This over all process can be easy to complete but make sure you have the proper tools and you will be able to complete this upgrade in no time!
The Solas impeller added some performance to the switch and im so happy i made the upgrade!
The new impeller added 2-5mph faster and i also noticed a HUGE difference in acceleration.

What was the pitch LEI sent you? I have a 23 Sport compact 13' and he sent me a 11/19a and I have a HP tuner 8300 rpm limiter but can't get past 7200 looks like he pitched it to . Putting in a 10/18A and will test later11/14 with my WATCON gauge
I’d recommend reaching out to leading edge support to verify correct pitch
@@EndlessRoutes He tried to pitch an 11/19A into a 11/14 which you can only go 1 +/- 1 degree. I will post results with 10/18A in a couple weeks when I get back in town. FYI reached out several time with crickets .

@@ozzysautorepair351 I would recommend to reach out to leading edge impellers. To my knowledge if your above x amount of level the impeller needs to be pitched a certain way.

Great video my Switch 170 just ate some rocks can you drop the part no for your solas I can't find them online anywhere for the 23 switch 170 did you call them or ordered online from a vendor ?

What’s the part number or the pitch angles for the custom Solas impeller? Where did you purchase from?
Call LEI and speak with David, he can make sure you order the correct kit. I'm in Idaho and the lakes are anywhere from 2000 to 3000 foot in elevation which matters when it comes to calibrating the pitch for best performance.

Over all the performance gained was 2mph and more acceleration/ torque
It’s worth the upgrade in my opinion when a new impeller is needed

2. Hold brake until IBR override pops up.
3. Continue holding brake, press mode and then the up arrows until bucket is all the way up.

How much of a difference does this make on top and speed? Also, does it make any other difference??
I gained about 2 mph
Acceleration is smoother
Worth the upgrade in my opinion if you need to replace your impeller
@@EndlessRoutes so I started out getting like 42-43MPH on my 21 230 Cruise. Now; it is down to like 38MPH. I’m thinking this is the Wear Ring??
@@c.juneau410 could be I’d recommend when taking it out the water check the impeller take some pictures and check for damage
I’m assuming that you can look at the wring and impeller through the grading underneath the underneath side of the boat?

I’m sure seadoo has some specialized tools for this and other repairs. Anyone know? This job took a rental place less than 2 hours.
The piece to get the impeller off is a specific seadoo tool

Why do I get the impression that your wife should be performing this repair? Perhaps Not over explaining the obvious would make this a better video. If your viewers need to be spoon-fed every little detail perhaps they should let someone else do this job.
Fun fact my wife is the one who encouraged me to create this video.
Maybe some people like myself need to be spoon fed information to learn.
