Thank you, that's very kind. I appreciate the subscription and that you're still watching some of my videos. I did have quite a few requests to show my filming setup and workflow, some as direct messages. I thought I'd briefly touch on what I'm using, although obviously I'm not a video-centric channel so didn't want to dwell on it. Thanks again, Ben.
I love your set up Ben, very nice. I’m drooling over that Marshall. I’m always excited when I see a new post and wish you a very Merry Christmas. Take care. Tim
Thank you, Tim! The Marshall is a lovely amp and they really nailed the look of it. Not that the look is going to make it sound any good, but it does make you wanna give it a try! An early Merry Christmas to you too. Ben
I enjoy seeing how other people design their environment too, especially when it's on the budget end of the spectrum. You have a very nice setup, I noticed in one of your videos. Ben
Lovely video! 👍🏻👍🏻 The audio quality and ESPECIALLY the video quality you manage to get out of that very reasonable if not even minimalistic setup is stunning. Kudos!
Thank you! Very kind words. I do enjoy a minimalist approach, you'll notice my house is pretty damn empty! I'm not sure it's possible to be completely minimalist and still have interests like music and videography, but I'm currently trying to get it to the point where everything I own serves a function AND that everything is in working order. As it turns out, that's easier said than done!
The audio/video quality on your channel is great Ben. Imo, whether or not your gear is expensive seems to have very little effect on the way a channel comes across to the viewer. A few youtubers I watch do fine with just an smart phone. I watch videos on my laptop with headphones btw.
Totally agree and thank you. Some people are just very interesting to watch, or they've found a niche and it doesn't require it to be too over the top in terms of production. I try to make things look as slick as possible, within reason. I could go nuts with the b-roll sections if I wanted to make something extra special, but I've tried to strike a balance between something pleasant to view and something that doesn't take me so long to make that it becomes a chore.
Fun to see this; thanks for putting the time in to make this so informative. -Tom
No worries, it's always fun to see someone's setup isn't it? Cheers, Ben.
Thanks for showing how you create your videos. The quality of your filming, video and sound editing is excellent and made me subscribe!

Amazing video, as always, Dude! Hope get to play together sometime soon.
Thanks, mate! Yes it would be ace to play again, I hope those London guys appreciate what an amazing drummer they've gained!
