Why are we bluring faces? If they are out stealing people stuff, faces should be posted everywhere.
*Cause it was one of the Chief"s sons*
I’m surprised every major city doesn’t have an anti crime porch pirate task force by now.
How do you measure the 17% reduction? Is this a 17% reduction in reported thefts? But what number of packages were delivered in each sample to arrive at that figure?
Don't they realize that catching thieves is not the issue here but letting them go so quick is .
This only happens in America smh 🤦🏻♀️
3rd world...
I bet the program started when the Chief lost a package to pirates
RRRRRRRH There be Primates in these waters Me Bucko
Kinda similar to how Mark Rober lost his package which then started the glitter bomb series
If you are unwilling to cage these animals what exactly is the point of this exercise?
"see, you need us" - Law Enforcement.
@@platinumfalconm3891 It's not the cops who are the problem. It's the Democrats who encourage criminal minorities by refusing to prosecute them.
"animals" aren't stealing packages.....it's creeps, jerks and degenerates.
Today correct...sadly even if caught they will use their generous "no cash bail thing" and get out of Jail within a few hours. Why would anyone be dettered when their is no punishments, conquences or accountability? Prison holds no fear for Crimmals today.
The fact is our prison population is overflowed and people forget we don't even have enough correctional officers. Many prisons are understaffed. The reality is the prisoners run the asylum.
Why block the thieves faces?
That, Detective, is the right question.
Member of the Democrats Cartel protest their own.
@@flashnmb1 The democrats have a cartel?
Stealing a package while the delivery man is still there is ridiculous. The video where 2 thieves fight and the delivery man is watching is super ridiculous.
America is a FULL BLOWN THIRD WORLD COUNTRY WARZONE
What is the point of catching Porch Pirates if all they are going to do is give them a slap on the wrist?! I saw a video where a Porch Pirate was caught with dozens of stolen packages in his car but after going to court all he got was probation. WTAFrak?!
You're absolutely correct. It's too bad that I can't run for a "Global Crime Commissioner" position. My policies would be simple:
1. Oh, so you've committed a CRIME, eh? A heinous one no less. Okay. Okey-dokey, tough guy...
2. We have the evidence on video or other overwhelmingly obvious accounts and data concerning the crime.
3. Into the INCINERATOR you go. Yes, that's right. No questions, no plea bargaining, no lawyers, no wealthy connections or corrupt cronies, and no bonding out... NOTHING.
The end, 'n that's it. It's 2024, not 1224. Humanity no longer has room nor patience for criminal boolsheet, theft, racketeering, grape, ahhsault, embezzlement, and so forth. Sure, sure... be a crim crim if ya wish! But all it takes is *ONE* misstep, suckah. 💪😎✌️ One trip up, and you're ROAD NACHOS. 😡 No excuses, no exceptions, and zero apologies.
Trust me; crime would decrease.
They need to make room in the prison for conservatives and libertarians, when they protest against the tyrannical police state.
Make chain gangs great again.
DC doesn't put criminals in jail from what I've read.
Why are you blocking their faces. They are criminals. Shame, the bad guys get more respect than the good guys!😎🤬
I have a PO Box for the last 2 years. The post office gave me a physical address for packages to be delivered like from Amazon, FedEx, and UPS. This way, I know it’s more secure than leaving it at my front door.
Homeowners should wise up and take advantage of the Amazon lockers. If using UPS, you can arrange pick up at a UPS Store. Don’t know if FedEx has that option.
I just have stuff delivered to my job if it can't go to an Amazon locker.
Unfortunately people are to lazy to go pick up their parcel, that’s why they have it delivered to their house. Almost seems like they don’t care if it gets stolen.
@@amen_ra6926 I mean I guess that's great if you're the manager or own the place. But no way my manager is going to let all of us get our things delivered to work. They don't care about us that much.
no the thiefs should be shut down and stop stealing packages.
Doesn't work for sellers that don't fulfill through Amazon.
I think a good policy before they release you from jail, you should be forced to pay the same amount as the price of the item to the victim.
They don't get charged thanks to activist judges
In China, the minimum sentence is 3 years. No one wants to lose 3+ years of their lives to the slammer, especially young people, so no one cares to steal. Easy solution.
Vote Blue!2024
All the thieves need is an air tag detector and now they know what police department is doing this smh
Yet the real crime goes on; prosecutors & judges consistently setting them free with no consequences.
Weird, I thought retail theft and package theft was legal in the United States.
Only im California and New York.
**This civilization is collapsing.**
@@MetaView7I’m 25 and yes my generation is extremely F*** up.
@@kryptosuperdoggaming 24 and i agree.
@@nkcommunitypatrolwatch7965West Virginia is a much smaller state but they have a much percentage for package theft. Most people don’t get caught or get in trouble for it in West Virginia.
Make sure to make it stick to the criminal record, so future and current employers, will know “thief” was a thing they did.
Or you could just give them lengthy prison sentences when they get caught but being mean to criminals is frowned upon.
You’ll need fake delivery trucks doing the drop offs
In south africa packages have to be signed for by the owner at drop off . Our crime rate is the highest in the world
Yes I have read. Nelson Mandela Bay, Capetown, Durban are among the 50 cities in the world with a high homicide rate.
A decoy... Shazam!
Why not work on behavioral change AND punitive change?!?
Why your revealing the strategies to combat porch pirates! 😂
I’m fortunate enough to live in a building requiring fobs for entry. First responders, USPS, FedEx, UPS, and Amazon have codes for entry that change weekly. I’m glad they’re doing this because not everyone is as lucky as I am!
How do these services get the updated codes? Is there actually a formal/established process where your building has to contact these services weekly to update them on the new code? I'm especially curious about First responders. Must be a big list of people to contact each week.
I lived in Tokyo Japan for 2 years. You can leave your wallet or cellphone on the sidewalk and pick it up the next day. That's how safe it is.
@@terenceyuen4424don't compare Japan and USA 😂 we have culture problem here.
It's great that you showed what they are doing, but did they catch anyone while you were with them?
Wow
Get those bastard thieves!
Why not raise the penalties for this ? That’s a better deterrent and it makes money .
Where is my FREEDOM of SPEECH?
Finally
If your brazen to steal a package your brazen to rob a bank. No different
Is america great yet?
it is sad to see a once-presidential candidate on such a show

Amazing Program. Wish they had this type of program in Chicago!🤩😳😀
Good. 👍👍
Amazon Pickup is a good option for avoiding package theft, at least for Amazon purchases.
Sounds like a good program - like bait cars. Only, be sure the package contains something of value so you can charge the thief with a FELONY not just a lowly misdemeanors!
Please 17%? That's all? But I guess they figure as long as they move their stealing to another area, their job is done. In a less sue happy country, thieves might lose a hand as a form of punishment.
.
Have it delivered to your job if you can or an Amazon locker if it's Amazon and can be dropped off at one.
When they did this and followed the criminals to a movie theater, it resulted in a fire fight in the theater
In the 90s if you did this you would get a year in jail.
Now, they can't put them in jail and rarely even catch them.
The police are not going to waste time arresting someone that will be released and won't pay fines.
They would rather be doing radar and making 1000 dollars off working people doing 45 in a 40
They do offer Amazon hubs ….that is all I use 🎉🎉….why Order something and you know you are not home to receive it ….
just make a call to mark rober if yall really want to do something
The problem is poor customer service,no one signs for packages...I work for an Auto auction we don't a signature for there cars they bought at the auction
"Package dropped off just moments after delivery." I mean. Does no one listen to these reports before airing them?
I don’t know why people would get packages delivered if you’re not going to be home to collect it . Definitely a risk of it being taken which is pretty sad 😔 but I don’t see these type of crimes ever stopping if there is an opportunity they will jump to it 😔
Only leave parcels and packages in secure areas. Normally chosen by property recipient. Response to video only.
the most disturbing part of this is the deteriorating moral of many Americans young generation. This country will be in deep sh1t hole if it continues.
Mindlessly reporting on supposed outrageous crime stats like the sensational “news” corporation you are.
Where are the idiots yelling about entrapment?
Some of them got their packages stolen also. Hence the silence.
Apparently there are none yelling for it
So if you actually enforce laws, behaviors change?
Are the companies dropping shit on porches paying the extra policing cost or are we picking up the tab as usual?
Punitive changes is the exact way you stop this
How about a $500 fine
How many years until they do stings to catch scammers???? 🤨🙄
This undercover police officer looks like he's wearing a fake face.
At least in America the police is doing something unlike in Canada
It's affecting half the country that live in leftist cities
Now they care?
But will they catch them and put them in jail?
Just get your packages delivered to a P.O. box, it's free!
😂😂😂 Now they need to do that at the Post Office too!
Get the drivers to ring doorbells and actually deliver the products to the people who live at the address 🤷♀️
The drivers would never get anything delivered since most people work a job and aren’t home during the day.
If you steal a package i think you should get a least 25 years in prison
You can get more creative with your punishment. How about 25 years of delivering packages for the price of a postage stamp per package.
@@LostChildOfTimeI like it 😂
VETERANS FOR KENNEDY.

Oh of course in DC!
Blatant law entrapment.
Just like bait cars stopped auto theft right?
In West Virginia, parents will take their children and make them steal the packages. Children have been scolded for taking packages not worth anything or just wasn’t anything good. A child end up stealing laptop stickers as caught on camera and mom got angry in the car. Good thing that they are stepping up.
I work on the other side of this as a customer service phone agent. Packages go missing every day sometimes it's just $20 worth stuff and sometimes its $400 Gucci shoes. Its the retailer who pays for a refund or replacement so yes it costs billions of dollars in losses. If you live in a high risk area find a more secure delivery location. Your work, a Ups or FedEx store even a Walgreens.
I had to get a UPS mailbox after 1 package was stolen from my porch. No more issues other than the inconvenience of having to pickup the packages.
Multi-billion dollar problem? my ass..
Stealing = it's the American way 👍🏻✊🏻🤴🏼
It's about time law enforcement start working for the public.
Maybe amazon can send packages with airtag by default
😂😂😂
Hehehehe decoys 😈
Bidens America
You mean Mr Poopy Pants America
I really don't understand why leave something outside the house without having someone to receive that. Deliveries should be given to the owners in person.
People buy so much stuff online, and most people aren't home all day. If they went to pick up centers, those centers would need to be staffed, and open outside of regular business hours. Couple that with the volume of orders and really quickly the low cost delivery option would suddenly cost a lot more money.
People with jobs have to go to work during the day when packages are dropped off.
People have jobs they are not scouting around looking to steal like the porch pirates do
No good without prosecution and jail time. One year minimum for first conviction.
If you're not going to be home when the package is delivered, why have it delivered to your house? "Omigosh! Someone stole my package!" Yeah, you left it sitting there for nine hours! No one's fault but your own. Yet you're going to call and complain that it's Amazon's fault or UPS's fault. Read this carefully. It's your fault! Amazon's got lockers you can use. Use them! If you think the lockers are inconvenient, I am sure that not finding your package when you get home is more inconvenient.
DEMOCRATS said that if it is under $1000 IT'S OK!!!!
