Nikki's fashion is always on point

even if they are high its still mighty impressive of how none of them are dead, that they managed to keep this band together even after Corbi replacing Vince, and how Nikki was always able to balance all the hats he had to wear being the visionary and main song writer and lyricists of the band. He just met all the right guys just as hungry as himself.
What I would do to go back to 1981-89.

Listen to the Tom Werman interviews on UA-cam. No one who is really a huge heroin addict is that productive, writing entire albums, recording, touring, traveling, interviews. It makes for good reading though.

Its very easy to tell when someone is on dope.. Thousand yard (blank) stare, glassy eyes, pinned pupils, neglected hygiene, weight loss, etc..
he's slurring too. he never slurred in the early interviews even when drinking .

I know this interviewer looks really weird and everything, but you can tell that Sixx and Lee are enjoying themselves because the guy is actually asking reasonable, musical questions, You would be shocked by the amount of interviewers around this time who would ask them about all this peripheral shit about how many girls they screw, or how much they party. The band kind of got sick of it because it kept people from digging in super deeply into great record like "Shout" and "Girls, Girls, Girls."

I find it seriously mind blowing, that when they zoom in you can see that nikki is strung out and tommy is high. But then comes the part that Tommy has a hard time speaking and nikki doesn’t. I love tommy a lot but jeez! nikki is on dope and speaking wise, sounds just like a normal sober dude
Love this interview. Besides the "line-up" bullshit, Motley has stayed genuine and true to everything they've ever said.

I think that was Mick's choice. He seemed to like his privacy and was in pain a lot of the time from his disease. Poor guy.

Sixx AM is like Queen and Zeppelin got together and put out a album compared to Tommy Lee's horrendous music.
Sixx AM isn't anything special but solid commercial radio rock.
I wouldn't buy it but I would listen to that on a loop for a year straight over Tommy's shit.
