made it last night, used leftover peaches and apricots and baked them in the over first for about 20 min, then added flour batter as per Martha's recipe and baked for another 35 min. Delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream!

Yum yum my mother in law would make a blueberry buckle when I got married at 18. It was absolutely delicious. Now I have the way to make it again with this recipe. 👍
I have printed the recipe that appears in the link and it is not the same as the one she makes in the video, I think there is a difference in the products that she uses. It is only a notification to be corrected. Thanks

Can I use organic sugar and can I use unripened peaches? Or can I use canned peaches in pear juice. Unfortunately I waited to make this dessert late and all the peaches in our store are not ripe. Thank you
Yes, canned peaches will work as well! Sanding sugar is a type of sugar you can find in any food specialty store. Any coarse type of sugar can be used as a substitute!
I just want the peach Buckle recipe and when I click on the link it says entirely different to what she saying in the video she says no eggs but if you click on the link that recipe says 3 eggs and there was a couple other thing that is different from the link recipe then what's she stating in the video so which one is correct

Hey Martha can a can of sliced peaches be used instead of fresh peaches ans what is sanding sugar
I’ve made with canned peaches myself. Using 1 cup each of self rising flour, milk and sugar.

I've never seen anyone make a dessert like this - and not peel the peaches...looks wonderful though.
slicing slimy peaches sounds dangerous
I’m very put off by the fact that she didn’t peel the peaches.

I can’t wait to make it. An enamel coated cast iron skillet seems perfect for this task. I would never have come up with it on my own. Thanks Martha!
