I carried out a very thin chained up Doberman once, she did nothing but give me kisses. I was strong as can be then. Wish I could still do it.

I fostered for years for a local rescue, I pick up stray cats in my neighborhood and get them fixed and take care of them or try to get them adopted through a rescue. My shelter rescue dog passed away 2 months ago. My next dog will also come from a shelter. I also volunteer for rescue transports. If you can't foster or donate, check in with local rescues, see what you can do. Volunteer to transport dogs, it only takes a few hours out of your weekend. There is a lot everyone can do!!

I feel that the obscene amounts of money sloshing about, spent/ wasted and Lavished on extravagance, greed and frippery, could help All these poor Innocent and Vulnerable Souls. It seems such a waste, and so corrupt, and Unjust. As previously stated, Many Celebs - and others - could donate thousands / millions and write it off as tax allowances! They wouldn't miss it. I feel many of us would rescue even more, if we had the land. We have a good size garden, full of beautiful trees, but with a small holding of land, we could rescue more, and larger animals such as horses, or save abused farm animals. Life without Mercy shown to God's beautiful gift of animals is so cruel and inhumane. It feels so good to know, there are many like minded sensitive empaths about. He’s from Bosnia. There is no such a thing as help from government over there. One of the poorest countries in the Europe, lots of corruption and nepotism. Stray dogs are literally all over the place.
This is something I’d do if I was a billionaire. Build a huge ranch for all rescues. This guy is a hero in my book. Edit: I appreciate the likes! I do volunteer and donate when I can, but some of y’all are under the impression that starting a rescue ranch is easy for only a few hundred grand that I just happen to have laying around lol some of y’all live in a box
You don't have to have billions to help though. Even small support adds up. Help someone to pay for veterinary care, to pay for neuter/spay, vaccinations, or for food for the pups they love if they are struggling financially. I know homeless people who have chosen to stay unhoused because they couldn't find a home that would accept them With their dog.

Ovamo je teska situacija, psi su na ulici nakon sterilizacije, jako su mirni i nažalost ljudi ih udaraju, često stradaju i od automobila. Trudim se pomoći za drugi gradski azil, jer im fali prostor. Ali ovo što ti radiš je nešto iznad svega sto sam vidjela u nasoj Bosni. People please donate to this guy, because there is no law there to protect stray dogs, no help from autorities too... 💔
