I always stress that efficiency is important 30 to 45 minutes can get you a solid workout. No phone no social media decrease wait time in intervals and you can be sore like you did a 2 hour workout. This is essential for people that juggle work, exercise, and family.

Some people are commenting on the weight used and I wanna clear things up a bit. So muscle mass can be brought out at first with light weight high reps. It’s called Muscular Endurance. Once your body has adapted to the stimulus placed on it you have to move the next phase of periodazation which is usually Hypertrophy /muscular strength then you can really see gains. This trainer does seem to have knowledge on what he is talking about. It isn’t about lifting Heavy weight all the Time.

Should try calisthenics (bodyweight training) all you need is a pull up bar and know a few different types of push ups when your starting off,
You don’t need him to train you, just watch videos on certain exercises.
