During the Hobbes fight each alliance/platform has its own unique floor mechanic: (ALLIANCE A) the glowing heads beneath the floor will shoot electricity upward , (ALLIANCE B) the conveyor belts will move you around, (ALLIANCE C) the three circles will spray burning oil in the glowing areas. Pay attention to the floor to see which one your alliance got.
Just a little heads up, at 6:30 on the add group. The 3 big adds must be split else they take very little damage and you'll wipe to the charge. Also the 2 tank adds must always be picked up by tanks, it targets whoever has enmity with tb laser beam and will kill any non tank ^-^
As much as I love running this with alliances, battle effects HAVE to be turned off. You'll get clipped by so many AoEs and telegraphs simply because you cannot see. Massive fun though, this might be my favorite alliance yet.

It didn’t help that I’m mid-upgrade on my PC, and my frame rate in the last boss kept tanking down to about 18 with all those dust effects. 😂
03:08 yesterday i took all 4 tethers at once. poped a TBN and no problem😊 also it seems every alliance has different aoe dodging mechanics. i've seen mechanics happening on the other 2 plattforms that never appeared on my platform. they do repeat but i think alliance A has do dodge different stuff then B or C. or am i wrong?🤔 at least i noticed it to be like that on 03:52 04:30 you said you want a giant Colossus in this raid......you got one!😜 06:30 yep, they need to be split.......also its AUSTRIAN Schnitzel!!!!😆 all in all good summary👍🏼

i was hoping for generic info at start.. how to get this raid open, iLvl req etc.. i have some 80s but no clue how ppl get to a raid.. can u go with randoms or need 24 friends? etc.
@@DesperiusFFXIV Yeah its pretty easy but it is really fun how its not hard of its own accord, but rather from the cascading hilarity of pug group errors. Thats what makes its mechanics fun. Seems like it might be more boring for tanks tho??

Nicole Nazle Under Character Settings or System Settings, it's under the Battle file I believe

Oh yes, Wiener Schnitzel it is indeed. Taking all tethers is something we tanks should aim for and the Goliath battle was amazing !

Actually for the ring AOE's for the second boss, if you time it and go to the first ring right after it lands, you can still avoid it.

The quests starts in Tomra, Ilvl requirement is 435 and you can easily queue alone without anyone in your party 😊👍

Yeah dancers are popular as he... but you can turn off/decrease the spell effects of others under the character configurations ☺️👍
Yeah turn off other player effects. They kept getting me killed in Eden 3.
