- We're finally back! This week we compare the all new 2019 Ram 1500 5.7L with the 2018 Ford F-150 5.0L with a Kunes Country Prize Fight!
2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn
5.7L (no eTorque)
8-Speed Automatic
3.92 Gears
2018 Ford F-150 Lariat
5.0L
10-Speed Automatic
3.55 Gears
We would have liked to match the gear ratio better but these were the vehicles we had available to us. Both trucks had around 4-5k miles on the odometor.
Thanks for watching! - Авто та транспорт
I like them both, the problem is I can't afford either one.
Rob Bishop realest stuff I ever read

Please don’t get discouraged and buy a Tacoma... please no.

I like how you guys get right to the damn point just race!!!
Right. So annoying when people purposely DRAG out a drag race just to get more ad revenue out of UA-cam. Stop explaining we already know!
Fr bro
So with new F-150 I can deliver plywood faster.. good.. I will take that one
And more of it, with the highest payload rating of any half-ton.
Lmao
Yes...and Ford kinda ticks me off with putting a v6 in the dang trucks when I want to haul a heavy load cuz it won't handle it like my 09 with the 5.4 will. Crazy move just to save gas. Is much rather have my 97 to 2001 f350 with the 7.3 diesel again for hauling stuff but they are expensive as all get out to find right now. Folks are asking the same.prices for them now as what they originally sold for back in the day. CRAZY. I still.like the gas engines just not as much due to longevity
Little Shepherd Farm You have never driven a 2.7 v6. My 2016 F165 will spank your old a$$ 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.
Yeah I don't get it neither one of these trucks are fast powerful but not fast oh and loud nice 2019 Dodge Ram V6 here I just saved 15% on my car insurance
I rented a 2018 F150 on June when I was in Canada for a 1500 miles 4 days road trip. Same configuration as here, 5.0 engine and 10 speed auto.
As a French guy, I've never seen a F150 before (we don't have trucks here), and it was amazing ! Very easy to drive, a good acceleration (0-60 in 6,5 sec) and a good V8 sound !
Very pleasant to drive
@@jamartin005 not the 5.0 they do that on the EcoBoost
@@jamartin005 wtf how come ive never heard of this
@@jamartin005
That's not true! The EcoBoost have the artificial sound but not the 5.0
You don't have trucks in France?
That's only on the v6.
One Word.......Aluminum. With basically the same engine output the much lighter F150 will win every time
Second word transmission. 10spd vs 8spd a good shifting transmission can be a whole world of difference. I once watch a 5.7L Hemi 6spd get walked buy a 3.6L Pentastar 8spd. Hemi had 390hp and 407tor well the pent only has 305hp and 269tor. The weight within a 200lbs of each other.
@@foxwithshades7080 While I don't disagree with you the truth is Ford is a lighter truck. That will win all the time. Aluminum body is really nice and light weight. I have a 2018 Ram 5.7 and I love it. I've lined up with a 2018 Ford Roush (NOT super charged) and 2018 Toyota Tundra 5.7. From stop to 90MPH: I beat the Tundra by almost 2 truck lengths, the Ford I was even with (Ford was ahead like 1 foot maybe). EDIT: The Roush is heavier due to all the extras.
@@foxwithshades7080 Maybe, the Ram is running a beefed up ZF 8HP which one of the fastest shifting Automatics out there. Probably just weight difference, I think the Ram is also slightly larger too.
@@DragonKnightX12 still not as fast as a pdk dct which the ford ten speed will shift about 35% faster than
Sean Stanek lmo Then why did they put a DCT in the Shelby GT500?
The Ford/GM 10-speed was built primarily to match performance with better Fuel Eco. The 10th gear is exclusively a highway cruising gear.
The Ford is also about 300lbs lighter and the 5.0 is a DOHC which are a lot more efficient than the old push rod design.
Kinda sad how many people don’t understand the difference 800lbs makes😂
🤔🤔🤔🤔
Less weight more hp more torque 🤷♀️
Exactly!!! HP to weight ratio. Why do people think most drag cars are tiny vehicles with oversized engines.
I have a 2012 ford f150 fx4 5.0 v8 and have smoked my friends 2016 single cab 5.7 hemi many times.. this was before fords aluminum body
Ford can keep their aluminum trucks. I like the look of them well enough, but don't care for the aluminum bodies. I'll stick to Dodge.
That 5 liter coyote is a monster
Its growls with the push of the pedal.
I have a 2017 F-150 XLT 5.0 V8 2WD supercab "work truck". The curb weight is 4,200 LBS. This 33,000 $ truck is faster than the 80,000 $ Raptor. The thing is a complete sleeper. No decals or graphics, just plain white. 0 to 60 is 5.2 with stock everything. I'm sure it could be sub 5 seconds with better tires and dual exhaust. But it's fine how it is, and the factory single exhaust sounds great.
It sure is mate. I have a 2011 Ford F150 with a 5.0L Coyote V8 in it and it's a beast.
I have an 18 coyote f150 no truck can beat me yet any brand i love it that coyote its a beast
@@michoacanom4320 Sounds awesome man.
I’ve hauled my tracer travel trailer on my Ford F-150 2017 5.0 coyote from anchorage to Mexico Mexicali round trip drive like a champ no issues at all I love it!
The f150 (regardless of engine) is even faster in manual mode, it lets you take the rpm up another 800ish rpm before shifting, but you have to practice timing because it takes a long time to shift after you press the button. But once you get the timing down, it’s awesome. Doesn’t work like that in the other trucks out there. They have manual mode but it only lets you shift same as auto. Also it’s faster when you press the traction control button for 6 seconds and defeat stability control too.
The 5.0 may be faster when shifted at higher rpm, but the Ecoboost engines are faster if left to shift lower.
The current iteration of the Ford 5.0 is a true gem. Everyone take note.
No
I have one and its the worst pos ive ever drove
@@mysterysolver514I’m a ford guy but I do think dodge has better trucks. Look at the raptor r vs the trx. Yes ford is definitely faster but no one is actually racing trucks, now pull 15k on each car or do a tug of war and the dodge will win.
@@markelraya10 i traded that 5.0 f150 for a ram rebel gt with etorque and probably a bit slower cause its heavy and lifted on 35 but it does drive really well and tows awsome and straight.and towing with the ford was bit scary cause its so light you feel the trailer moving around. Worst about the ford was that transmission, it made a shitload of noise like cluncking, also when cold it would rattle any time you let go the gas pedal. Touch screen would get really hot for no reason like you would expect it to melt. Keep in mind it was a 2020 f150. I had a 2016 ecoboost before, was leaking water inside the floor. Took them 4-5 trr to fix it. Wipers motor failed 2 times. Turbo failed a around 110 000 km and the manifold too. All around really bad trucks
@@mysterysolver514 yeah the 10 speed transmission is terrible, I’ve heard this guy that didn’t do anything heavy with his new f150 10 speed truck had to get his transmission rebuilt 2 times. The only thing I would buy from ford is their mustangs and possibly the ford fusion. But even on the mustangs the 10r80 is terrible at shifting. They force you to tune the vehicle.
As of 2023 I’m a ram guy, no particular reason but just because I’ve never owned one and the 2500’s have caught my eye for a few years now. That aside you don’t want to mess with those 5.0 F-150’s that’s a fast truck right out of the box.
trucks weren't made to race anyways, ask that 5.0 to a tug of war and walk that ford back to it's dealership haha
Haha no buddy sorry it would not happen like that.....
It's great to read all the positive comments about the F150. I've had two 5.0's and I can't wait to buy my next one. Don't understand why the Ford always seems to get bashed...
Cuz hatter’s gonna hate

That doesn't change that it's still one of the biggest pos v8's to ever get sent across the assembly line.
It all stems from the 6.0 diesel fiasco. One of the most expensive vehicle issues ever in human history. But if you watch the 6.0 perfect storm videos. You learn it was an international engine and the problem was caused by the government emissions regulations.
The coyote motor is no joke and responds to mods way easier then just about anything else around. Can’t wait for this big 7l that are coming for these trucks

I have a 2017 5.0 f150 and love it.
I just bought a 2019 Ram, so far I’m liking it and the hem I has a lot more acceleration than my 2006 Ford F-150 5.4, that doesn’t say much.
I also test drive a 5.0 Ford F-150, it had more get up and go and a little nicer ride. The reason I didn’t buy it over the Ram was simply because of incentives and $7000 more for the f-150. Ram is issuing big incentives right now
You'll hate yourself later for buying the cheaper truck!
No he wont.
No you wont these rams are nice and have power
Mc Rangel Vlogs so far my Ram has 64,000 miles on it. The AC went out and the manifold gasket posts broke, the manifold was covered by warranty and I had to pay $1000 for a new AC condenser. I’m so far liking the Ram and know that stuff can go wrong on them all. My friend bought a new 1 ton Denali last year, we went ice fishing and the transmission went out with only 21,000 miles. So there is no perfect truck.

It was close, F-150 should have 10 speed advantage...good for Ford.
thats one of them but there's more .
tallll70 Wasn’t close, 1st race Ram got the jump and the F150 drove around the Hemi. About .8 tenths and 7-8 mph between these two trucks, The 5.0 is much quicker
I read the description before watching the video and had my money on the F150. I'm actually kind of impressed the Ram kept up as well as it did.
An 8 speed with a 3.92 rear end vs a 10 speed with 3.55s? The Ford has every advantage it needs to win and the Ram kept up admirably.

i do like the 5.7 hemi for towing.
Same here man! Always been a Ford fan, but when I drove the Ram it just felt nicer, with nicer interior....and the Hemi Etorque is a unique approach to economy!
The F150 actually tows better. I just got rid of my 5.7 bc it’s not even a fair comparison lol.

I’m surprised. I’ve owned trucks with these engines. The Ram felt much quicker but who cares when the Ford gets significantly better gas mileage than the Ram? I’ll take the Ford anyway because of the huge savings at the pump.
Probably because the Ford is much smoother and doesn't have to make as much noise/ struggle
If you are concerned about MPGs turn in your Man card.
That's a very fair answer, and that's why most people select a Ford. That's why I decided to get one. (I bought thirteen trucks in the last 15 years; I'm going to save as much money as I can.) Though when a job needs doing I'll take a RAM any day.
Just get a old 5.9 cummins 20-30 mpg
Ford is made from aluminum, while the Ram is pulling near solid steel. Love both brands, but keep in mind this is no one-to-one test

@Tommy Jenkins Both have 395 HP.
The axle ratio makes a huge difference in the ram a 3.55ratio is 1.35 second slower then 3.92ratio
People ALWAYS FORGET THIS!
And to think, elsewhere on this platform are tests showing the 5.0 is the slowest of the three Ford F-150 powertrains. With a minimal tune they can get the 3.5L Ecoboost to a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds, with the 2.7L Ecoboost just a couple ticks behind. Personally I'd buy the 5.0 and get an inexpensive Kenne Bell or Roush Supercharger and then it would be game over.
They never mention what gear ratio each truck is running which came make a huge difference if they aren't close to the same.
I am a ford F 150 owner but I still have respect for ram and its HD line. However, reading all this crap and excuses about the tires being too big realy is anoying. It makes dodge boys sound like pouty little kids.
Yeah, let's just ignore all the panty wearing Ford "men" who trash Ram because in their delusion they think Ford is better.
I also think no one realizes the Ford V8 has a bore spacing of 3.94, where as the Ram V8 has a bore spacing of 4.46. Bore spacing is the distance between the centers of 2 pistons. The Ford's bore is 3.63, whereas the Ram's bore is 3.92. Simply put, the coyote is a maxed out dohc baby jaguar v8, while the hemi is a simple, reliable pushrod v8 on economy tune.
As long as it doesn't blow spark plugs out like the old Modular 5.4 (and to a lesser degree the 4.6L) the lifetime maintenance cost will be similar. If you keep the Ford a long time you will be replacing cam phasers and probably the timing chain. The Hemi has not been stellar long term with alot of cam/lifter issues. A pushrod engine should be lower maintenance but that has not been the actual experience with these engines.

How many cracked manifold bolts on those Triton engines? And heater core replacement? I know both issues cost me a wad of bills on my '99 F150.
Every Ford I owned broke down all the time and leaked oil from the start
How the hell does Ford pull that much power out of a 5.0? Chevy should take note.
They essentially employed a lot of the technology Japanese 4 and 6 cylinder engines have been using for years to get more power out of small displacement engines on a small block V8... double overhead cam, variable cam/valve timing etc.
Direct Injection and higher compression ratio. It's also now 307 cu inches.

I have a 22 Ram 1500 Limited e-tq though I'd be happy with it because it is a great looking truck and figured it would be a good step up from the 2017 F-150 with the little 2.7 eco. But unfortunately I've not been impressed. Put in my order for a new f-150 limited 5.0 less then a month ago waiting for it to arrive to replace the 22 Ram. The Ram has great low end tq but beyond that it's gutless in comparison and what has really killed me on it is how it feels under load with the coil spring rear suspension it's a very unstable feel the 4 corner air helps but not enough. The transmission is sluggish at finding the right gear on demand.
Ford can make the 5.0 outdo most of its competitors and its the smallest engine out of all of them. It can’t outdo the hellcat or demon no but keep in mind as to the factors like how the engine is bigger in a hellcat and demon and they are supercharged too so I mean the 5.0 is doing outstanding
Look up tune f150 ecoboost running 12 sec 1/4 miles that's jus behind hellcat and a f150 is not made to race but let ford put in gearing for racing see you later hellcats

This was not a fair comparison. From the way the Ram launched in that video, it definitely had the 3:21 rear end, which is most common on that truck. I owned the F150 Platinum 5.0 with the 3:55 rear for three years and now I have a 2019 Ram Limited 5.7 with the 3:92 rear. The Ram is definitely quicker than my F150 was! Especially off the line with the 3:92 gears!! If I slam the gas pedal from a stop in my Ram, the 3:92 will smoke the tires! If I feather it, it launches way better than my Ford did.
That Ram in that video definitely had the 3:21 rear end, which is why the Ford beat it. I had both trucks. My F150 Platinum with the 5.0 and 3:55 rear end would never get below 7 secs 0-60, usually about 7.2 secs. My 2019 Ram Limited with 5.7 and 3:92 rear end does 0-60 in 6.8 secs. I test drove several 2019 Rams with the 5.7 and 3:21 rear end, and they were slow. The Rams with the 3:92 rear end are really hard to find, but when I finally found and test drove one with the 3:92 rear end, I was instantly sold! The truck was way quicker off the line and would slam you back into your seat! The Ford never slammed me back in the seat.
There's allot to be said for gearing. With the HP & Torque numbers so close between these two engines, I think it might be a much closer or maybe pretty even outcome if they both had the same exact rear end ratios.
On another note, my F150 Platinum had cheap materials on the interior and was a fat sloppy pig as far as handling goes. F150 quality wasn't too good either. This new Ram is light years ahead of Ford on handling, comfort, quality, fit & finish.
Isn’t the f150 a 10 speed that’s where that slight edge coming from both great trucks
Ram is a 8 speed.
Whats the gearing in both? The ram from its tallest to shortest rear end makes around a 1 sec difference in 0-60 times which is huge. I'm sure its close to that for the ford as well.

Had a 2018 f150 5.0 but man that thing was riddled with issues, loved the power when getting on it. Moved on to a 22 RAM 1500 night edition the difference in ride quality alone is insane, power feels good and feels better delivered in the 8 speed than the 10 speed (doesn’t feel like it’s hunting for gears). And I am a true believer in the sound of a hemi.
I love that hemi with that 8 speed transmission. I miss mine, I had so many issues with my 2014 Ram, I got rid of it and swore Ram off. But I miss that powertrain, and thinking of giving them another shot.
@@virgillivingston8079 solid trucks in my opinion. Nothing will be perfect, I’ve had to bring the RAM in to the dealer as well but there was a massive difference, wasn’t told “we couldn’t replicate the issue” RAM actually cared enough to take in my feedback and fixed the issue I was having. Customer service goes along way when it comes to sticking to a brand.
@@NctsfeAlpha yea I really think it’s hit or miss with any of the big manufactures. It’s been almost 5 years so my sourness has worn off some. Plus with the 22 Ram, this Generation has been out a while, so in theory most of the problems have been worked out.
I know how quick the 5.7 Hemi is . Damn that new 5.0 must be something!
It is.Especialy in sport mode.
Preston Ashbrook Both Ecoboosts are faster
My question is during this race, was the f150 in sport mode? Coming from a f150 owner
It's awesome that the 5.0L Coyote V8 makes the same amount of Horsepower as the 5.7L Hemi V8 in the Ram with only 10 Ibs of torque less then the 5.7L Hemi V8 in the ram.
It comes down to the gearing
Second II None It comes down to that Fiat Dodge getting its butt kicked.
@@melrose9252 well according to this video it didnt
I love the 5.7L but it is 10 years old..need to revamp.
No surprise there. Everyone knows that Dodge engines arent worth a crap and underpowered unless they add a supercharger. There isn't one Dodge that can outrun a Ford or Chevy that is in the same class that doesn't have a supercharger. For example.....the Challenger R/T gets smoked by the Mustang GT and Camaro SS. All 3 cars are naturally aspirated.
I'm so proud to own the 5.0 👌
Why? Its not like you taked part in the develloppement
not only the ram is slow it sucks at towing and it has the worst crash rating and out of all the trucks the F150 has the best crash rating.
First On Race Day
John Cosico found on road dead
Just hauled 15k with my 2018 ram with. 5.7 yesterday day. It hauls 15k fsr on better than my buddies 2019 f150 only hauling 9k. Ford is junk and has been junk for a long time.
matt dyer Cool story bro.
Sad ram only make 10 more ftlbs with nearly 50 more cubic inches
simper fi the new 19 ram isn’t on the same level as the 18 as far as performance
0
@@silence3314 I would think the 10 speed tranny would give the F-150 quicker acceleration vs the Ram 8 speed.
George Boyer it does. I was just saying the 4th gen rams perform better than the 5th gens. The new e-torque is cool but it doesn’t do anything too end
@@silence3314 I agree with your observation, and I predict the 2020 Ram's will be slower. My point, although not well worded, was the vehicle with fewer cubic inches used his transmission to out accelerate the Ram.
My son has the coyote in his 2019 f150 it is quick, doesn’t have the torque of my eco boost but it gets up and goes.
jay lamb your son has an f150 2019???
I like how the engine is smaller and makes just as much power. Shows how good ford is
Jschlatt Funny Mic its not because the truck is made so much better, its because ford chooses to use aluminum which is lighter therefore letting the f150 take a slight advantage
+Jonah Bennett Well, it is, LOL.
Woo Hoo!! Your'e Back!
I want both so I'm just happy to see the video
DODGE going to put HELLCAT in the RAM then FORD put the SUPER CHARGER on the 5.0 that would make for one HELL of a race
Ford they already have that f150 shelby with 5.0 supercharge 755hp
My F 150 Tonka will kill a hellcat.
That Dodge just lost 10k in resale value.
Need to match the vehicles exactly. The two shown, RAM curb weight, 5372 lbs, before the aftermarket oversize tires and wheels. The F-150 4800 lbs with standard width wheels and tires. Evenly matched the RAM will win. And the Ford, still a Ford. Expensive and unreliable.
The ford requires a full engine rebuild that goddamb 5.0 is nothing but problems! I feel sorry for those that have purchased a newer vehicle with the 5.0......Serious issues with the coyotes....
Your mom lost 10k of her value
@The94GTC I'd love my 69 Road Runner, 383 back, sold in 1995, bought it 1978. Now have a 67 Charger 440. Nothing like the rumble under a classic Mopar.
@@Evillt1 Hemis have way more problems
Ram had a huge advantage with the 3.92 gears, props to the 5.0 for pulling away, the weigh difference is significant too ( TheFord being aluminum).
The F150 is 200 lbs. lighter then the Ram.
@@benjaminwayneb and it still managed to beat it with .7 less liters of displacement lol
Actually no dodge didn’t have the 3.92 gears in that body style. It was 3.42
Ram looks way better. Such a good looking truck.
They let the Ford win. You can clearly see the ram is in front in both races then surprisingly looses. 2nd race, why is the rams front end down like they hit the brakes.
I thought I was the only one who noticed. The rams front end actually leaped forward when the driver let off the gas. I love Ford though so this is an unbiased observation
Excuses excuses come on... I own a 04 Dodge Ram not the best choice of truck. The first and last Dodge I will ever own
2004 - 2019 is 15 years. It's quite amazing you think an 04 RAM is anywhere near a modern one, but hey what do I know? It's not like I've had seven RAMs across the years or anything. Five of them are still fully operational. The only reason two are not is because one's a crushed pile of scrap after a nasty car accident and the other's sitting at the bottom of a lake. In case you wanted to know that.
I was expecting the ram to win while I was rooting for the ford
Ram has significantly bigger/off-road tires which weight a lot more than the Ford's "stock" looking/near road-tires. Takes more power to get them turning.
Second, did you have the Ram in Tow-Haul mode? That changes the spark curve and shift points pretty significantly to make it accelerate quicker.
Third, did you know, it is ILLEGAL to drive a car on a runway of an airport? You can drive all day long on the taxiway, but the runway, even on a small/privately owned one with no control tower, has to stay open for emergency landings per FAA rules. The only way you can legally drive on the runway is to notify the FAA the airport is "closed" for a period of time when you will be on it, or for one with a control tower, the tower can broadcast the runway closure.
There's no replacement for displacement....wait, nevemind
10 gears vs 8
A 4 cam 32V VCT high rpm 5.0 can simply move more air fuel and exhaust than a 5.7 Hemi with a great valve design and airflow for an old school cam in block engine. Aluminum cab,and body and an efficient 10 speed help as well. Remember at anything less than fulll throttle and 4000 rpm the. Hemi has a huge torque advantage in daily driving and towing.....
The tranny's aren't that different. both first gears are absurdly low. The F-150 is about 200lbs trimmer though, with more hp at the wheels and a significantly higher red line. That 5.0 is an alloy intake away from a race motor, lighter crank, direct injection, high pressure fuel pump. The Ram wasn't really comparing apples to apples. There's a reason the incentives are so huge on Rams, as they are less expensive to build in the first place, so the manufacturer has the flexibility.
how do you expect to beat an aluminum 5L Ford v8 with a 10 speed automatic transmission? it’s built all around much better than the Rams or GMs
We have both of these trucks lol great race thank y’all
They are both awesome trucks, thanks for watching!
I’m surprised I thought the ram with each new lighter weight truck may nip out the Ford......Now we just need to see you test one of the F150 eco-boosts, I don’t think it matters if it’s a 2.7 or 3.5 they’re both about the same in the quarter mile versus the 6.2 L GM 1500s
John DiMartino, Ford Ecoboost is one of the worlds greatest gimmicks. Eco boost is a pos! And proven to get smoked by Chevy and hands down Dodge.
kenny Tee lol. I suggest you do a bit more research..
research what?that every ford built after the 1930s is a nazi windfall?.......lmfao if you ford lovers only knew
Yup the 5.7 will never beat the 5.0 cause its heavier and not as quick and the 3.5 lt EcoBoost is even more powerful and even way better on fuel;)ford all the way
Even if the F-150 was slower, I'd still choose it because it doesn't have a transmission built by Fiat.
That aluminum body!!! Made a huge difference
Until it gets hit
Excuses
Alright, that F-150 can fly I’ll give you that. But I’ll still take my Ram home
If it makes it home lol rams are such junk unfortunately I work on all the brands and hands down dodge has the worst reliability of the big 3 and thats facts.you can post back all you want I am wrong but facts are facts.
@@victorgirouard1543 yeah maybe from 10 years ago. In the last 5 years RAM outperforms F150 in reliability ratings. Actually Chevy outperforms F150 as well. Do the homework.
@@stevesmyth5673 wow your sad if you really belive that . Think what you want I repair these vechiles everyday I know what's what.
Pretty good even with less torque the Ford has that 10 speed and a lot less weight so it makes sense the 5.7 is no slouch tho it was pretty close that first race I’d like to see the 5.7 hemi with a 10 speed and maybe an all aluminum body with better aerodynamics and maybe a little numb in horsepower maybe like 410 or something
FORD
My 1997 truck has 348,900 miles on it and not even a tap !😎
As it should be. And you never hear of a Ford cam going flat.
No they blow up from gulping the oil until it runs out unexpectedly
@@jasonyoung4890 never heard or saw that. That's only idiots who don't bother checking their oil.
Yep the lighter truck won, but I would still take the Dodge over the Ford for gravel road driving. It’s more stable. The Ford tends to fish tail.
F-150❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can we see a Titan vs Ram?
I love all trucks but my favorite truck of all time, is the one I own.

Good job Kunes. Love the straight up format. It's not surprising result with the weight advantage. I'd take the Ram for the interior.
Id take the ford for speed power looks and reliability
@@MrInzombia
Definitely not looks. That's a joke. Speed? Half a length? Ok bud. Ram interior is far nicer and ride quality is incomparable with Rams 5 link 4 coil suspension.
Love my V8 RAM Rebel 1500.
I'm a Mopar guy, but I gotta hand it to Ford on this one. The lighter weight definitely gave it an advantage here. Guess that was enough to make up for it's 10ftlb disadvantage.
also the 10 speed hooks up great with it.
Jonathan Garneau-Reid nah and the ram has a bigger engine too 5.7 vs 5.0
Lighter weight, better engine, better drivetrain. But Dodge has a nice interior.
agreed...
