Why do people always get butthurt when others say Micheal could be a boxer, they’re not saying that he can beat a professional, they’re not saying he’s better than one, they’re just saying that if he put his mind to it and at the rate he was improving he could have if he really wanted to, obviously it was just for the big screen. But you can’t say that he has no heart, and then proceed to watch a video talking about how much heart he had.
Cold Prince there are different levels of pro boxing, so he could go pro if he wanted to. Not all pro boxers are the ones you see on pay per views, some of them are really trash.
im not mad people are saying that he could be a boxer, fucking anyone can become pro, I saw a guy on a proper PPV event who had about as much skills as a yr 8 kid would have in a street fight, he was trash. I get annoyed when people say he could easily become a good boxer just because he trains hard. Hes got to have heart and be able to take massive punches whilst returning his own
@@rgenrique1239 but all boxing is is training besides having to take punches but you don't automatically love being punched, no one does but after your first few heavy hits the lighter shots like jabs aren't jarring anymore and the rest can be managable. With enough time and dedication anyone could be a boxer but not everyone WANTS to become a boxer. Taking a hit really isn't as bad as you're making it out to be, the thought of being hit is scarier so if MBJ overcomes that then he'd be fine unless he has a glass chin of course. But he's also bigger so he wouldn't need to be overly fast because he'd have a lot of power behind him. But I just think it's more everyone could, not everyone should. I'd be behind him as a boxer but I don't think he should make the jump as entertaining as it would be.
@@rgenrique1239 I know, I've taken have shots but none are ever as bad as the first and if you get over that then it's way easier, that's why I said light shots aren't bad after your first heavy shot and heavy shots aren't as bad after you've had your first. Even if you have a glad chin if you're a good enough boxer you'll still be fine, look at Amir Khan for example, great boxer but his chin is dog shit so he really just has to be better than his opponent so he doesn't get clipped enough to go down.
@@billghli mate are you comparing MBJ-an actor- to Amir Khan? Amir Khan was an olympic medalist at 17 bro, MBJ doesnt have that boxing talent at all. And the thing is, the punches never get easier to take, you just get scared of them less as you spar more and you get more comfortable. But you saying anyone can be a boxer and anyone can get over taking big punches is laughable. I dont care if you're a novice amateur, or a seasoned pro, a big punch is going to feel the same, its just the seasoned pro knows how to roll with it better. Like I said to every casual boxing fan on here, until MBJ can handle himself in a HARD spar, I dont believe he has what it takes to be a good boxer. Its all good training, but you need to have the bollocks to do it

If he carried on at the rate he is and sparred regularly he would become more of an animal than he already is, but the fact he hasn't had a fight (as far as we're aware) is a huge factor obviously. I think a lot who comment that do it because people get kinda caught up in the fact he looks the part, while other athletes who just aren't top tier in their divisions get shit from people, so it seems weird that Michael gets praise a boxer would get.
That being said, I can also guarantee a lot of it stems from jealousy, dude is shredded.
How can you not like this guy? Talented, Driven and has sharp acting skills. Been watching him since his "The Wire" days. Stay up MBJ.

Oh boy this was great. He did boxing 3-4 times a week, and weight training everyday for 8 full months. He lived the life of a boxer for close to a year (training, diet, strong foundation).
Quick Rundown of the video (for those waiting a sort of list of inspirational things he did)
1. First: Focus on the foundation and footwork (to generate powerful punches through your legs).
2. Warmups / Workouts: Jump Ropes, Weight Sled, Punching Boxing Bags, Pull Ups, Dumbbell Bench Press, Pushups, Boxing Practice / Sparring, Gym Battle Ropes,
3. Relaxation: Basketball, Meditation, Stretching
4. Workouts: Hanging Leg Raises, Dumbbell Lateral Raises, Chin Ups, Shadow Boxing, Chest Press Machine, Dumbbell Curls,
5. Cardio: Running a few miles (perhaps daily ??? or maybe on his boxing days ?? )
Anyway, thats what I saw in the video, in order of when it showed up in the video. If I named any exercise incorrectly please correct me. I stopped somewhere towards the middle / end of the video so there may be a few exercises I didnt attempt to write down since I didnt know what it was called. But anyway, hope you can just google the names of these exercises and find something similar to what micheal did in this video and use it in your personal routines ;).
NOTE: Would be cool if someone could take this list I made and add time stamps, and the proper exercise name if I named anything incorrectly. So people can get a quick preview of the exercise the name references ;) but If not I guess they can just google haha.

This man is truly motivational and I love his heart. He definitely showed me that even though it sucks right now being deployed and away from my family. I need to use this time to focus and push my limits so I too can become the best version of myself.

we run 2 hour straight in football it was only suppose to be a 45 minutes run but if you fail the time adds up
