Call me morbid, but your uploads about the plague are among my favourites. I like to be lulled to sleep by your relaxing and soothing accounts of a truly horrific and fatal disease. Weird, I know. 😁
@@johnbowles5399 Not at all strange, friend, and you're in good plague-lovin' company💓Ive been enjoying the plague since library days, but getting lulled to sleep by this gentleman + plague = priceless😂 (Put another ambience "behind" it on a loop, like theres one where you and a plague dr are riding in a carriage w rain and bells tollng, a perfect pair🎊) 🤓👍i love this channel🫶 (We need plague doctor and wheelbarrow emojis too lol😄 ) Still havent found an ambience of iron lungs pumping away in a huge room w nurses during 50s polio epidemic, but if anyone finds it, toss it my way, cheers mates!

Those buboes, once they opened, they gave off a horrible stench. Also, there was pneumonic plague and septicemic plague. With septicemic plague, it also causes the flesh on a person's body to rot.
Iam Spaniard today in some places exists medieval mural pictures represented the " Dance of the death" and dancers represented old tradition in some localities.,
Today, the plague still occurs in wild rodents such as rats, squirrels, chipmunks, prairie dogs, mice, rabbits, and ground squirrels. Sometimes, cats get it when kill rodents. The stares affected are Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Wyoming, and parts of Western Canada and parts of Mexico.

Those buboes, once they opened, they gave off a horrible stench. Also, there was pneumonic plague and septicemic plague. With septicemic plague, it also causes the flesh on a person's body to rot.

The rat flea doesn't like horse as a source of food. So stable boys had a greater chance of avoiding initial outbreak infections

Dance Macabre, like the song by Ghost. (2015)
Doing great work in the comments section here, wow. Thanks for your thoughts.
Today, plague in humans is extremely rare in the US. Only 5-7 cases are reported in the US. 90-95% of cases came from ground squirrels and cats.
Many cities became ghost towns.
The disease went as far as Japan and Korea.
