Sal is so cool and genuine! I watch him doing the traffic report on the KTVU Morning news and I’m glad KTVU had him do this feature - he should do more! I can’t wait to visit the foodie joints he mentioned, they all look and sound appetizing!
Thanks for the recommendations Sal! Lagunitas Brewery had a great dinner - spare rib quesadilla, smoked brussel sprouts, and a huge P-town chop salad, outdoor eating. El Roy’s Express Mex truck is very popular w the locals, had some good quesadillas! Stellina Pronto was disappointing. Della Fattoria Cafe is much better - friendlier service, tasty croissants, and a mocha that quickly disappeared. Lala’s Creamery was meh, some disorganization w our orders and the sundaes were nothing special. Go to Wicked Slush in the alley for a memorable soft serve w or without slushee, creamy and generous serving size.
I got you. Ok. I have eaten at every place in town a hundred times over. Cucina Paradiso is awesome for dinner. For pizza, you want Red Brixx. For breakfast, the spot is Tea Room Cafe. For Mexican, you want Mi Pueblo. For burgers, you want Taps On the River. For a quick lunch, honestly just stop into Petaluma Market and get whatever they have up front that day. For a home town dive bar, you want Hideaway. But most importantly, if you go to Petaluma and don't stop at Quinua to get their Empanadas, you lose at life. I used to make excuses to drive to Petaluma to get those things. (Love you Petaluma.)
