AMEN or LIKEWISE! Ozzfest and Lalopalooza (remember those?), Coachella, in my opinion, NOT EVEN CLOSE! In my opinion, the 80s WERE, STILL ARE, and ALWAYS WILL BE, "THE PINNACLE OF CIVILIZATION!"
Thanks for this. I was looking for it for over a decade, as I made a short rock doc about the American Rock Festival. It's available on UA-cam. I knew it was out there, I just couldn't find the right person to fess it up....
I was here 1 week before my 14th bday!!! we came across the state and slept in a van. EPIC! Lotsa weed. Sick!!! Vince Neil climbing the scaffold. I moved to Florida then saw thousands of. killer shows. I found some knock off shirts on eBay. I wish there was a whole video of all of the performances,,, GREAT VIDEO!
This was right in the middle of my concert going years. Saw all the bands except Night Ranger and Accept. I saw Ratt when they opened for Ozzy. I can't remember who I saw Quiet Riot open for. Saw Crue on Theatre of Pain tour. Saw Triumph both with and without Rick Santers.
I was 15 at that time, from Michigan. Lived a few hours away from where this happend and I do not remember ppl talking about it or seeing any ads or news reports about it.
yes sorry, when I first posted the video, Sony Music Entertainment had a copyright against it because of that part that prevented the entire video from being posted. i was obligated to mute the audio or delete that part, so i chose to mute. Sucks
There will never be anything like this again. Groups, festivals, vibe, girls, SUMMERS etc. Glad I lived it.

This has invaluable sociological, anthropological and historical value ! To be 14 in 1984 was just perfect timing.
I was 9 ❤❤

Didn't Quiet Riot open for ZZ Top and Loverboy in, either, 83 or 84?
@@AngelofAnguish I would never pay to see Loverboy. It was Black Sabbath on the Born Again tour. With Ian Gillian as the lead singer.
Thanks Alot for this Canada ,🤘
This is awesome!!! I was actually at the US Festival....

I was there front row on center right. I lasted from start to mid-Ozzy. Then I had to piss so bad I had to be pulled over the barricade.
I was there also 🤘

My 18th Birthday party, was down front stage Left for the whole show
These guys were guzzling hard alcohol like bottled water, damn. But those were our times and these guys ruled.
