Nice video about Malaysia's vibrant nightlife and famous exotic street foods tour. I enjoy watching your honest food taste reviews, and glad that you're an adventurous eater and tried almost any kinds of dishes around the world. 😋❤️
So Doug, you still going on North Korea, Iran, Nepal, Cuba, Afghanistan, Germany, Syria, Australia, Hawaii, Canada, Japan, South Africa, Brazil, Honduras, Norway, Peru, Bhutan, Chile, Taiwan, Oman, Iceland and Switzerland, Doug?
For the love of durian, may I suggest to all you first timers, if you are not sure whether you can handle this fruit, please try the cheapest & lowest grade durian to start off. Usually their taste are not as intense & pungent compared to the "good stuff". If after tasting the mild ones & finding it palatable, then you go for it. If not, at least you are not wasting your money & good durian. Save those for the "pros"! 😉
This is weird. I am watching your video on your trip to Egypt because I am heading there next month and here you are in KL????? Dude...welcome to Kuala Lumpur! Thanks for the tips on your trip in Cairo, Luxor and Alex :)
U can also try stingray.... It's good, normally will serve with chili's, sambal and stewfried like teppanyaki. It's taste good. U shpuld try in Malaysia.
The food scene there seems like an explosion of flavors, textures, and smells that can turn even the pickiest eater into an adventurous gourmand, exotic, indeed. But, I've had exotic dishes before when I visited Thailand to film one of our TV show so challenge accepted!
The durian they give must be too sour, you have to try the sweet durian when you've already tasted it so you can know how delicious Malaysian durian is 😘❤️
this video made me realize how tall doug is! which makes me wonder (as a 6'5 guy myself) when you're travelling in places where the population are generally shorter, do you get remarks or comments about your height often?
I lived in Malaysia for three years, the first year I used to say, who would eat this horrible food??? After the first year, I was like, man this durian thing is awesome!
Gentle reminder here. In Jalan Alor, there are some restaurants or stalls that clarify halal and non-halal. So, any tourists that drop to this street need to be thinkable on which restaurants serve the halal foods.

Durian in KL is A1 type of durian, if you eat village(kampung) durian, the price much much cheaper than what you ate
You definitely should try the nasi lemak especially the chinese version which tastes much better than the normal ones.
The grilled fish cake with banana leaf is 'otak-otak'. To me the frog legs taste like chicken meat but more tender.
You can find it in Chinatown in any city in USA or Canada! I will test it soon! lol!

Hey. Are you going to Sarawak while in Malaysia? My wife is from Kuching. Worth a look!
There's no such place as 'the university of Malaysia'. But I do love Jalan aloor
University of Malaya, perhaps.
@@yahyejama683 indeed. It's an odd anachronism, but you'd expect a student to get it right
I miss visiting Malaysia ❤ 🇲🇾🇮🇶

Durian scent is disgusting (ammonia and sulfur like), although it is creamy and sweet.
I think its a bit of a green onion smell too :D, But yeah taste is so good :D
The halal restaurant no frogs but alcohol is being served 😂👌!
Ema is pretty
RM30 for Musang King and you guys didn't even finished one seed.... Omg!

"And that, kids, is how I met your mother."

Frogs taste like chicken
DO they really? I ve heard it before tough
You need skill to eat the snails, first suck then smaller part, then turn over to suck it out at the bottom hole.
very tricky indeed
Appreciate the local delicacy mate. Durian is valuable than your smug face.
no need to be aggressive about it lol, everybody has different tastes
