Most of these items are expensive because they are from the supermarket, u can’t compare supermarket price and market price .
13 years ago my monthly budget was 125k including fuel,gas,feeding, electricity bill, dstv, 5 bottles drinking water cascade dispenser, thras disposal, estate security, if i were still in naija i would be spending 1million on those things i did for 125k.APC God will judge you all.
For all the things you listed, 1 million will not be enough. Watching this video really scared me. I know it's bad but didn't know how much.
Kings oil 5 litre that i have bought at 3,000 naira before. What is happening? 5 litres of kings oil is now 14,000 naira. Oluwa o. This is a good time to find money and buy Air fryer. Oil is not even healthy.

Kings oil is the major shocker for me as well.
I had to switch to golden Penny Oil, bought 4L at ₦7,800.
One needs to be extra careful while shopping now ooo

These prices choke. Na money we dey chop no be food. I pray things go back to normal. How do those on low income feed? I respect every parent that brings food to the table these days. Take your flowers. Nigeria must be great again. It is well.
When I started buying Mama Lemon, that big bottle was N260 and i would buy three. This is not up to 10 years ago.
The price inflation is effecting us in Yankee too. Today, I was just thinking how to adjust grocery budget becuz the money that I'm spending on food, I don't see it in my fridge or cabinet. Buying food is like a luxury purchase now. But we thank God becuz all is well.
I live in the most expensive part of Canada. Groceries being the same price or even cheaper than Nigeria is blowing my mind. How are Nigerians earning naira affording this?

Honestly. Nigerian foodstuffs in my hood are cheaper than in Nigeria even with the currency conversion. What is going on? Myeyes were literally popping out

That is the challenge, for a low earner like me. I can't proudly keep up with my pineapple, orange and Watermelon treat anymore. It is expensive to buy food now that I have nothing for fruit and the most affordable protein is ponmo. It is sad. 2018 I was earning 32k sef. I fit buy Titus and meat put for soup. Now I cant even when I earn 2X more now.
The inflation rate in Nigeria now is something else 😢
When the prices are not written.., I always ask at the counter, and don’t blink when I asked it be returned….

I always save my receipts to compare prices of the past, present, and the next shopping trip. Some things I've taken off my grocery list, because they are too expensive or we can't find them.
As for the peanut butter, it's the same for my family, so we mostly buy the smooth one.

Prices are skyrocketing all over the world. I thank GOD they seem to return to normal in the EU. My mother is also complaining and she lives in South america. What is happening. e.g Price for Ariel soap she pays €10 to €12 = 16000 naira/ 20000 naira

The best thing to do now is double your budget when planning to go to the market. If you plan to spend N100,000 just double it and still keep another small 'jara' bcuz you'll be shocked at the prices you'll see.
That is possible if one's source of income and accommodate the multiplication..
@sisi yemmie, try and make yogurt at home, very easy and delicious, especially with kids, they'll love it and you can flavor it with fresh fruits.

Sometimes I'm just tempted to be afraid of the cost of things 😂😂 but i thank God for His unending supplies. Honestly, one should just list items now without attaching prices until you get to the market. In all we thank God. Much love ma❤

Salary earners are most heated in all the economy hardship ,I can't even afford all that,, wia would I see the money 30 000, minimum wages,can't even feed u only on garri,, , me no dey chop black berry o,, thank God for ur life ,,u still they get money to afford it, , majority can afford all that u buy ,it's not a realistic situation for us in Nigeria ,only few can ,do this kind shopping,,

Produced in the U.K and shipped to Nigeria with money. As for those you call "poor" they're doing just great avoiding toxins according to Bobby Parish. They eat organic and less wahala from processed food.

As an ivorian, i can assure you that prices have increased every where. In Ivory Coast market nowadays,you can't find something costing 100 fcfa again ooooohhh. I'm asking myself about people who are less privileged by this increasement 😢😢😢

Those packs of tissue are not up to 1500 even noodles is not up to 9k. The same mosquito fleet I bought for #1900 and other toiletries as seen in the video aren't as costly as the prices in d video..

Note I buy from Mushin wholesales market hence d cheaper prices and I still got the items I needed 2days ago..
I'd suggest those on the mainland to make a list book a day and go to the mainland to buy everything they need cus these prices here will buy you twice of these list!!
