@@williamcrotts7054 The XC makes 2 more HP than the XCW. First gear is significantly lower on the XCW and 2nd is a little bit lower as well, 3rd - 6th are identical on both the XC and XCW
@@AngryyBeaverr Incorrect, both transmissions are the same, only difference is final gearing. XCW 13/45 XC 14/47. Plus the XC makes 6-8 more HP. Do your homework dude. Your facts may of been correct in 2018 but not now.
i brought one fue months ago after 10+ off a dirt bike, 09 model exc (im in oz) and im happy as with this all rounder she has it all in my opinion. out of all my bikes this one definitely takes the cake for sure..stay safe out there fellas yeww👊✊
🤔 hmmm. I’m a former motocrosser. And yes I got the xcw. I don’t find any shortage of power. I’m 180lbs. I switched the sprockets to 12/48. And I find it’s fantastic. I guess it’s all preference. But a 300 2stoke. Is not low on power. That’s forsure. Xc 👍 xcw👍. Don’t think you can go wrong with either of these bikes. 🍻🇨🇦
The trans ratio and powerband stuff is not real. However, I get that you only have the XC. For me, I rode an XC and for the first time in forever, I wanted a KTM. I didn't want to possibly screw up the deal by switching models. For me premix without an injection delete, and suspension were bonuses. KTM doesn't do themselves any favors, and you have to dig to find the differences. Since they have changed things up over the years between the XC and XC-W lineups everyone assumes they know the differences, but they don't. Even my downloadable manual from KTM has multiple sections about oil injection, and stuff about air forks like they couldn't be bothered to delete the inapplicable stuff and save another version of the file. Enjoy your XC, I know I am.
@@adaycj the manual covers SX and XC models for the 2024 model. The XCW has its own manual. You can tell the differences right away. The XC is in between the SX (motocross) and XCW (enduro) models. Best of both worlds! Thanks for watching 😊
Same transmission ratio
Ahhh , thanks I will pin this brother
I have always bought the XC, its the best 2 stroke made.
Only difference is the final gearing, XCW 13/45, XC 14-47. Transmission is the same. Great review, especially if you're a 3rd grader.

@@RIDEreviewRELOAD Correct. And the manual still has multiple sections that don't apply even though the file you download load is labeled "XC".
