Yes Darrell everything that I imagined you did, you put chrome hardware, you leave the bridge cover on and you also put some maple stuff in this build well done brother!!
Darell could you do a review on the the super v mag lock it’s made by the Same people as the blade runner tremelo and it’s supposed to solve the fatel flaw you mentioned in another video i wanna see if it really works sense it’s a hefty investment and if you could do a full review ide really apriciat it
Do they make locking tuners that are not staggered height? Also can you sell this guitar as a real fender since it has a serial number and you used fender parts?
Great build, heres a tip for putting in the ferrules in the back of the body, heat up a soldering iron and push them in. It heats up the wood and doesn’t damage the finish
Beautiful build; L-O-V-E that neck humbucker !!! Great tone from both pickups. BTW, I never fail to laugh watching your intro when you trip and fall in the snow after throwing that acoustic on the roof !!! Too funny !!!
Brother. I can't stress enough oh how well u run your channel in every way ur channel and format is just leaves above your competitors. I'm proud to be a subscriber and as always u are killing in the perfect tone department
Great video and I'm so glad there were some fixable issues you corrected on camera. I've made mental notes that sometimes a longer screw can make a difference and sanding the neck pocket is smarter than sanding the neck.
Thanks to you I bought my first guitar. It’s a fender Stratocaster it came with a case, pick, basic amp, cords, straps, and free 3 months lessons. Wasn’t my top choice but it was a great deal
Darrell, you should try installing the knobs with the screw fitting in between the 2 halves of the post. That way it won't be tilted. Beautiful guitar!
Darrel, you do know what you're doing and build beautiful guitars. But I install both E strings and check their spacing on the neck before I mount the bridge. Then line up the set screws in the knobs with the split in the pot shaft. That way the screws will seat themselves into the edge of the shaft and won't try to force the split closed. Beautiful guitar!!!
Darrell you have such great taste in guitar parts! You could make your whole channel just building partscasters. And then you could sell them when you're done with the video.
I know it is just two compatible pieces of wood for a guitar, but these 2 are tight and resonant. I like to say it's magic. It can have the specs, but sometimes they just sound right. That is a great guitar, Darrell.
It's funny how so many people on here are commenting on the aesthetics that are really minor. I find it really interesting that the guitar community is really overall stuck in the past. Everything has to either look like a Paul, a Tele or a strat. I guess it's because most people grow up with the fantasy in their mind of having one of those guitars so then as they grow older they can't get past that ideal. I for one am more into originality and mixing it up. Of course I want my guitar to sound great but I would also like it to look unique and not like everyone else's. Also isn't that the point of making your own guitar, so that you design it the way you want it to look? Whether it has a bezel or not or this or that or the other is besides the point. That only matters if you the individual are making the guitar and decide on those things. Overall great looking guitar... I'd be happy to have it just as is and also the tone was very thick, which should be the main concern overall else. Nice job! 👍😎🍺
Man Dangleglow Taste is entirely individual and while you or I may opt for something unique in body styles, Darrell opted for a traditional design but outrageous looking aesthetics. See, that is individual taste and an old Latvian taught me, "There's no accounting for another person's sense of taste!"
@@molochsorcery4357 yeah that's essentially what I said in my post. me personally I don't want a guitar that looks like everybody else is if I don't have to have it. I would like something that speaks more to my personal aesthetic but there is no right or wrong answer it's totally individualistic. my original comment was how so many people voiced their aesthetics instead of what should be the main concern of any instrument and that would be the sound.
@ANDREW BECKSTRAND nothing too deep about it just that I'm a multi-instrumentalist and I find that it's the guitar players by far more than any other instrument that are concerned with things other than the pure sound of the instrument. Aesthetics are all personal and I get that but you don't hear saxophone players and keyboard players talking about things the way guitarists do.
Nice build. A little shielding on the back of that bridge plate helps with the noise, and little beeswax on any screws or parts that go into the body prevent any future slippage or gaps that will allow wood to dry out, things like that. Looks like shielding paint in those cavities, I did a build and did both shielding paint and a second layer in some spots of copper foil, and the axe is as a sleeping kitten. Those are just little finishing touches that are kind of nice things, you never get that on a store-bought guitar. Nice build.
Beautiful tele, tip to foxy tail!!! I'm really lovin that channeled neck, looks so clean, and all wood! All the right parts in all the right places, well, eventually. If it went perfect I might be suspicious, or jealous, but not surprised!!! Thanks for your continued time and expertise!!!
I agree - it sounds beautiful, and has looks to match. The body is spectacular. Still don't like the wood insert in the neck pickup, but it sounds great!
Very much enjoyed watching this build getting a Telecaster myself very soon you did a nice job turned out to be a great guitar hope you have a blast with a buddy
The new axe looks and sounds great, Darrell. Congrats! You and I have some different tastes, of course. I would have gone with a Strat-style body (never was a fan of the Tele look), a vibrato over a hard tail, and maybe two humbuckers rather than one. If I did have single coils, the bridge pickup would still be a humbucker in my build, because even in my twenties, I didn't like the idea of a humbucker at the neck position with a single coil in the bridge spot. This is, however, why we have 10K styles of guitars out there, and why building your own can be so fulfilling. I have yet to take that plunge, so watching your videos on the subject provide instruction and inspiration to me. Thank you, and congrats again!
Very attractive T-style guitar! Sounds great too! A little old timers building tip, always use a mall amount of wax or even soap on the screw threads that are being set into wood. This will help prevent twisting off screws or stripping out the head, just makes everything easier.
Thanks great video. Nice sounding pickups. Please next video can you show more in details how you solder/conect the wires that would be very helpful. Its sad that many videos out there just leave out that part.
Wow, gorgeous guitar and build! The neck pick-up sounds so thick and amazing. Excellent job! I build Marshall Plexi re-pro's, and now it might be time to dive into a guitar build. You and Brad are inspiring me!
Man... I already loved your channel... having bumped into it, a few days ago.. in my quest for my 1st electric 6 string. This one made me a believer.. What a great tele project..! Just subscribed ! Kudos from Portugal !
Oh BABY! Enjoy the build!
Tones at 11:50 :)
Love this series Darrell! Beautiful guitar you’ve created.
I love that warm vintage tone...

Darrel Braun I had a really garbage day today and finally seeing this guitar come alive made it significantly better. Looks and sounds fantastic.
Finally? It's been 2 days
Callum Hayes crazy eh! I've got a build on here, started back around ... ohhhh ... 1985 or so ...
@@callumhayes9733 he showed off the body and was talking about it a month ago.
His attitude is just too amazing.
I love how happy and polite he always is.
Reminds me of Bob Ross a bit.
@@JimmyFeelsIt
He is so relaxed and chill
Furthermore he is a great builder and explains so clearly
My favorite channel
Happy 600k Darrell! Nothing like a new guitar to celebrate early
600k is probably the amount he has spent on guitars
I gritted my teeth when you fitted the toggle switch. Lovely flame and really dig the soulful humbucker.
600K subscribers.. lol
Go ahead to 1 Million! One of the best channels of guitar and all other stuffs on UA-cam.
Thanks for all! I appreciate.
Bruh, love to see ya smiling and enjoying stuff ya love in these insane times. The guitar came out BEAUTIFUL 😊
Great build, heres a tip for putting in the ferrules in the back of the body, heat up a soldering iron and push them in. It heats up the wood and doesn’t damage the finish
This guitar is a stunner
Sounds great too
I might steal this neck pickup's look

FENDER TELECASTER SIGNATURE GUITAR
DARREL BRAUN
COOL OH YEAH
Let's be honest I feel fender made it, it would cost at least 5 grand. ( That flame maple)
@@trevelyanjoelpakkari1720 not really it should be about 2000-3000
Your guitar is one of the best looking Stats that I have ever seen! Sounds great too.

Awesome...both the looks of your Tele and the tones...wow!
Seeing him very happy about the guitar made me feel better. Wish I had one too so I can be as happy as him.
First time ever in any UA-cam video I have watched a whole build!
Do some more they awesome
What a gorgeous finish!
Lovely looking axe

The body looks like the reflection of a sunset on the oceans wavy horizon 🌅. Great build
I’m glad I didn’t have to wait too long for the build video!
Darrell's videos make my weeks more special! Especially if there's a build! Great job Darrell!
Clean tones sounded fine! Rockin guitar. Don't no how I missed this build!
Beautiful Build!!! Looks like a Fender Custom Shop Special Order Tele.Rock On!!!👍👍✌️
Darrell, that did turn out nicely after all. Nice job!
I am thrilled with your new build! Sounds awesome! I know you must be very happy as well.
Darrell you have such great taste in guitar parts! You could make your whole channel just building partscasters. And then you could sell them when you're done with the video.
Best looking, best sounding guitar you've had on the show to date. Well done.
That tele sound incredible and that neck pickup is gorgeous
My favorite part of this build is the body flame and color. I also like the sound of the hum bucker.
You can tell you love that neck pickup 😊
The brass saddles go hand in hand with that colour!
I know it is just two compatible pieces of wood for a guitar, but these 2 are tight and resonant. I like to say it's magic. It can have the specs, but sometimes they just sound right. That is a great guitar, Darrell.
what an INCREDIBLE bridge pickup tone for a tele.
Looks great Darrell! The build turned out so well and sounds fantastic.
And that’s why teles are the best guitar. Awesome tones and a looker!
I definitely love the channel bound neck more than neck bindings!! So beautiful 😍
Absolutely gorgeous looking tele!
Beautiful!
Both visually and sonically! 😍👍
Wow you made that look easy. Sounds great 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Outstanding DARRELL!!!⭐️⭐️🎸⭐️⭐️
I didn't think that porter would match as good as it does to the Lambertone blonde. Sounds fantastic.
I waited for this..
And wow😮. Congrats to you sir, for this build.

I think I would be tempted to stain that cover amber or orange-amber or very dark to work better with the body
