IM CRYING AT YOUR EYES IN THE GLASSES LMAO i definitely need a bookstand considering i constantly read while eating meals lol the rubber page flipper could potentially be helpful to people who struggle to grip a tiny page due to motor issues!! love these videosssss
emmmabooks actually I was using a bookstand at school (we had to) but to tell the truth it’s not that comfortable. If you have a heavy book then it’ll just get in the way. I still have this bookstand but I don’t use it anymore
Those glasses would be great for reading while lying in bed! You can lie on your back and look straight up while keeping the book upright on your chest and still see the words without having to hold the book above your face! No more tired arms or dropping books on your face! They could be really handy.
My coworker has a pair of those and that's exactly how she uses them! Unfortunately, I doubt they would be very useful for someone like me who wears regular glasses. It's difficult, not to mention uncomfortable, to wear two pairs at once (part of the reason I avoid 3D movies, haha).
LadyFeline3 Right, I can see how that would be frustrating. If you are cumfortable using contact lenses that could solve the problem. But, I can understand why you might not be. Personally the idea of putting something in my eye freaks me out.
I've been wearing glasses since I was about five (looong time), and I went through a phase in middle school when I really wanted contacts because I felt so insecure about my glasses. The contacts lasted about two weeks because I really hated them, so I got over that insecurity pretty quickly. I haven't felt the need to try them since then. Yeah, putting something in your eye sucks, which is part of the reason I hated them so much; my eyes are a bit sensitive. Alas, I'll have to deal with tired arms and a sore neck. Worth it! :D
LadyFeline3 That certainly is a long time. I have never worn glasses but I know a lot of people who like to wear glasses in order to look inteligent or for fashion even when they don't need them. There really is nothing to be self concious about. Some people need glasses and others don't, it's as simple as that. It's better than irritating your eye.
3:08 in my country (Azerbaijan) we used them for holding textbooks during elementary school. So they are for pretty thin elementary textbooks not actual hardcover books 😂
The book holder thing is actually really awesome! I don't use it for reading novels though but for studying and I just put my text books on it like Spanish or Maths and they I don't need to look down when I take notes or copy problems and I find it great for my posture
I had like 4 of these when I was kid. It was for school but I didn't use it. My brother did sometimes and when someone brought it to school the teacher looked at them like on creeps
The neck flashlight: Perfect for reading under the covers at 1 in the morning, so your parents can't see the light on and you can be unhealthy and stay up all night.
I use those glasses! I have had many brain surgeries and had to be bedbound for quite a while. They were a lifesaver when I wasn't able to sit up. I could just lay flat and read, and not have to hold the book up, since I was liable to drop it, and heavy book to the head + brain surgery was not a good combo. Also useful when watching TV or videos laying down too.
Stella Wenny they’re definitely not perfect, I could only wear them for maximum 30 minutes at a time and then would have to take them off because of the strain. And they did make me quite dizzy and headaches, although that could also be just my health rather than due to the glasses. But when I was properly ill, 10 minutes of reading was better than nothing. X
Dude this is the same problem as last time you did this video. Those things that keep books open aren't for novels and page turns. They're for stuff like cooking, following instructions, copying something for your homework, taking notes, etc.
My mom had a book lighter that was like a bookmark and u would put it on your page and adjust the light wherever you were reading and I was so amazed by it everytime lol { it broke now tho :( }
I have the book light and I love it in the middle of the night when I can't sleep and I need to read to get back to sleep. It was distracting at first but I quickly got used to it and it comes in handy.
I have a book stand and it's one of the best purchases I have EVER made. When I was in college, I used it to stand up my textbooks and take notes. It also helped when I needed to quote passages from books for papers.
Those glasses and mini rubber page flipper could really come in handy! The glasses because I get some serious neck pain from reading. The page flipper because I also write in my books, need help staying focused on the woods (often using my finger) and no paper cuts :)
In Czech republic we use the book holder/display to hold our textbooks when we're doing homework, like copying and solving problems from a math textbook.
We use the bookstand for our cookbook. ;) For reading I use The bookseat though. Love that thing. It let's me read handsfree with the book comfortable in my lap. And you don't have to worry about damaging your book.
That book stand brought so many memories! I had a yellow and a red one (still have it somewhere) when I was in my first grade. Everybody had them these days. I totally forgot about them, so thank you for reminding me.
Around 04:00 We used those in school for sheets in music lessons because we couldn’t bother to hold them while singing. Works good for displaying your book, I agree. Also great in case you deal with textbooks and homework. (With kind regards from a former pupil and (almost) finished uni student)
The book stand would be useful for studying!I used to have to stick to a certain page and have to put heavy things on the corners of the book to keep it open. Also, a cookbook as they said earlier!
Recommendation for super useful slightly-bookish product: At ikea they have these lamps that have clips on the end and they're bendy. I clip mine to the window sill next to my bed so that I'm not holding a light while reading and I can turn it off right before bed without getting up. Super useful for staying up way to late reading.
I used to have a book stand in primary school for school books, so I didn‘t have to turn the page that often, it was pretty useful😁 Also: „Look at how fashion I am“ Jesse, you are the best
I have a slightly less elaborate book holder that works better with hardbacks, and it's super useful for 1) reading while eating, 2) taking notes while reading, 3) knitting while reading, so basically, anytime you want to be hands-free.
We actually use those book stands at school pretty much. They help us to see the text when we get distracted to write something down. They also hold the pages, which is really useful too. In addition to this, some students use the stands to secretly play their phones in class So i think these are designed for holding your school books, when you don't have to flip the page like every minute. Or as you said, for putting books on the display. P. S. Lots of love from all the books of Belarus 🇧🇾
I quite like the Rubber Page Flipper! I'd think of using it if I was eating cheesy chips or something while reading and I didn't want to get my book pages all messy with my fingers. Instead, I'd use my handy-dandy Rubber Page Flipper! Also, I'd definitely love to see a part 3 of this series!! These videos are great!
I got way too excited about this. I love your bookish product videos. I wish I had one of those page flippers in college. I kind of want one of the book stands too, but same as you, not to read with, but to display my Hufflepuff edition of Philosopher's Stone (once I buy it...)
I use a picture frame stand to display my current read. I find that it does in fact motivate me to read. It also makes it easy to grab. I’ve come up with quite a few excuses not to read...
I'm intrigued by the rubber page flipper thingy. Would use it if I had it. Would love to see more of these videos their a bit different and kinda fun. 😃😄
I feel like all teachers need that rubber page turner. After 10 years I still can see my primary school teacher licking her finger every time before turning a page when correcting our work.
In elementary school we used these book stands, because our tables were pretty small and we could put our math book in it while working on a task. I imagine it is pretty usefull if you need a sertain passage from a book to work with and you don't have enough space to lay it down. For reading I don't think it is handy, like you said, fliping the pages would be pretty anoying...

emmmabooks actually I was using a bookstand at school (we had to) but to tell the truth it’s not that comfortable. If you have a heavy book then it’ll just get in the way. I still have this bookstand but I don’t use it anymore
The book stand would also be good for holding open a recipe book while following a recipe ;)
shawna266 wow it would
Yeh, Also reading while eating
I actually wouldn’t mind having one for my giant hardcovers.
Those glasses would be great for reading while lying in bed! Yeah, putting something in your eye sucks, which is part of the reason I hated them so much; my eyes are a bit sensitive. Alas, I'll have to deal with tired arms and a sore neck. Worth it! :D
LadyFeline3 Everything is worth it when you're reading a good book. Well ... maybe not everything, but most things.

Mary Rose totes! I used mine to hold my notes or an outline as I type my novel.
Mary Rose I used a music stand to do the same thing. It made notes so much easier.
I always did that when I actually still used textbooks in school lmao my school doesn't believe in textbooks 😂 but it was really helpful

I'm so curious about these glasses, I imagine the text would be very close to your eyes and I imagine it's not that comfortable?
Stella Wenny they’re definitely not perfect, I could only wear them for maximum 30 minutes at a time and then would have to take them off because of the strain. And they did make me quite dizzy and headaches, although that could also be just my health rather than due to the glasses. But when I was properly ill, 10 minutes of reading was better than nothing. Those glasses are so coooooool. We use book stands for studying. For hardbound books, you can use a different type of book stand.
The rubber page flipper is so lit and those lights thing-y would be very helpful while reading in bed at night.

Those glasses and mini rubber page flipper could really come in handy! The glasses because I get some serious neck pain from reading. The page flipper because I also write in my books, need help staying focused on the woods (often using my finger) and no paper cuts :)
the bookstand is perfect for study sessions when we need to copy and reread a lot the same page and dont have a lot of space in your desk
IDK HOW BUT JESSE JUST KEEPS GETTING MORE ADORABLE
That neck lights would be great for reading on a plane or in a car, especially for paperbacks

The neck light thing is kind of cool, and it would help make a good costume for Halloween.

The book stand would be most useful for things like cookbooks or an image you are using as an art/drawing reference.
I used to have a book stand in primary school for school books, so I didn‘t have to turn the page that often, it was pretty useful😁
Also: „Look at how fashion I am“ Jesse, you are the best
I think that the book stand would also be great for holding recipe books, whilst cooking.
When I started school we all used to use this book stand for school books. It works pretty good for this purpose :)
I always use a bookstand in school. It‘s really help and I recommend to every student!
I have two book stands and I use them for either when I read from a textbook and write down notes while studying or reading while eating.

'FLIP THE PAGE, FLIP THE PAGE' You should totally make this into a record!
I don't know why but the glasses crack me up every time, I think it's the fact that you can see his eyes a little bit xD
I have a slightly less elaborate book holder that works better with hardbacks, and it's super useful for 1) reading while eating, 2) taking notes while reading, 3) knitting while reading, so basically, anytime you want to be hands-free.
The book stand is made for cookbooks and such. Books where you don't turn the page very often
5:34 That tune that you made, no one could have done it better 😱😂
3:04 Lol. I have this, but I only ever used it for my schooltextbooks when I did homework.
