the best healthcare. The prices out here right now is ridiculous and even if you do make a decent income, it still cost too much we do not want these babies to end up in shelters. We need to do better and that starts with hospitals, Low healthcare for them and I know because I’ve been in the field for a long time. I worked at multiple hospitals and it is expensive. I watch owners cry front of me because they can’t afford to pay the bill. Come on we need to do better if we don’t want this to continue then we need to really help pet owners so they can keep they four legged babies inside the household. I really believe most of them that’s in the shelter is because of medical bills. If you are disgusting by this, let’s do something about this. We need Affordable affordable healthcare for all animals. I’m sitting here writing this and I’m upset even my cat is looking at me because she can feel my energy and I’m not only speaking about affordable. I’m one of the people that needed myself. My cat is looking at me right now. She have cancer if anybody out there I had a cat or dog that been through cancer 😢😢you know how much the hospital bills cost me and she’s not the first one that I had to pay. We need to do better. 😢🦋🐾🐾🐾🐾

    I love animals. I have 4 cats, and two dogs. All of them I got from the street. I wish I could get all of them but that's impossible. How is it humane to keep animals in cages for months, or years? The only way to help them is to ? after 6 months and keep bringing more animals. People like little dogs, and cats and once they grow up they get rid of them. My six children were spaded, and vaccinated. All those people thinking it's ok to have these angels in cages some of them for years should try to be in cage and find out how that feels.

      @@hamdiben8163 because that's why there are so many strays. People take animals they can't afford or take care of. They like puppies but get rid of them when they grow up. I can afford my four cats and the two dogs I got from the street. They needed to be vaccinated, neutered, bathed, and given lots of love. If the government would neuter street animals, there wouldn't be so many. People act like there isn't a problem, and having them caged for years is OK, maybe you should try to live in a cage for a while and see how that feels. solutions to the problem is what's needed not pretending to love animals and not do a thing about it. I'm doing my part, and it's expensive. This is exactly why this country is so messed up, instead of trying to get a solution and talk people get mad.

      So that small dogs and cat aren't "adopted" to be used as bait-animals for dogfights, to be ripped apart to "train" the contenders, or sold to research facilities to be experimented on.
      There was a woman not that long ago who was notorious for going to "free kittens!" houses, getting one or more, then selling them in bulk to a research facility.

      Was it an accidental litter conceived during some freak accident in which your dog escaped that occurred before the spay/neuter appointment(s) that you scheduled for your dog(s)?Did you adopt a pregnant dog or take in an entire preexisting family of pit bulls? It must be one of those three reasons right? Otherwise, your negligence led to the creation of dogs that you were not capable of keeping or caring for yourself during a time when animal overpopulation is an epidemic (especially when they're a type of dog that is notoriously [and wrongly] unwanted).
      No sane, intelligent, responsible human being would do that though, right? Soooo... It must be one of those reasons. Irresponsibly making a bunch of dogs and then getting upset and confused when others won't take the responsibility off of your hands as soon as it's not profitable or easy for you anymore would be a disgusting thing for someone to do. Especially if that someone was trying to dump those dogs onto an already overworked and overfull shelter. That couldn't be you though, because you're a good person, and good people don't do things like that right?
      FTR, I hope that my sarcasm is completely unwarranted. I hope I am wrong, and that it actually is one of the first options. My experiences lead me to believe that I'm not wrong though...
